(i had this sent to myself before taking soldier out of the exploring group) i imagine audrey meets the tf2 gang in place of allison, like she's searching the chest in Heavenly Toys for food and soldier in his v charming way is like "looking for THIS??" rly fucking loudly & scares the shit outta her. He holds the bacon soup out stiffly, can already cracked open with suspicious bite marks. She hesitates. "Well? Are ya gonna take the rations or what, survivor??" And Red/Brick/ steps out from behind him and goes "Don't worry, I only used my teeth on it! I didn't produce any saliva." all nonchalantly and Audrey goes OH a child then OH a little person and then OH A LITTLE PERSON WITH FANGS AND TUSKS???

Hey guys, here are the first concept drawings of my little Rubysona! She’s a star ruby nicknamed Socks (because you’ll never see her wearing the same pair of socks with her lil heeled boots). After the shattering of Pink Diamond she was one of several ruby soldiers deployed, but her unique gem earned her torture and torment from her team on a daily basis. Because of this strain she was poofed before she could even fight. Her gem laid dormant in the battlefield for thousands of years by choice, only to be discovered very alone and afraid by the Ruby Squad, who eventually adopted her into their squad. She trains every day to be as strong as her teammates, but most importantly she is learning what love means, and that she’s deserved love all along.

Also, she can summon a huge hammer triple her size (she’s smaller than the average ruby), she’s sweet with a sassy side once the shyness disappears, and absolutely 50000000% adores @hyperhare88‘s ruby Red Rage. I learn more about Socks every day, and I look forward to sharing more about her in the future!

At any rate, I really love all of your art and I absolutely adore your Rubysona! The first time I saw her I fell in love, I was just really nervous to draw her. But I finally got around to it and decided to draw the sweetest Ruby getting kissed by two of my sweetest OCs: my Gerudo OC, Eyda Nahzun-Quartz on the left and my gem OC, Champagne Pearl on the right!

Hey everyone, I’m back!

Taking some time away did me a lot of good and I’m in a much better mindset now! 

Thanks to Bora I was struck with an awesome idea for my Rubysona’s design and I’m working on her right now and I’m excited to share her with you all! Before I had her with the Ruby Squad so her outfit was the same and it didn’t really feel like me but now I feel a much better connection! I’ll have to re-work her story but that’s part of the fun! 

While I’m not happy with how my art is now, I really want to fix that and honestly, the only one stopping myself from moving forward is me. So I’m going to start drawing more and sharing my art and I would happily accept any and all critiques! I’ll have to work on finding my style and whatnot but I’m gonna get there!

So i have put my rubysona x batim crossover into the tf2 universe bc hyperfixations & blorbos combine!!! From left to right top to bottom, red(rubysona’s) regens are: First form on homeworld, poofed and reformed in batim, poofed and reformed again in batim, casual outfit post-batim, soldier outfit post-batim, soldier outfit halfway thru tf2, and combo soldier & casual outfit in batdr. More abt this au/crossover sona thing under the cut!!

Henry is 6′1″, Allison is 5′10″, and the Borises (Tom/Thomas and Buddy/Daniel) are 5′9″. Red (rubysona’s name) is 3′, 3′6″ with her hair included. Red joined Mann Co. in order to have various crimes (committed in the name of her family from batim and in the name of her justice) covered up, and to give her family armed protection from those who would seek to hurt them bc of their inhuman forms. (Sometimes she would steal stuff for the Borises & Allison when the town they lived in was getting suspicious or mean about them, or kill people who tried to kill them.) So Red joins the team as a soldier, but goes by “Ruby” to distinguish her from Solly, and goes thru the whole comics lore with the team, slightly changing some events but the outcome being the same. Post-canon, Miss Pauling helps Helen settle her old scores before she dies, and then Allison and Tom help her take a vacation that’s more than a day. (Maybe the Pendle-Connors have been provided spy-type gear to disguise them as humans?) Henry and Daniel are able to focus fully on rebuilding their lives after the studio since the threat of the Classic mercs is gone. And Henry finds out something about Joey Drew dying, maybe goes to the funeral maybe not, and then he and Red discover ArchGate studios and its suspicious activity. Red invites the team, who’s getting a little antsy with the lack of major action, to crush new & interesting (”but kinda easy”, she admits) enemies and maybe rescue some people in the ink world/studio. Medic gets to study new types of bodies, Demo and Engie get to research pocket dimensions and make a portal, and the others get to SMASH. They enter before Allison does, but set up their portal in an abanonded or different part of the building (this is so i don’t have to rewrite Allison going into the ink world & bc i Need her to interact with the mercs) so they don’t encounter Wilson except to leer at him from shadows. Engie(to keep an eye on the portal machine & be the braincell), Pyro(to guard it & his teammates with her vigilance & their flamethrower), Scout(bc Spy psyched him out of going down there bc he’s still shaken from him almost dying), Spy(to be the other braincell & guard), and Soldier(bc if he goes with Demo their chemistry/pos will blow up the studio, & also i didn’t want to unbalance the even divide of the numbers) stay behind. Demo(bc he deserves a fun adventure & to kill or look at new nasty magical(??) creatures), Sniper(bc he seems to enjoy magic judging by his scream fortress lines, and he’s kind of a braincell), Medic(to heal them just in case and to study all these new bodies), Heavy(to be the other braincell & attack/defend against evil creatures), & Red/Ruby(to also be the braincell and be attack & guide/tell them what she learned abt the studio/ink world from her time in it & her discussions with the inky members of her family who used to live there) go in.

An idea I have. I would like to draw my Rubysona Cherry playing with a skipping rope. I am basing her of a year 1 or 2 primary school child, well more specifically based of me during year 1-2. I guess she is also similar to leggy due to both being nooby. If I go through with this, it will take me a few months as I have no experience with animation.
