went with my boy Dustin for this challenge, and broke my own heart by doing so? like seeing him age like this really gives you a glimpse into his life. the happier he’s gotten over time, healing himself. ughhhhh i love him so much. baby dusty is so freakin’ cute tho omg. also a spoiler of what an older dusty will look like!

I choose the goth family™ and made them inspired by their different iterations in the different sims games. tbh the timeline (ts3-?- ts1- ts4- ts2) is kinda weird (especially if you are trying to squeeze in ts4 and teens), thats why alexander is a teen in the last pic (I also really wanted to give him black nail polish lol) you can take a closer look at the different frames alone under the cut!

Tagged by @dynastiasimss, thank you hon.  It's been a while since I did anything with my Ultimate Sim, Ben Wells, but I've got the most life-stage images of him (originally wanted to go with his alien son, but when I went looking for images, I had... nothing of Peter as a toddler, which is Just Wrong).

Anyway, here’s an overview of Ben’s life:

#MySimThroughTheYears Challenge - Abel Edition

I saw this challenge on my dash and it looked so cool! So I decided to do it even though I wasn’t tagged or anything. It’s a great  thing to do for sims who are only seen as adults. That’s why I decided to do this for Abel and Izzy, my generation one babies whose lives before adulthood are only ever mentioned and not actually seen. I also thought I would add some things about their lives before the events of When the Bell Tolls.

I had so much fun with even though I spent many hours on looks that will never be seen in my legacy.

Each picture represents Abel at a different age. Under the cut, I’ll have some some extra stuff about the way he was at those ages!

Top Left - Age 4: Abel was always a bit of a trouble-maker in pre-school. He knew his teacher complained about him and raved about Adrien, but he didn’t care. He was especially drawn to instruments and made his own music whenever he possibly could.

Top Middle - Age 9: Abel was a typical kid. He was happy, but he was also known to explode with anger. Slamming doors, screaming, hitting walls. Just about anything would frustrate him.

Top Right - Age 12: Abel’s anger started to get out of control around the time he went through puberty. He had always had a temper, but it was starting to get to the point where he was picking fights in the school yard. He once broke another kid’s nose and was suspended for two weeks.

Middle Left - Age 15: This is when Abel formed Red Wing with three of his closest friends. He was the singer and songwriter and was determined to make it big. This was also a time when he was constantly getting into fights. He always came home with a bruised face and bleeding lip. His anger was getting more and more out of control and the only way he knew to deal with it was by hitting things and other people.

Middle Middle - Age 16: Abel was still getting into fights left and right. He cared more about Red Wing than school and was passing by the skin of his teeth. He only did okay because Adrien helped him out. He just didn’t care about school. But then he met Izzy. She was odd and not usually the kind of girl he glanced twice at, but she caught his attention and he started getting into less and less fights when Izzy became one of his best friends in the world. His grades even went up to Cs.

Middle Right - Age 18: Red Wing was offered a contract in Japan that Abel was more than happy to take. As soon as he “graduated” high school, he and his bandmates were on a plane across the world. He left Izzy after she told him it was okay to go and pursue his dreams. He had no idea she was so lonely without him. And, in a way, he was lonely without her, too.

Bottom Left - Age 21: After some success in Japan, Abel changed his image by dying his hair pitch black. It washed out his face a bit, but it gave Red Wing a gothic rock style that a lot of fans seemed to like. He rocked the black hair until it completely grew out and he chopped the black ends off. During this time, all of his focus was on his rock band and their success. He seldom talked to anyone back home.

Bottom Middle - Age 24: At this point, Abel is still very serious about Red Wing and they’re getting more and more popular in Japan and all of Asia. But now, between writing songs, he started reaching out to Adrien again because he was beginning to feel homesick.

Bottom Right - Age 27: CURRENT.

So since the(two) sims I’ve posted here never had an IG childhood I decided to make this challenge for them. First out is my girl Claire Jenkins(thought she goes by Donnelly these days)

Notorious for being a tomboy who rarely dressed in feminine clothes before meeting and marrying her husband. She did however go through a bit of a girly phase where she experimented with lip gloss and blush. A way to not turn to much attention towards her braces, She also tried out a bit of a goth/emo phase during high school.

Today the mother to be has landed in a more feminine look but still enjoys a good pair of cargo pants and usually borrows her husbands plaid shirts on a daily basis..

I saw this somewhere (think it was either on @simtrospective or @fataleromeo ‘s page) so tagged myself :3 And I tag everyone by tagging no one so no one have to feel pressured :D

As you probably already saw, I did Florian and Sophie next to each other. 

Oh and I just saw that it might be confusing but this shot at the grave is when Sophie’s mum died, not her dad. 

Sophie’s always been more of a outsider/loner. She’s definitely an introvert even though she’s very self-confident nowadays. Florian grew up in a more sheltered home and was kind of a popular kid in school. I know I said I could make some throwbacks but I didn’t have quite the inspiration for it yet, but you can ask me anything about their past.

Katlyn and Lauren Canfield might be my two favorite sims ever, so this was a great opportunity to give their younger selves a maxis match makeover.  Sometimes I forget Lauren doesn’t have naturally blue-green hair lol  Also, I forgot how pretty baby-faced teen Katlyn is 😍
