MY SWEETSWEETCORABEAR I LOVE YOUR PARALLEL GIFS SO MUCH I TEARED UP 😭 I couldn't really get into Mando this season cuz it was just, well... I'll keep it to myself 😂 But after the finale & then seeing all your gifs I'm just so so happy & EMOTIONAL & everything is right again! (DIN GROGU WITH HIS PAPA HOLY MOLY 😭😭😭 The best ending I could possibly ask for the both of them)! So how did you like this season, lil bear?

i must apologize for the lateness of my response i still really don't know my opinions of this season we'll see what my brain spits out in this ramble im about to give you. but before i do - tysm for your kind words on that parallel gifset i have to props the other nonnie who requested it! I really really really like how that set turned out and i was emotional too making it🥺♥️ brings me back to the core of the show - a dad & his son traveling the galaxy.

okay.... for this season.... i have a lot of thoughts. my poor co worker who i would rant to every wednesday of my disappointments of the latest episode. shout out to you clara i know you give 0 fuqs about star wars but ty for letting me rant😌

as much as I like bo katan, the reinstatement of mandalore, the exploration of the clans... i really missed my two boys - that's what im here for their little shenanigans.

I think Din became a side character in his story - but to be fair i don't think he ever wanted to be the main character.

There were moments in this season that i really adored - grogu in the ig-12 suit made me so much happier than i expected. I think the finale was the best episode of the season, giving us in my opinion the best fight scene of the series (din + red lighting + being a bad ass OOOOF yes more of that). And the ending!!! my man can finally REST!!! He as a whole ass house - a bed, a place where grogu can play in the sun!!!! That ending was very perfect. All that said.... moments don't make the season good.

Not sure where they're heading in the future. All this "mandoverse" talk i don't really want it. I think the Mandalorian was great because it was star wars but you really didn't need to know all the other star wars lore until the introduction of luke (WHICH WAS AMAZING im not complaining) you really could just pop in and watch this space cowboy on his side quests and have a great time.

SO i guess i was let down this season :( I still really enjoy the show and will continue to watch any & all mando content. I don't want to be overly pessimistic of the season. Maybe my opinions will change over time or when I give the show another rewatch!

ok im gunna be real about my premiere review. I was extremely happy to see my main shiny man back especially seeing him being such a good dad too! but the overall episode i wasnt overly excited by - the S2 premiere & tbobf's Return of the Mandalorian I was blown away by the story but this premiere felt lacking....

I get why they kinda resolved their main plot lines in S2 & in tbobf so they have to set up more storylines to get this season going. but in the short 30min episode the whole thing felt rushed??? That pirate fight scene seemed so forced like yep we gotta bring in a new villain & that pirate king/davy jones looking guy is def coming back. I wish the episode was longer idk just we went to 3 different planets and spend <10mins at each?? If i wasnt so thrilled to see my babies again i probably would have zoned out... some episode highlights!!! I loved the scene with the anzellans, seeing din sit crisscross applesauce in that tiny garage & bad baby!! then the scene with din leaning against tree (i may have moaned). Also seeing the water droplets on his helmet! It was hot but also looked so cool, they should do it more!! also im HYPED that IG-11 may come back!! i hope that works out soon♥️

most importantly "BATHE IN THE LIVING WATERS BENEATH THE MINES OF MANDALORE" i can not wait

I'm always a tad pessimistic of sequels/prequels/spinoffs but at the same time excited over them 😂 As for what I've been watching recently? WWDITS & Good Omens are the most recent ones (and in between I've just been rewatching Supernatural 😂). I've been thinking about starting Our Flag Means Death, whaddya think?

Yea I really am excited for songbirds & snakes i was SUCHHHH a hunger games girlie back in the day OBSESSED like dutch braid in my hair everyday obsessed. I read the book back when it came out and enjoyed it more than I thought. I don't have high hopes for the movie but will still be first in line to see it 😌

samee same to rewatching spn sometimes i go there too - i cancelled prime recently so havent watched in a hot minute tho. As for OFMD I would recommend watching! I enjoyed it lots I really like pirates. I think I like wwdits better tho.

I did just finish watching The Bear which I really enjoyed. But i was blindsided i started watching after the emmy noms were released so i thought it was a comedy..... its not... but its a lovely show.

Because I'm not watching a new show atm I'm mostly rewatching things. I religiously rewatch How I Met Your Mother... that's like my comfort sitcom. I also just rewatched The Queen's Gambit - Ive seen it so many times and I truly binge the whole show in 1-2 days. Also in preparation for The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes I'm rewatching The Hunger Games series.

I think I'm just going to wait here rewatching comfort shows until ofmd s2 comes out 😌 I've been told by many to watch good omens (its what i need to complete the trifecta) so possibly I'll start that.

MY SWEETSWEET CORABEAR I WANNA KNOW WHAT YOU THINK OF TLOU'S 1ST EP (without any spoilers of course cuz I haven't seen it asdfghjkl BUT I WILL TONIGHT). Tell me all & don't spare any detaaailllsssssssss!!!!!!!!!

SWEET NONNIE!!! THE EPISODE WAS FANTASTICCCCCC. Its been a few days since you sent this so i assumed you watched it? (im adding this line in hindsight cuz i already wrote most of the stuff below and lol i spoiled stuff...)

first of all not like this was the main deal but like... maybe it was but pedro looked so fucking good???????????!?!??! He would be giving some serious scene or just casually standing and I was constantly thinking this is the best he's ever looked. As soon as I heard his voice I was SOLD.

I have not finished the game - i honestly did not make it very far.... (prob after episode 2 i wont know whats coming) the scenes i did know were ridiculously spot on!!!! During one scene I could pin point when I died while playing. Also the plane crash was insane!!! love that hbo good money.

I SOBBBBED during the sarah scene... I knew it was coming i was anticipating the moments but the tears still hurt as bad as the first time watching it. I was itching to see how pedro would perform during the scene, both he & nico killed it!! (also not to like side track but.... pedros arm....... okay :eyes:)

Then we got to the 20 year cut and THE GREYSSS. silver fox 10000% god. Then he had to go and walk in the rain & SLICK BACK his perfect hair...... [redacted] [redacted] There were little moments like when he leaned his arm against a shelf - pedro knew he looked good.

Bella was also spectacular! When Ellie & Joel met for the first time - well one i cackled when he yeeted her into a wall. But the little glances they gave each other- like when ellie reached for the knife and joel/pedro raised his eyebrow like "is this kid serious rn" perfection i cant wait to see more of their chemistry later on!!!

A fantastic fantastic premiere! I'm coming in really as an outsider to this series and I can already understand why its so so loved. I'm counting the minutes until episode 2!!!!!! I hope you had similar reaction to it too!

I love how it's just such an overall feel good show that doesn't even have (well not really, if you think about it) any villains? It's warm & sweet & don't you think? Like take away all the sport & comedy stuff it's really just teaching us all how to be kind & loving towards others & I really love that :(((

I did just start - but im almost done season 1 (did a big binge over the weekend). My favourite character so far is dani rojas - hes just a big bundle of joy his excitement for the sport makes me SO HAPPY! FOOTBALL IS LIFE.

idk why it took me so long to watch this show i knew i would like it - i played soccer (rip sorry canadian...) competitively until basically the pandemic hit and watching the show I MISS IT SO MUCH😭 i need to find a league to play for but men r gross & scary and womens sports are so limited🥲
