Hawkins High doesn't have a girls basketball team. Actually, there weren't any girls' teams for the sports you enjoyed. Cheer wasn't your thing, especially with all the little snakes that writhe around in there. Volleyball sucked, the coach was a bitch and the same snakes in cheer, happened to also slither their way onto the court. And the boys' soccer team was just at too much of an advantage.

You'd thought about joining the boys' basketball team many times before since,

1. your boyfriend was on the team

2. you'd finally be able to competitively play basketball because you actually weren't awful at it

but the cons outweighed the pros in basketball. These boys.. 𝘮𝘦𝘯. were all about a foot or so taller than you and way stronger. It's not like you didn't work out. You did. In fact, you were a lot more muscular than some of the boys at the school.

The nights Neil and Susan were gone, you'd stay the night at 𝘉𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘺𝘴', get an evening lowers rep in with him, and then the next morning, he'd wake you up around 9 in the morning and begin his daily upper morning reps. It took you a few minutes to get up, but by the time you were up and ready for the day, he was done with his second set. His muscles were always admirable. The girls at school who worshiped him would cream their panties at the sight.

Once he's done, you give him about 10 minutes in the shower before you begin your reps. He usually comes out when you have to get your heavier sets in just to be a spotter, but you normally do fine. Some days, He'll come out in nothing but a towel and spot you on the heavy reps, drops of water dropping onto you from his hair.

The days like these were simple, some days you'd watch a movie or two, go out to eat at the mall, laze around his or your house, have a little bit of raunchy fun, or, play some good old basketball at the park.

The park wasn't anything cool. A few swingsets here and there, a creek, a wooden playset and a surprisingly nice basketball court. You'd call up some other kids that play and just have a nice game of ball. Easy enough, until Billy's the one on the opposite team gauding you. Then it gets a little bit taunting.

I saw this in another fandom and now I'm sending the same question to a bunch of Jake girlies (gn) because it’s so interesting seeing everybody’s answers!

Who are your top 3 Jake boys and why? Is there a specific piece of art (fic, gif, fan art, etc.) for them that you like a lot?

My top 3 Jakes? Ooh this is a good question!

3. Elwood Dalton- The most recent and actually the dope that got me to change my theme and whatnot. He's that good.

2. Jack Twist- Because there will never be another movie like Brokeback Mountain. The cast, the writing, the direction, the cultural significance, and the music is of such high caliber to even think it can be duplicated is bananas. Heath and Jake made something undefinable and magical. Created a love so real that to witness it, is to mourn a life. Jack Twist is and will be arbiter of love undying forever.

Donnie Darko- And at number one is Donnie because even though Bubble Boy was my first Jake movie I ever remember seeing him in, it was Mr Darko that made me sit up and pay attention. All of 10 years old in the movies with my sister that dragged me along to see this movie realizing, "oh shit, this is really something. I don't understand, or grasp all this but boy howdy this is cool looking. And that dude is definitely gonna be a problem for me."

Bonus: Billy Hope- And lastly cuz I just couldn't help it is Billiam Hope himself. He's the most dangerous character Jake's ever played because I still to this day think I can fix him. Yo don't even worry about all that Billy boy, I know you need me. He's the reason I have the tag "Tragedy is a boy named Billy" and why I've been BillyBoyBlue for a while. I'm not even going to get in to the nitty gritty because we'll be here all day. He was robbed for this movie.

I'm gonna say what were all thinking, it takes a special kind of actor to have such a spectrum of characters. I can count on one hand the actors with comparable resumes. Where is his Oscar!? What is the problem?

I have had three questions rolling in my head: 1. does (not what) Billy Russo listen to music? He gives me ‘I have a gym playlist at my home gym’ but music is too distracting otherwise vibes. 2. Twin!AU: What type of gals does Jonny like compared to Billy and what’s it like to date either of them? 3. (Random head canons about Sasha, Logan, or Billiam? Or all three?)

1. Billy & Music

Billy definitely likes some background noise when he’s working out. It’s the only time that silence really bothers him. He kinda tunes it out when he’s focused on what he’s doing so as long as it’s not too loud or high pitched he’s listening to anything.

I feel like if he’s doing a date at home with you he’ll put on some background music just because he likes the idea of it, but will end up turning it off or down very low so that he can focus properly on the conversation.

He hums in the shower when he’s in a really good mood, but won’t listen to music there, and he doesn’t play music when he drives. Driving is one of his joys in life, so when he does it he likes to focus on the car.

2. Twin!AU

When it comes to what kind of partner they want, Billy and Jonny are almost opposites.

My first thought was the grumpy/sunshine trope - Billy wants a sunshine and Jonny likes a grumpy.

Whilst mysterious and aloof might intrigue Billy, he’s not going to be interested in figuring you out, and his trust issues will stop him from catching any feelings.

Whereas Jonny enjoys spending time pursuing someone. He loves confidence. Anyone who walks into a room and creates an instant presence is bound to get his attention.

Billy usually flirts with people who are Jonny’s type - confidant, sure of themselves, equally as flirty - because he knows he won’t catch feelings for them. He’s secretly drawn towards anyone who’s a little softer.

If you’re open and show him kindness, Billy will be falling so hard so fast.

Jonny’s partner will clash with Billy sometimes because they’re both so similar, whereas Billy’s partner will be best friends with Jonny instantly. Whichever one you’re dating, they will both want to protect you and ensure that you’re okay.

3. Headcanons for my boys

Aleksander

Aleksander loves scented candles. In his humble opinion, they’re one of the greatest things ever to be invented. He makes an offhand comment about how much he likes your perfume, and you casually gift him a candle based on the scent. That candle burns constantly by his side as he works at his desk. Whenever he writes you, and only you, a letter he uses the wax from that candle to seal the envelope shut.

Billy

Billy gets really intense hay-fever for about two weeks in springtime and it’s absolute hell for him. Literally no remedies work, he just has to push through it because he knows it will be over soon enough. But, when you’re dating and you see him with watery eyes and a rosy nose rubbed raw from tissues, you end up doting on him to the point in which he milks his state of wellness for a few extra days.

Logan

Logan is secretly very sentimental. Like he will keep tickets and receipts and photos from your dates and write down songs that are important to you both. He doesn’t have a perfect memory, so he likes to keep hold of things so that he can remember the good times you have together and those things act as tangible proof to remind himself that you think he’s worth all this effort.

So. Fun fact about Lucien is he speaks very good Goblin. I thought it would be funny for the pretty Unicorn boy to speak a random language - but I thought tying it to his background would be even better.

Now, he was a kept pretty pet, something he and Billiam will bond over some day when his walls are down, and he got out of that situation thanks to Goblins he'd been... paying off.

I think it would be BEYOND hilarious if he learned to be so charismatic and swaying during this time, and would casually steal from his owner who had NO IDEA because he's just so soft and pathetic and frail~ but he works with goblins to do his dirty work, and Lucien would pay them to get him things too when master wasn't looking.

SO WITH THAT SAID... third session in, my girlfriend and I went to a sewer, where my dear rogue of an ungraceful bastard tried to convince some goblins to leave their stations - while using Dahlia's money to do so - and has started to basically say he'll call in favors to them someday.

Dahlia has so much god damn money... she basically paid for college tuition for these goblins if I think about what he did...

But we were cleaning up inventory for this little campaign we're doing and I was like oh... Dahlia still has a lot of black dragon hide - should we like... make that some day?? Since Billiam has like, ya'know, the info for all that. The image of a little black clad outfit for Lucien and his GANG OF GOBLINS JUST... makes me lose my shit honestly. I need it.

This is Billiam Nova! He's my other boy of joy. He's a human. His name doesn't really mean anything, I don't think. It's just a fun name I picked kinda inspired by the Sir. Billiam from Tales of the SMP 😅 though my character and that one have nothing really in common. Anyway~
