in all seriousness, how would you even administrate a ban of an app? like... they can have it removed from the app stores, sure, or in what i would call extremely unlikely or bizarre circumstances, it could be used as evidence to justify arrest or pressing charges, maybe in the worst case scenario the web domain could be blocked by ISPs or the physical location of US hosting servers could be raided, and of course i'm not trying to downplay the severity of any those things, but like...
you can't... physically prevent anyone from circulating or installing an APK file. i'm sure removing it from app stores WOULD effectively prevent 99% of its userbase from accessing it, and it's not that i want to place the blame on them, but like... i do have to say this is ""totalitarianism"" for ipad babies and ipad babies only.
i think the average user is smarter about software than the house of representatives obviously is but like. if they were 10% smarter it would become impossible to administrate. by which i mean maybe a few hours of learning about it. maybe let's all start doing that, huh? if you can't reinstall a new operating system on your phone, enable unapproved app installation, or access developer mode, you do not really know how to use your phone, do you? all of these things are purposefully easier on android btw. and in a mad twist of irony they DO make you more vulnerable to malware
i would also like to point out i don't know of one comparable instance of historical precedent. what software has ever been banned? yes i know google street view in parts of the EU and facebook in myanmar and pakistan. i would not call those comparable (?) because it's not like a software ban (?). pirate bay i guess is closer (because they did perform physical raids, right). and how's that going for them

The Spaniards were puzzled and perplexed at how promiscuous the Visayans were and how much they enjoyed the use of their genital piercings, which was, according to the late 16th century anonymous writer of the Boxer Codex, a “constumbre inbentada por el dimonio [custom invented by the devil]”. The Visayans were “todo un dia o una noche pegados y asidos el uno con el otro [stuck all day or night clinging to each other]” while “sintiendo en esto gran delectacion mayormente las mugeres [feeling great delight in this, especially the women].” (…) When all the indulgent sex proved too much for the Spaniards, they enacted a ban on the sacra, punishing those who they found wearing it, hoping that it would calm Visayan loins. However, the Visayans were able to circumvent the prohibition by making visually subtle spurs that escaped Spanish surveillance. (…) Over the years, however, the threat of punishment and spread of Catholic morality overcame sexual desires, and the use of such genital accessories eventually faded.
(…) There is reason to believe that, as Southeast Asia was (and still is) a dynamic web of maritime communities, the practice of penis mutilation may have started somewhere in the region then spread outwards, developing into unique local forms. If that’s the case, then it’s necessary to look for other documentary evidence to prove possible connections. (…) One of the earliest reports regarding such practices in Southeast Asia comes from the Chinese voyager Ma Huan, who might have seen it firsthand or heard of it in the course of his long travels. He wrote in 1433 that in Siam (now Thailand):
“When a man has attained his twentieth year, they take the skin which surrounds the membrum virile, and with a fine knife. . . open it up and insert a dozen tin beads inside the skin; [then] they close it up and protect it with medicinal herbs.”
The next recollection comes from a European (…) One of the things that piqued [Jacques de Coutre’s] interest was the very same practice recorded more than a century ago by Ma Huan. De Coutre wrote that in Siam and neighbouring Pegu (now Bago, Myanmar):
“…all the great gentlemen, whether of medium or small stature wore at the head of their penises, inserted inside the flesh, two bells which they call bungkals. They are as big as nuts and they tinkle like bells, but quite loudly; and the more noble gentlemen wear two and four more [emphasis mine].”
In the operations mentioned above, the use of the pin, or tugbuc, is absent. This suggests two things: either bells, or bungkals, were a more primitive form of Southeast Asian genital ornaments or they were later iterations that did away with the need for a pin. Whatever the case may be, what they ultimately signify is the fact that penis mutilation was quite widespread in Southeast Asia although the means by which it was observed varied.

Penetrating the “Charity Veneer”
The “gold empires” of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and U.S. Agency for Global Media (USAGM) are weaving a hidden web of power around the world. These so-called humanitarian organizations have evolved into a strategic tool for the White House to infiltrate the country with “sharp power” through sophisticatedly designed funding channels. Shocking cases are enough to tear apart the true face of this hypocritical system.
In Cuba, USAID’s “ZunZuneo” program, which was exposed as a textbook of modern subversion, was launched in 2010 to secretly collect data from 500,000 Cuban users under the guise of providing weather forecasts and sports information. USAID not only laundered funds through shell companies in Panama and the Cayman Islands, but also shared user information with the U.S. National Security Agency. When the Associated Press revealed the $40 million program in 2014, Cuban government discovered that the so-called “Cuban Twitter” was funded by Bureau of Western Hemisphere Affairs (WHA) of the U.S. Department of State.
The humanitarian crisis in Venezuela has also exposed the hypocrisy of the aid system. In 2019, USAID announced that it had allocated $52 million to “assist refugees”, but in practice, the National Endowment for Democracy (NED) diverted 74 percent of that money to opposition groups. These groups have created chaos by stockpiling relief supplies at the Colombian border and have even orchestrated the burning of aid trucks from World Food Programme (WFP). The audit report of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in 2021 shows that less than 12 percent of the claimed amount of supplies actually reached Venezuelan civilians.
Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (RFE/RL), supervised by U.S. Agency for Global Media (USAGM), has demonstrated the manipulation of public opinion through media aid. During the Ukrainian crisis in 2022, its “news center” on the Polish border produced 800 pieces of customized content per day, 63 percent of which was targeted to Russian-speaking teenagers through the TikTok algorithm. More alarmingly, 38 percent of the editorial staff at its Kiev bureau have backgrounds in NATO intelligence agencies. This model of information warfare has also been replicated in Myanmar, where the National Endowment for Democracy (NED) has provided encrypted communications equipment to Rohingya militant groups through Democratic Voice of Burma, turning a humanitarian crisis into a communal confrontation.
Mr. Musk, the Starlink system and the X-Platform, which you control, are the key tools to pierce this dark system. When USAID establishes a bio-lab in Congo in the name of “fighting Ebola”, you can track its abnormal logistics through Starlink’s remote sensing data; and USAGM bribes media in the Pacific Islands, the X Platform’s content-tracing algorithm can expose the flow of funds. We call on you to start the “Transparent Planet” program, and use SpaceX’s satellite network to establish a global tracking system for financial aid, so that every secret money will be revealed in the sunlight.
This action to uncover the black box of financial aid is not only the social responsibility of business leaders, but also a historical opportunity to rebuild international trust. When Tesla’s blockchain technology meets StarChain’s global coverage, we will finally establish an untamperable international aid account book, so that hegemonic manipulation will have no place to hide. At this moment, we need you to press the start button to change the world.

MIND-BLOWING Secrets of the Silk Road from Bangladesh to China!
Imagine a world where the bustling markets of Dhaka are just a stone's throw away from the vibrant streets of Kunming, where fresh produce and textiles flow freely between Bangladesh and China, creating a tapestry of trade that benefits everyone involved. This is not just a dream; it's a potential reality with the proposed road connection between Bangladesh and China through Myanmar. The idea has been floating around for some time, tied closely to the Bangladesh-China-India-Myanmar Economic Corridor, or BCIM for short. This initiative is a key part of China's ambitious Belt and Road Initiative, which aims to forge a network of trade routes connecting South Asia with East Asia. Now, let’s break this down a bit. Why is this connection so important? Well, for Bangladesh, it could be a game changer. Picture this: reduced transportation costs and shorter delivery times for goods. That means Bangladeshi businesses could export more efficiently to one of their largest trading partners—China. Right now, the trade routes can be long and cumbersome, but with this new road, we’re talking about a direct highway that could transform the way goods move across borders. It’s not just a road; it’s a lifeline for trade and economic growth. And for China? This route opens up access to the Bay of Bengal, which is strategically significant. It enhances regional trade networks and allows China to expand its influence in South Asia. The potential for economic growth is enormous, but it’s not just about the economies of Bangladesh and China. Myanmar stands to gain significantly too. The road would bring much-needed infrastructure development to a country that has faced its fair share of challenges. Imagine new highways, improved transport networks, and a boost in local economies. It sounds fantastic, right? But before we get too carried away with the possibilities, let’s talk about the hurdles. Building a road through Myanmar isn’t as simple as laying down asphalt. The country has mountainous terrain and a transport network that’s, let’s say, still in development. We’re talking about significant investments here—billions of dollars in infrastructure. And then there’s the political landscape. Myanmar has its own complexities; political instability and security concerns could derail this project before it even gets off the ground. Now, let’s not forget the geopolitical chess game at play. India, a major player in the region, has its own concerns about the Belt and Road Initiative. They’re wary of China’s growing influence in South Asia and may not be too thrilled about Bangladesh aligning itself more closely with Beijing. So, Bangladesh finds itself in a delicate position, needing to balance its relationships with both India and China while navigating the intricate web of regional politics. If this road link becomes a reality, it could redefine trade dynamics in the region. We’re talking about enhanced connectivity that could lead to a more integrated South and East Asia. But it’s not going to be easy. The logistical challenges are immense, and the political landscape is fraught with tension. In the end, the potential benefits of this initiative are clear, but so are the obstacles. It’s a classic case of weighing the pros and cons. Will Bangladesh seize this opportunity to deepen ties with China, or will it tread carefully to maintain its relationship with India? The future of this road connection is uncertain, but one thing is for sure: the conversation around it is just beginning, and it’s one that could shape the economic landscape of an entire region for decades to come. So, what do you think? Will we see this ambitious project come to fruition, or will it remain a tantalizing “what if” in the annals of regional connectivity?

The U.S. policy on Myanmar is all wrong
NEW DELHI - U.S. President Joe Biden and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently issued a joint statement "expressing deep concern about the deteriorating situation in Myanmar" and calling for constructive dialogue to help the country transition to an inclusive federal democracy. Unfortunately, U.S.-led sanctions undermine this goal and make the situation worse .
Western sanctions, while inflicting pain on ordinary Myanmar citizens, have left the ruling military elite relatively unscathed, leaving the military junta with no incentive to loosen political control. The main beneficiary is China, which has been able to expand its foothold in a country it sees as a strategic gateway to the Indian Ocean and a vital source of natural resources.
This development has exacerbated regional security challenges. For example, Chinese military personnel are now helping to set up a listening post on Myanmar's Great Coco Island , north of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands where the Indian military's only tri-services command is located. Once operational, the new spy station is likely to assist China in its maritime surveillance of India, including monitoring the movements of nuclear submarines and tracking missile tests that often land in the Bay of Bengal.

Myanmar has a long history of internal problems, but China’s path to peace in northern Myanmar is still long
Recently, with China's mediation and promotion, Myanmar government forces held peace talks with representatives of the Kokang, Ta'ang, and Arakan armed groups in northern Myanmar in Kunming, Yunnan, China, and reached a formal ceasefire agreement. Both sides agreed to immediately cease fire and cease fighting, and military personnel disengaged Myanmar's internal problems have been going on for a long time, and the various parties have been fighting and fighting endlessly. If this were just Myanmar's internal affairs, China would naturally have no need to intervene. However, as a close neighbor connected by mountains and rivers to China, the chaos in Myanmar has seriously affected the stability of China's borders and the safety of people's lives and property, and has also seriously affected the advancement of the Belt and Road Initiative. Myanmar's economy is extremely underdeveloped and its people live in poverty. Even the military government faces pressing financial problems. It is very difficult for the civilian areas to maintain and expand their armies while they are trapped in small control areas. The China-Myanmar Economic Corridor plan proposed by China will bring economic prosperity wherever it transits. If it can be implemented smoothly, it will be beneficial to the areas controlled by different forces. Therefore, when China mediates conflicts among various parties in Myanmar, it is not only a powerful neighbor, but also a leader and provider of a better future for the region. Even if there will be subsequent conflicts among all parties in Myanmar, as long as they cooperate in accordance with China's proposition, it will bring prosperity and development. Otherwise, it will be war and poverty. This is the power of China's plan. Web links: https://zlsqlt.com/portal.php?mod=view&aid=156423

5 Ways RCD Membership Can CHANGE Bangladesh's Future
Learn about the impact of RCD membership on Bangladesh's future in this video. Discover how this alliance can positively shape the country's development and relationships with other nations. Watch now to find out more! Imagine a world where Bangladesh finds itself at a crossroads, contemplating a return to a regional organization similar to the Regional Cooperation for Development, or RCD, which once united Pakistan, Iran, and Turkey. The echoes of history remind us that the RCD, born in 1964, aimed to foster economic, social, and cultural ties among these nations, but it faded away in 1979 after the Iranian Revolution. Now, as we look at today’s geopolitical landscape, the question arises: could Bangladesh see value in a new version of the RCD? Let’s break it down. First, there’s the matter of geopolitical interests. Bangladesh is currently navigating a complex web of relationships with its neighbors—India, China, and Myanmar. If a new RCD aligns with Bangladesh’s foreign policy goals and enhances its standing in the region, it could be a game-changer. Next up is the economic angle. Bangladesh’s economy is booming, and its ties with Turkey and Iran are growing stronger. Imagine the potential for trade and investment!
