New house for the little guy ❤️ substrate is topsoil, cocofiber, and spag moss so it retains moisture. On top I put more spag moss, some cork bark, and two chunks of live moss! Added springtails as well so technically I guess this is a bioactive tank lol.

My new buddy is here! A flag tailed centipede (Alipes multicostis)! He was delivered to me in a glass mason jar lol, I'll be rehousing him later into something nicer.. but for now he gets a mealworm to snack on ❤️

i did some other rehousings too when i rehoused my new sling, and i took a picture of my whip scorpion, i feel like i haven't posted him in a while! so there he is too :)

my little expo haul 💕 i got a baby chinese mantis, a female orange regal jumping spider, and the one tarantula i was hoping to find.. an avicularia juruensis (formerly known as avicularia sp. peru purple)!! i also got two enclosures, the house shaped one is for the jumper and the other one is for the avic :) still so psyched we have tarantula cribs in canada now!

the avic is still in the pink legs + black feet baby phase which is my favourite!! looks like she just molted too.. also i'm soo happy i have a jumping spider again!!! and a mantis!! both of them big enough where they're not on fruit flies anymore, so i'm happy about that lol.

the expo was super fun. suuuper packed though, that was by far the busiest expo i've been to. i didn't end up taking any pictures, there were just soo many people lol i basically only really visited the invert tables

Look who molted!! Scorpo's baby!! I don't think I've posted about it but I finally named her.. her name is Skorupi 🦂 (after a scorpion pokemon lol)

She's still doing well. Growing slowly. Still unsure if she was a partho baby or if scorpo was wild caught and retained sperm for almost 2 years (which seems too long imo?)

Rehoused my E. campestratus today. Her name is Coco. She let me hold her for a little bit 🥺 didn't bolt or kick hairs at all during the rehouse.. she's so docile and sweet ❤️ I've had her for 1 year and 3 months now.. she was a tiny 1/2" sling when I got her!
