currently watching: Nothing at the moment. The last thing I watched was most of Queen Charlotte. I decided to save the last episode for later for some reason and then Netflix did it's "no more using your friends' accounts" thing. I suppose I could just drive over there and try logging in on my phone or laptop, lol. (I have Hulu, Prime and Disney+ and also Max with my phone plan and yet...)

currently reading: Uh, bookwise still in the middle of Tiamat's Wrath.😅. As for fics, I read that you trust your lips against mine (as our hearts beat a third echo) today (Stiles/Twins one-shot) and started some of the many Sterek stories I had in open tabs: I've Lived a Better Day, A Supernatural Conservation Clinic's Mission, and Are You Ready? First chapters only cuz Ao3 is down.

current obsession: Hmm...other than fanfic I'd say the song Roscoe and making mead (I want to do it again soon!)

7 Comfort Movies

I was tagged by @mylifestiles.

In no particular order:

1. Empire Records (1995)

“What’s with today, today?” I don’t remember when I first saw this (I think it was some years after it came out,) but it’s one of my favorites. Friends and co-workers having an especially eventful day at a music store.

2. Saved! (2004)

Funny and irreverent and heartfelt. So many great quotes. “I am filled with Christ’s love!” *Throws a bible at someone*

3. Almost Famous (2000)

Wonder, snark, life lessons, vibes, rock n’ roll. The Tiny Dancer scene. 

4. Twister (1996)

A classic. I end up thinking about this movie more often than I would’ve ever imagined. “Cow!”

5. The Lion King (1994)

I remember seeing this in the theater. My brother and I loved this movie and had posters. My mom did too and she would play the soundtrack all the time and we’d all sing together. Lots of good memories watching it at home and watching my brother play the Nintendo game.

6. Garden State (2004)

I saw this a ridiculous amount of times in the theater with different friends. I was at an age where it felt particularly relevant and relatable. The soundtrack, the shots and cinematography, the feeling of it all. A time.

7. The Martian (2015)

Idk, it just makes me happy and I’ll always watch it if it’s on. (I have the dvd too.) A science-y feel good survival movie.
