Tell us about the leaders!

the three current leaders of the clans!

Greasestar, leader of Honorclan and formerly known as Greasepool. He is the 7th generation of leaders to the clans.

Formerly a pet alongside his brother York they ran away from home to be strays. Until they met Macstar the leader at the time. Who fought him over a misunderstanding of prey, Macstar said he say potential in the two of them and if they wanted to they could join him in Honorclan where they could hone their skills.

The two were amazed at the large warrior tom and simply followed him to camp. They wanted to be just like him

They trained alongside a few others, notably Avenue who had been there for a few moons a weird lookin cat that to be honest York and Grease werent so sure was even a cat.

None the less they were named Greasepaw and Yorkpaw and quickly became friends with Avenue.

Greasepool became a cunning warrior who was charming to others, very likable. He was made deputy to Macstar after Thorntail's death, and after Macstars death Greasestar was made leader.

He became mates with avenue and is known as a kind leader with a sympathetic heart. But a mean streak to those who have wronged him.

Revelstar, Current Gloryclan leader and formerly named Revelspark. 4th leader of Gloryclan.

Revelstar is large and wise leaders who cares for all their clansmates, always watching out for them and wanting to keep them safe. when their clanmates are hurt its on Revelstar's shoulders they dont want anything bad to happen to their clan

they are the oldest of all the current leaders by a few seasons. They had a mate in the past, Elmsprout who has now passed on. They also have their child Algeasnout who is the current head medicine cat of Gloryclan.

When things went down with Tranquilstorm and Agonypaw they felt personally responsible as they put Agonypaw into Tranquilstorms care. Revelstar was never able to forgive Tranquilstorm and wanted to send her away or worse.

Mutestar, current leader of Loyalclan and formerly named Mutewatcher. She is the fourth leader of Loyalclan.

She became leader after the death of the former leader andher former best friend Flaxstar. She was rather close friends with Flaxstar until talk began through the clans and Flaxstar started trouble with Gloryclan over old grudges without telling her. The fight got the deputy of Gloryclan and Flaxstar killed.

Mutestar was made leader but she often wonders if she should be leader, if Flaxstar was such a crooked cat, she once put so much trust into him did that mean she was a bad pick? that she had bad judgement.

All thoughts that she keeps silent in only her mind, for she is leader now and cannot show her clanmates she isnt fit to lead.

Mutestar is, as her name says selectively mute. As a kitten she was named Melodykit by her parents Frugtune and Wheatwhiskers. But after spending most of her early kit hood not making much noise she was renamed Mutekit. Her littermates are Hummeadow and Songchaser. Mutestar was also born mostly black and slowly has turned white as she's gotten older. She's a bit of an oddity to some but well respected.

She love to attend Loyalclan monthly gatherings where cats from all clans meet in-between gatherings to share stories, sing songs and be festive. Thought they often tell stories of the fall of Flaxseed and it makes her uncomfortable.

Mutestar is the youngest of the three leaders.

Stylish and innovative. Modern yet minimal. This is what the Mutewatch can bring to the table. Made by a Swedish company, this unique watch comes with an innovative hidden display. With the display hidden, the Mutewatch has the appearance of a chic looking bracelet. The display brightness adapts to the surrounding light giving you the optimal glow you need to check time.

The Mute Watch may look like a simple digital watch but the watch face actually has a touch screen interface.  By simply swiping horizontally, you can gain access to other features of the watch such as setting alarms and timers. To adjust the time, just tap the areas above and below the digits, or swipe the digits vertically to change the numbers accordingly. Pinching the screen erases an alarm. MuteWatch calls this their “simplistic and human approach” to technology.

The Mutewatch comes with a built-in motion sensor which allows for activation of the watch face with just a simple flick of the wrist. You can also activate the display with a tap on the display. It also has a vibration mode for silent alarms. The strength of the vibration is controlled by your movements which are detected by the motion sensor.

The battery is chargeable through USB and can last for 7 days on 2 hours of charging. It comes with an adjustable wristband and is hand washable. The watch arrives in hibernation mode. It is water resistant at a depth of 100 meters. Telling time has never been stylish and sophisticated as before with this intuitive digital watch.

Would you tell us more about mutestar?

Mute star was first born from her little, she was ‘biggest’ per say but she was the lankiest. she took up a lot of leg room.

Her parents were named Frogtune and WheatWhiskers. 

Mutekit was almost all black as a kit but as she got older more of her pelt has turned white 

When Mutestar was born she was originally name Melodykit, it was to go in theme with Songkit and Humkit. But her moons spent in the den she never spoke and was renamed Mutekit.

Mutestar is selectively mute and autistic.

Her warrior name was Mutewatcher and she apprenticed Skyleak, Heavymurmer and Moldpelt during her time as a warrior.

She is the third leader of Loyalclan succeeding the previous leader Flaxstar.

She is younger than her deputy Waxwhisker by a full year. 

When she was a young apprentice the forest she lived in had human construction tear it down. They three clans were able to scoot over their land to maintain enough land for their clans to live while still being isolated from the small city. (except one of the three clans who chose to readjust their clan to make most of their territory the city and having only their camp ground within the woods) 

Mutestar currently hasnt a mate but would one day like to have a family.

I had the pleasure to meet Mai-Li back in 2009 whilst she was doing her exchange at LSE. We kept in touch since then and have collaborated with her in several projects. Not many people is capable of converting an everyday problem into a winning product.

🌱 any big battles, fight, wars?

mm since i do plan to do some writing for my fan clans

ill talk a bit about one or two of the big battles in their clan history

The land fued of Gloryclan and Loyalclan

Gloryclan had a feud against Loyalclan for a few seasons, it was the biggest fight the two peaceful clans had in their history. 

The clans were led by the late senior leader Prismstar, and the younger leader Flaxstar of Loyalclan. 

A group of Loyalclan cats had begun to claim suddenly at gathers that the land that gloryclan lived on was once theres and that they deserved to take it back. many argued that their history shows that they gave up the land believing it to be unlivable and Gloryclan rightfully claimed the land. 

there was much bickering, Leader Flaxstar while at first seemed to want his clan to be calm and apologize to Gloryclan. However upon returning home, Flaxstar’s deputy Mutewatcher soon learned that Flaxstar was working with the cats who seeked to take back their land. Mutewatcher was horrified to learn the leader she loved and followed for moons had these motives. 

Mutewatcher too late learned this and warned her clanmates. Flaxstar and his group of cats had left camp to make an attack on Gloryclan.

Many cats where hurt that day, Only two deaths, Flaxstar who in an attempt to kill Prismstar killed Daisynose, the current Deputy who had given her life to save and kill flaxstar. 

Mutewatcher brought her home the offenders and had them imprisoned until she could deal with them. She starclan and was given her Nine lives and named Mutestar

Awaiting a retaliation from Gloryclan, she instead was met by Prismstar and his sister Benevolancelight. the two seeked to end this fighting, hoping Mutestar as new leader would be willing to seek peace. 

The two clans agree’d to end this feud here. 

Honorclan turf wars

Honorclan is often to big and scattered around to be bothered by the other clans, their battles are often within their own clan territory with local gangs of strays. The ally cats who live around in Honorclan often mock Honorclan for their ways and just seem them as a soft gang who ‘askin’ for an ass kickin’’ 

Honorclan has often had to fight back small petty groups of rising cat gangs.

But in the past there has been some serious danger with other gangs who got too big and strong. Some, got smart. They realized their weaknesses. 

The gang cats attacked them in their home. Attacking their nurseries, their medicine cat and their leader. their home was torn to shreds. The battle against these attackers could be heard all the way in the other two clans camps. 

Many queens, being attacked first before warriors could arrive lost their lives. 

Their Current leader at the time, Macstar Lost his 8th life.

Do you actually care about Smart Watches?

There seems to be a lot of buzz around smart watches like flies buzzing around a horse’s manure, however the question remains whether consumers actually care about smart watch technology coming to market or not.  Of course some smart watches already exists on the market, in fact watches like Pebble Watch smashed the scale when it came to their kickstarter project.  Been funded via kickstarter a crowd-funding platform can immediately prove there is a huge demand for smart watches but is it still good enough to replace your Rolex? (if you own one).

Watching the Internship when the boys got fired from their sales job, there was a scene where the owner said no one checks the time on their watches anymore, they simply check their smart phones (or brick phones if you are old school), which to certain extent is very true. Been a user of various smart watches, I find that the novelty wears off after few weeks of using it, you are happy/excited until you find yourself forgetting to charge it when it runs out of battery then you feel like just using a regular watch or using your phone.

If the unique selling point of any smart watch is not to tell the time, then would it be that it extends your smart phone which you probably have in your hands anyway because most of the time you are reading a message, tweeting, playing a game or watching a movie, so why do we need something on our wrist to duplicate the notifications you already see whilst using our phones anyway? perhaps the only people that can make it cool to have one would be Apple if they released an iWatch?
