every now and then i remember something from my childhood that just makes me go “damn. and no one thought autism, really?”
#ftr i am actually very glad to not have a paper record diagnosis because there are too many risks there#but like all the adults who raised me were teachers and nurses#my dad was literally a special ed teacher for 30+ years and finished his career in an autistic specific classroom#and none of these bitches noticed the pretty obvious and even stereotypical signs?#the dinosaur kid who would starve before eating the food they dont like and has to readjust their socks a dozen times to get them right#(its ableism thats why im well aware)#actually autistic#autistic#autism#ecdysing
