late valentines, i suppose? this has been a wip since last year but i finally got around to finishing it this week. i ran into a few issues that i almost gave up on it but it's been so long since my last upload and i wanted to share something before February ends so here it is! i drew the scalp textures from scratch in Photoshop (using one of the braids from GT as a reference) so it took ages. it's not perfect but i quite like it, hope you do too <3

Waterside warble - tattoo studio, pub & apartment

Waterside Warble is located on the harbor of San Myshuno. These two brick townhouses also fit in with the others. There is a tattoo parlor and a pub/dance hall. While the tattoo studio scores with its clean industrial look, the pub impresses with its colorful and mixed-up look of joy and exuberance. Above the pub is a lively two-story flat with a very eccentric look. There is plenty of space for all kinds of hobbies, be it fitness, gaming, playing the piano, reading or mixing cocktails. There is a laundry room, dressing room, guest room, bar...

a more modified, slightly less saturated version of my previous preset! i use this for most of my posts and gameplay screenshots. required shaders, if you dont alr have them, have been included in the shaders folder. hope you guys like it ^__^

🌐 put the shaders in your Bin -> reshade-shaders -> shaders folder [tutorial on reshade install can be found here] 🌐 turn edge smoothing off in the sims graphics settings for outline to work 🌐 tested and it works with the game’s latest version! lmk if there are any hitches at all

CLEAR - CAS RESHADE PRESET 5.9.2

hi everyone~ So I was having a crisis with my CAS reshade and CAS background recently. Played around with reshade for DAYS until I got the look I was going for. Its similar to my Crystal CAS reshade, but...better imo lol

Toggle keys for some shaders included

~urban haze~ reshade preset!

I've been using this preset on my twitch for a bit now, and i've finally gotten around to releasing it!! I'm very happy with it and I currently use it for everything😅

Urban haze has a focus on realistic lighting with a slight hazy and warm feel. Less blue in shadows, darker nights, deeper afternoon shadows, saturated sunsets, balanced greenery. Use it in any world, I've tested them all :)

How to download:

♥ Download Reshade: (I use reshade 5.7.0, I can't say how this preset will behave with other versions of reshade, or G-shade.)

♥ During Reshade Installation, select The Sims 4, choose DirectX9 as the rendering API.

♥ Effect Packages to install: standard effects, sweetFX by CeeJay, qUINT by Marty McFly, color effects by prod80, and Legacy effects.

♥ Download urban haze below, drop it in your Sims 4 installation's "Bin" Folder

♥ Open the Sims 4, Disable edge-smoothing in your graphics settings if it's not already, In the reshade menu, set RESHADE_DEPTH_INPUT_IS_REVERSED= to 0 in global preprocessor definitions if it's not, and MXAO_TWO_LAYER= and MXAO_SMOOTHNORMALS= both to 1 in qUINT_mxao's preprocessor's definitions.

♥ If you're struggling with installation, I suggest you check out @kindlespice's installation tutorial! It was made for reshade 4.9.0 but the instructions remain the same.

Notes:

♥ Both Depth of field shaders are off by default, you can enable them using their shortcuts: ctrl + Q (MagicDOF), ctrl + W (MartyMcFlyDOF) or enable them manually.

♥ MXAO.fx also has a shortcut (ctrl + R) bc sometimes the DOF blur makes the shadows weird, most of the time it's fine!

♥ Could potentially be gameplay friendly, depending on your GPU! The MXAO and DOF shaders will be the most performance heavy, feel free to adjust to your liking.

♥ The pictures above were taken with this preset and no further editing, but I do use a few lighting mods that will affect how my game looks:

i've been playing with this preset for a while now, and i've finally polished it enough to put it out into the world. it is probably the most subtle preset (IMO) that i have ever made. i wanted to keep the natural tone of the game as much as i could bc that is just the vibe i've been loving.

important: i use lighting mods/terrain overrides in my game. without those there is a chance your game may look different then mine. i will link all lighting mods/terrain overrides below.

Graveyard of Willow Creek

The Willow Creek Cemetery is located on a 64x64 lot. In addition to many countless graves, new and old, there is an old church. Services can be held in this church. In the basement of the church there is also a sacristy and a crypt. In the side aisle of the church there is enough space for a funeral ceremony, including a room for a subsequent funeral reception. For a realistic gameplay I recommend the lot traits (chruch, graveyard) from KiaraSims and the Mortem Mod from @simrealist.
