I can’t get over how cute and cool the currency is in #CostaRica! It definitely beats out the look of the American dollar, haha. I had to bring back colónes for my niece and family! As I was wandering through the cloud forest in Costa Rica known as Monte Verde, I couldn’t stop thinking about my favorite Anthony Bourdain quote, “Travel is about the gorgeous feeling of teetering into the unknown”. It’s truly exhilarating being in such a beautiful place full of so much unknown. Monte Verde is home to over 100 species of mammals, 400 species of birds, 120 species of amphibians and thousands of different plants and flowers. No sloth sightings at Monte Verde but I had a great time walking through the cloud forest and crossing this iconic suspension bridge. After an epic journey through a gigantic mall in the middle of Berlin, we finally arrived to a rooftop beer garden called Klunkerkranich. For €3 you can experience an epic 360 degree view of Berlin, listen to live Japanese pop bands, eat delicious baked nachos (every night is nacho night) and drink €1 beers & €2 shots.
