Oh boy, someone made another stupid take on CodeGold and me, being the only vocal sane CodeGold "fan" has to talk about it.
Just gonna say right now, Juzi and CodeGold are completely different. Don't compare the two. That's really all I had to say about that confession, it just riled me up so I'm gonna ramble here a bunch.
So, question here, am I a horrible person for shipping CodeGold in an AU where J isn't abusive to N. Not even a major personality shift, maybe one or two little things changed but plenty of people have done that to plenty of characters. And J herself doesn't exactly have much of one anyways due to her limited screen time so you have to fill in the gaps either way.
Am I a proshipper, because I enjoy a ship that's normally a proship in a non proship situation? If I condemn the fics where N is like "step on me mommy" to J, or condemn fics where J hits him and he continues to love her?
And I know someone will say "Making an entire AU for it doesn't justify it." Then what about personality swap AUs? One where N gets V's personality, V gets J's, and J gets N's. Then it'd basically be Envy, right? What's wrong with it then? If there's elements outside the CodeGold, is it justified?
And then that's the next question, why is CodeGold condemned while Envy isn't? V is still quite abusive to N, even if not as harshly and with better intentions. And the answer to this is probably "V has shown she's changing for the better" But J hasn't had a chance to show that. Outside ep 1, her only actual character moments were in ep 6 and 7 and she only insults N once with a pretty tame insult all things considered. Now I know, in the pilot J says she'd kill N. And to be honest, I don't blame anyone for using that one line as justification for shipping Envy and not CodeGold. Still, I'd like people to understand that V hurt N a lot too. And this is coming from someone who enjoys Nuziv and the occasional standalone Envy content.
Next thing up, why should me making slight changes to J's character to make shipping her with N not a proship be made invalid? Plenty of fics make small changes to the characters in order to tell the story they want to tell. Why should it be any different in this case? And I know people out there will say "Just make an OC." Right, so I should make an OC that looks exactly like J, acts like J 95% of the time, and take J's place in the story, rather than just change J ever so slightly. Makes sense to me, honestly not sure why I didn't think about doing that. I say that sarcastically but that's only because it's something that genuinely irks me. I apologize if I offend anyone by doing that.
The reason I bring this up is because while I wouldn't really label myself a CodeGold shipper nor fan, I still enjoy the occasional cute art or well written fic of it. But the only reason I like that art or the fics is because J isn't some abusive asshole and does actually like N. And often times, J is pretty well exactly like her canon counterpart, aside not saying she'd kill N. But I could never say that because the moment I do, I'm lumped in with all the Cyncest redditors, the Khan x Uzi people, and god forbid the idiots who think Nuzi is a proship and enjoy it because of that. All of those disgust me, and I feel me shipping CodeGold in a way in which it's not a proship should not condemn me to that fate.
I'm not saying CodeGold isn't a proship. If you just ship it directly with how canon is, it is a proship. No doubts about it. And there are some disgusting people out there who enjoy that dynamic, and I. Am. Not. One. Of. Those. People.
Generally things like this don't disgust me, but non-con and abusive relationships just...do not sit right with me. Incest is disgusting too, but it just doesn't affect me nearly in the same way. So being lumped in with those people despite how I ship CodeGold just...makes me feel dirty.
And the biggest thing, CodeGold is hardly part of who I am. I know most of you will probably know me from my J confessions and CodeGold confessions, but neither are even a particularly big part of my attachment to Murder Drones, ESPECIALLY CodeGold.
I like J, don't get me wrong. I think she's an endlessly fascinating character. But Uzi, N, V, Lizzy, Thad, Sam, and Emily are all characters I engage with as a fan far more than I do with J. And two of them are the camp kids from ep 4 that die.
Just please, don't throw people like me into the pits of Hell because of how other disgusting people ship something like this. This isn't like Cyn x N where it's a proship no matter how you do it. CodeGold is a proship due to the history between N and J, and history is something that can be changed. I mean, technically I guess you could make Cyn and N not related in an AU, but that feels a whole lot different than making some minor tweaks to J's character and her history with N. Maybe that sounds hypocritical, that's just what if feels like to me.
I have friends who also enjoy CodeGold, but have told me about CodeGold stuff they dislike. They dislike the "mommy step on me" stuff like I do, they dislike fics where N is abused by J but it's still CodeGold. They're good people. I know that's a rare thing from CodeGold shippers, many of them are idiots and terrible people. Like a certain someone who said Nuzi is toxic and yet ships CodeGold of all things. I'm sure you know who I'm talking about.
I'm not one of those idiots. I sometimes say questionable stuff, or do questionable things. But I'm not an idiot and I wouldn't consider myself a bad person. And I don't think I should be defined as such because I like CodeGold stuff where it's not abusive and thus not a proship, when I have so many other things that define me. I really should show that more by making confessions not related to J or CodeGold but the whole point behind me using anonymous and having a signature was because I knew talking about this stuff would get me lynched. Understandable though with my first confession because I was just plain fucking wrong with some of the shit I said. J isn't an abuser my ass, seriously. What was I thinking saying that?
and one last thing. You can still dislike CodeGold after this. That is perfectly reasonable. I just ask that we could be friends still if we met, or at the very least you don't just immediately block me and see me as a horrible person.
With that all said, I leave you all once again by wishing you all a good day, evening, or night. (also sorry for making you read through all that, admin. I hope it doesn't cause you too much stress)

OMG hi…I really like your art and was wondering if you wanna be mutuals??????????? Also tell me about your MD ships :3c
honey we are dating- .....okay yknow what- HI PRETTY & TALENTED LADY- yess i will absolutely love toooo 🙈💕💕💕💕💕
also lets see uhhh okay this is an excuse for me to just... expload-
keep in mind not every ship is meant for all of you so dont badger me about stuff that ISNT CANON or YOU DONT SHIP. contrary to whatever you believe, when somone posts about THEIR ships, nobody wants to hear about you NOT shipping it on THAT EXACT post.
hang in there, this gon be a long one >:p
First off we are starting strong with Nuzi- Biscuitbites obviously thats a given- these two just have too much to be said about why and how they make eachother the best version of eachother, whether they ever became canon or not- they fit like puzzle pieces- they lessen eachothers negative traits by being their for eachother.
next is Vuzi- Violentviolet, they are my favorite kind of enemies to lovers 😔 but its also tragic smh. kinda pissed off at how V always does something good in Uzis favor only when she is LITERALLY PASSED OUT- either in the camp ep on the bus or in Alices lab. like damn ofFUCKINGcourse Uzi wouldnt know she cares about her 😭😭😭
envuzi- Violentbitingbiscuits, i love these goobers with all my heart- they deserve the best 😔💕💕💕💕
envy - [does this poor ship just NOT have an exclusive FINDABLE tag name??? im calling them GoldenMemories...], i like to think that if they were in the manor still, and nothing bad had ever happened, these two would be comforting eachother in the healthiest way possible. V needs someone like N and N is just adorable like that uwu
Next we have JxTessa/Jessa- [calling them Fancyblades cuz why not-] J deserves some closure for the shit shes gone through smhhh 😔, its a tragic yuri of J loving and wanting something she probably already accepted she couldnt have, and even then she gotta deal with Ns ass being the favorite one regardless of how hard she tries to be perfect... sighhh i wanna imagine them in a future where Tessa was spared as the only human and J could save her 😭😭😭😭 Tessa might have loved doing mechanical stuff or wore black to hide grease/oil stains on her clothes from her parents and wore gloves to hide her oily stained hands- i want her to have a scene of wiring drones back to life and saving them and saying something like "hey there, you made it! dont worry, ill take care of you, youre my friend now :3" or something //dies//, also before anyone says it- even if Tessa was a teen in the flashbacks- romance is not exclusive to ADULTS, teens can love eachother without having sexual stuff involved. no she was not their MOTHER figure, she was their FRIEND who liked to fix robots for herself to not be alone in a house where her own parents literally chain her up as punishment. i dont even know why im arguing about this, people headcanon or make aus about characters NOT being dead all the time and if Tessa was alive for as long as J thought she was, Tessa would have been a perfectly fine adult either way. so counting this, yes shes canonically considered an adult when Cyn tries to imitate an adult humans body 🙄 makes as much sense as everything else i guess-
next ones i got is NorixYeva/Neva- Solverlilies- i just think theyre neat 😭😭😭 and once again, like everything else in this franchise- they are tragic yuris 😔 damn liam im finding a pattern over here 🤨 anyway, i like to think they either got closer in the lab experimentations or were already close when they were working as WDs in the campsite area for the humans. obviously canonically they were probably straight or just not into eachother romantically- [Nori either u have the worst taste men or Khan just fucking lost it after you died-] but also on the other handddd.... they have 2 hands and they are robots, i want them to kiss like two barbie dolls and im gonna make them do just that-
DollxLizzy/Dizzy- Bloodypink, wost fucking ship names ever, i cant find shit on them with these tags and it makes me angry >:/ at this point 2/3s of my ships are just tragic yuris smh, Doll did not deserve any of the things handed to her, even if she went about doing some things the wrong way i wish Lizzy didnt just abandon her- but then again, Doll did kinda abuse Lizzys trust and Lizzy got scared of being close to a serial murderer so.... morality calls this a draw? 😭 im crying... i wish someone was there to help Doll... sigh... i like to think Lizzy would have waited for Doll to just come back at some point... oh well, thats why AUs exist :"3 //sobs in the corner//
DollxUzi/Dollzi- Bloodybats, this ship is so underrated to me... they could have been... so much more. but why weren't they? did Yeva abandon ever getting close to Uzi when she was a kid after Nori died? did Uzi and Doll just never play around together as kids when their mothers were so close? were they ever close and something went wrong as they grew older? at worst they could have been like sisters together, and at best maybe more than friends. i just dont know what happened here, like Yeva could have tried to keep an eye on Uzi, maybe Uzi could have found Dolls powers so cool before having them too- i dont know theres literally tons of possibilities- but if Doll deserved to be saved or cared for by anyone, at least one of them should have been Uzi... sigh.
ThadxV- Killingblonde, yall this is... the cutest shit... ever???? like from here on out we kinda go into the more or less crackship territory but these two are adorable- Dumbass yet wholesome jock boy that just wants to keep his queen happy 😔👌👌👌 He and Uzi would have so much to talk about on "crushing on literal murder bots that stabbed and almost ate us" its literally love at first stab smhhh 😫💕
ThadxSam- Smokyjock ???? for some fucking reason??? i dont know what my brain did here man- i just like the trope of someone getting under Thads skin- like pair up the healthy sports loving gym boy with the lazy but wholesome dumbass that does drugs or is always just sleep deprived and Thad is always trying to just... take care of his ass and make him take care of himself but he just WONT SMHHH-
okay some more or less crack ships down here:
ThadxN: it speaks for itself. its too adorable and youll go blind from the light of wholesomeness-
ThadxNxUzi: Uzi will die here from the overwhelming wholesomeness... oh bonus if its just a 4s polycule of ThadxNxUzixV i mean i know im pushing my luck but.... random crackships go brr- V and Uzi will complain but love their dumbass golden puppy partners-
ThadxUzi: i think they could have been close and Thad caring about her as a childhood friend turned crush sounds just too cute for me 😔
LizzyxUzi: another random ass rivals to lovers or some shit idk what this is, Lizzy would pay Uzi to kiss the fuck out of her i dont make the rules-
ThadxLizzy: in some cases where they are NOT headcanoned as siblings or cousins, i think they have a good energy of wholesome jock bf and girly queen cheerleader lol, Thad is just a good bf eitherway-
DollxUzixLizzy: the gals would not leave a single second of silence for the small gremlin i swear to God- [Uzi is gay as FUCK for her gfs, absolute girloser unit with her gorgeous but crazy gfs]
okay for the end i have some characters that arent ships but i wish they could have become closer as friends or work out their issues...
J and N- too much abuse and toxicity here, i wish they could talk together more and see they have a lot of things in common- maybe a full line of dialogue from J without threatning N in every sense of the manner would be nice for a change =_=
Doll and V- again, a bit morally ambiguous to ship a character with the murderer of your family, esp when said murderer hasnt expressed regret lmao, but i wish they could at least be friends... Dolls disdain for the murder drones pushed her to end up the way she did. maybe if she didnt do it alone she would have been alive by now. so i like to think what would have happened if she and V could have made up- not necessarily Doll forgiving her- but at least having the space to grow and understand why they did they things that happened.
Cyn and literally ANYONE- i want the solver to be SEPARATE from Cyn- i wish Cyn would have still existed somewhere down there and was savable- i wish this poor child AI had a happy ending to her by connecting with the others as ACTUAL siblings... goddamnit 😔
aaaand thats it for this fine ass day 🫡 yall are welcome to ask about any of these- boy the tags are gonna be.... a lot.

"Doll had no character arc"
"Her death was meaningless"
"We know nothing about her"
That is false.
This is a response to a post of user @rad10active-ketchup regarding (spoiler) Doll's death in the new episode of Murder drones, in particular to these replies:
Tumblr media
These points are most likely rooted in the belief that Doll's death was handled poorly from a writing standpoint, and while I consider it a fair interpretation to have given that writing something to be intentionally disappointing will always feel unpleasant to a consumer, I believe that the reasons found to justify said feeling in the replies are disingenuous and flat out wrong, and I am going to debunk each and every single one of them independently.
Starting off with:
Tumblr media
The character development
Doll has for the most part a flat character arc in all the scenes that she appears in, but that doesn't mean that she had no development at any point; first of all, there's most obviously her villain arc, caused by the death of her parents, the solver, the loneliness and lack of mentor figures and general mental illness, during the prom scene, she has reached peak villainy in the series, only saving Lizzie's life because she has mentally assessed the people to care about and the others and even when shot in the head she doubles down on her tendencies and keeps being a menace, but that's where she discovers that Uzi also has the solver and for the first time in ever she has someone who shares her pain but is on the "enemy" side. This starts a continuous chain of doubt in her mind that she overcomes only at the end of episode 6 when she completes her negative character arc by sacrificing Uzi for the cure in the raptor trap, spelling out her doom in the next episode where in her last moments she does her first and only step of a positive character arc by inciting her to fight back the solver with all her forces. Doll is given many chances to switch to the other side and stop being a villain, but she refuses every single one and her reality check only comes on her death bed when it's already too late.
Tumblr media
The impact of her death
First of all Rebecca "died" in front of 4 other people while Doll dies only in front of Uzi, who outside of her genuine shock later swears to fake Tessa that it wasn't her doing but someone else, all while pretty terrified herself. Nori and N also come there, but they are too busy with everything else going on to notice, also, neither of them ever cared about Doll. And Cyn... come on.
Tumblr media
What do we know about her
First of all, she is quite literally "Uzi if things got even worse" most of her traits are darker reflections of Uzi or an improved version of Uzi's skills, including her aura of mystery, there to be the cool factor that Uzi tries so hard to achieve but fails. She also has the same goal as Uzi, but without the hero complex part whose substitute by her belief of being the chosen one by the solver and fated to bring about the end of the world. She's sadistic, delusional, traumatized, stubborn, russian and a pathetic wet cat of a person whose inability to change denied her the answers that she so desperately craved.

Avery's Murder Drones Swap AU Redesign [ Part 1 - 2 ]
Hi yall! I uh, redesigned my murder drones swap au, just the thought of sharing it here while waiting for my deactivated twitter account to crumble lol (all of these are posted on tiktok @ averyyvoid_ if you're interested in checking there)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Cyn <--> Doll (I did a bit of error on the eye color of Den so I'll fix it in later art) J <--> Lizzy Notes for now: - Den's hair is meant to style similar to Yeva's (will be explain after I design Swap!Yeva) - Callie's speaking language will be Mandarin - Den has selective mutism. but when she does speak, it often comes out negative - Jennifer is often with Venus and rarely with Bolt (but they're all friends in the end anyways) Now, onto our three main characters in the OG series
Tumblr media Tumblr media
V <--> Thad N <--> Uzi
Notes for now: - Unlike N who we associates him with golden retrievers, a friend of mine helped me assign Bolt a different dog breed, which is a Shiba Inu! - Venus likes volleyball (as in the series, Thad has big interests in football) - Z's hair is meant to style similar to Nori's (will be explain later after I design Swap!Nori)

Is CYN Autistic and is She Good Representation?
Murder Drones ⟨00⟩ is an indie show about robots; created by Glitch Productions ⟨01⟩; directed by Liam Vickers ⟨02⟩: all episodes are free to watch on YouTube and I do recommend watching. The show follows a robot girl named Uzi and her best friend N; CYN (the subject of this post) is N’s adoptive younger sister. Many people in the Murder Drones fandom (including myself) have identified her as being autistic but is this the case and is she a good representation?
In this post I will try to go over all the evidence we have which suggests she is/isn’t autistic and discuss what it means to be a good representation. I have split this post into three parts,
Is CYN Autistic (Minor Spoiler warning)
Is CYN Autistic (Major Spoiler warning)
What is Good Representation and does CYN qualify?
If you enjoy reading this, consider reblogging and checking out my other post where I go into the science behind "if N is colour blind?⟨3⟩”. I must forewarn, I am not a medical doctor nor am I qualified in any adjacent fields relating to disabilities, I am just an autistic person who enjoys film theory.
All references used are linked too and also supplied at the bottom.
Tumblr media
[image transcript; a picture of the character CYN from Murder Drones Episode 5 sitting behind a bar counter holding a ceramic teacup]
The first point I want to make is to address the possible concerns over CYN being a Worker Drone (the name given to one type of robot in Murder Drones) as, in media, autistic people are often negatively represented through machines. This is not the case here, in the show most characters are robots and behave neurotypically; the behaviours and mannerisms of CYN will expressly be discussed in comparison to the rest of the cast. This will also be discussed more in greater detail later in the post.
Part 1 - Evidence : Minor Spoiler Warning
Posture
The manner in which CYN stands gives us multiple strong indications that she is neurotypical. Contrary to common belief, autism both affects a person mentally and physically with a strong overlap between the two⟨04⟩.
Tumblr media
[image transcript; a picture of the character CYN from Murder Drones Episode 5 standing looking upwards towards the camera smiling with a crooked posture]
Going from top to bottom, the notable traits are;
CYN is very short, being estimated to be ~100cm or ~3'4''. For comparison, most Worker Drones are around 132cm or 4'4''. This is likely due to her being a child but there have been studies which have found that Autistic people are generally taller than their neurotypical counterparts⟨05⟩.
CYN holds her head at a tilt which is an common autism stim⟨06⟩. We also see that she often uses her hand to adjust her head or to hold it in support, leading to the conclusion that she has hypotonia (weak “muscles”) which is characterised by symptoms like difficulty holding the head up, difficulties with sitting up⟨07⟩, and poor posture; all identified in CYN. The source just provided focuses mainly on infants but I did manage to find a case study of a ten year old written by Mark Hutten⟨08⟩. I also found an interesting study saying head tilting can assist in helping an autistic person with facial recognition⟨09⟩.
CYNs elbows are constantly bent over a 90 degree angle pulling her arms towards her chest. This is known as “T-Rex Arms” in the autistic community and is usually believed to be a form of stimming⟨10⟩.
When not being used, CYNs hands are constantly limp. This is a commonly seen extension to the “T-Rex Arms”. I was unable to find a scholarly article but I did find a discussion point by the online influencer Autistic Emmalyn⟨11⟩.
CYN leans towards her left leg and her right leg is distinctly more bent, this is common in autistic people caused by what's known as “Leg length discrepancy”⟨12⟩. Note, I've found contradictory evidence for what causes “Leg length discrepancy”; does the posture decrease leg length, does the leg length induce posture, or is differing leg length an illusion. It is also unusual for both legs to be bent so it's hard to say with certainty this is the cause.
CYN points her feet inwards which is known as in-toeing which is a common symptom of autism although only generally present in young children⟨13⟩. In-toeing can be caused by “femoral anteversion”: I found no study directly correlating “Femoral Anteversion” and autism but I did find a study which correlated hypermobility with autism⟨14⟩ and a study which correlated “Femoral Anteversion'' with hypermobility⟨15⟩. Hypermobility has also been shown to be correlated with hypotonia⟨16⟩.
CYN is seen pulling her thighs inwards which is a sign of autism and many autistic people (specifically autistic children) do it to help them find balance⟨13⟩.
Note that there is one scene in which she doesn’t stand in the manner described above, in this scene she is not the focus and she’s very much obscured. I believe at this point this is likely an animation error. I will be discussing this in greater detail later on but cannot currently due to the problem of spoilers.
Tumblr media
[image transcript; a picture of the character CYN from Murder Drones Episode 5. The shot is of her standing neurotypically from behind while holding a ceramic teacup]
Walking
The problem with discussing the manner in which CYN walks is that we get limited shots of her walking, particularly unsupported. The best evidence we do have comes from the gala preparations in episode 5 but in that scene the lower parts of her legs are obscured and she is taking aid from N. There are other scenes where we somewhat see her walk but they each come with their own problems.
Tumblr media
[image transcript; a picture of CYN (left) walking holding onto her older brother N (right)]
By comparing the number of times CYN and N’s head bob while walking together we get an indication of their respective stride lengths, by watching the scene at 0.25 speed CYN takes ~16 steps and N takes ~9 steps. Since they’re walking in tandem, we can conclude that CYNs stride length is 9/16=~0.5625 times that of N’s. Since stride length and height are directly proportional17, we can take into account their height difference by multiplying by the ratio of their heights (132cm/100cm=1.32) which gives us 1.32*0.5625=0.7425 so even when height is taken into account, CYNs stride length is significantly smaller than N’s and a smaller stride length is a symptom of autism⟨17⟩. This is also backed up in other scenes where we see CYN move and her stride appears very short.
While walking with N, her gait (distance between feet) is neurotypical, in other scenes where we see her walk, without aid, this is not the case so this is a direct example of where we cannot be certain of the information we’re getting from the gala preparation scene. A wider gait length is a sign of autism⟨18⟩.
When looking at the movement of her kneecaps compared to N and the other servants, she has a distinct increased hip flexion which is a symptom of autism which is an action taken to mitigate the effects of autism on mobility⟨18⟩.
Although she has an increased hip flexion, her knee’s do not appear to bend significantly which is another sign of autism along with limited ankle movement⟨18⟩. We only see one shot in the show where we see CYN feet while she’s moving and in that she takes only one small step backwards but it does seem that her ankles don’t bend, I am reluctant to push this as evidence due to how limited the data is.
In the cathedral scene, we see that she seemingly pauses between steps as she walks (this behaviour is not present when walking with N). This is referred to as an increase in the stance phrase which is a sign of autism⟨18⟩.
Oral
CYN (voiced by Allanah Fitzgerald⟨19⟩) has a very distinct manner in which she talks, for those unaware her voice sounds very reminiscent of Siri/Alexa which strongly contrasts most other characters in the show who have fully articulated voices. Without going into details (to avoid spoilers), there is an argument that can be made that her voice is the default for Worker Drones.
Tumblr media
[image transcript; a picture of the character CYN from Murder Drones Episode 5 kneeling on a bar counter holding up her head with the back of her hand]
Here is a transcript of a conversation between CYN and N.
N       - *walking in*
CYN - “You seem, upset—big brother—N. Perhaps you'd like to attend the gala with me?—light sip”
N        -  “Ahh, not sure we’re invited, little buddy. Why not just hang with me?”
CYN - “climbing, criss cross applesauce—am I—not wanted, N?”
N        - “aww dude, you know its her parents… ahh, don’t give me those eyes”
CYN - “giggle, I am so naughty.”
certain parts of N’s lines being altered to avoid spoilers (CYNs lines have been left virtually unchanged).
The most obvious part of her language is her rigid voice, it is very monotone. This is not hard to correlate to Autism as ‘robotic’ is a common descriptor used to describe one of the ways people who are autistic talk⟨20⟩. I do want to mention that although her voice is robotic, she isn’t emotionless, through her actions it is clear she can feel a wide range of complex emotions including humour and annoyance; it's just she struggles showing it⟨23⟩.
CYN also uses phrases when performing certain actions such as “criss cross applesauce” when she is sitting down; this is a sign of Echolalia⟨20⟩ which is very common for autistic people⟨20⟩. Her phrase “you’d like to attend the gala with me” also gives the implications of delayed Echolalia⟨21⟩. Note, certain things she vocalises like “giggle” and “annoyed expression” aren’t Echolalia.
CYN does not show any sins of having narrow interests which is usually a common  symptom of Autism⟨20⟩. This may be a result of her limited screen presence as we don’t get significant indications of any of her interests.
Since we don’t see CYN through multiple stages of her life, it is difficult to determine if her language skills have developed unevenly⟨20⟩. She does mix childish and formal language together as she talks which can be interpreted as implying uneven language skills. I think the explanation of Echolalia fits better.
Tumblr media
[image transcript; a close up picture of the character CYN from Murder Drones Episode 5 kneeling on a bar counter holding out her hands making an excited expression with her tongue out] (author note, do not question why she has a tongue)
Her face, although much less emotive, isn’t devoid of emotion; she can somewhat show emotions like fear and can be very expressive but only in a rigid and forced manner although her face is usually unexpressive. She also sometimes she visually shows the wrong emotions like with the picture above she is excited but here eyes are showing the scared emotion. All these is very stereotypical of autistic people and defies the common stereotype⟨22⟩.
Now we have come to the end of part 1, which is sad ): . Please consider reblogging, this took a lot of time and research to put together and I'm sure there's still mistakes and inaccuracies. So what conclusions can we draw from this information… not much since a lot of important information has been left out since they cannot be discussed without major spoilers for the show. Thank you for reading.

Murder Drones Episode 8 and its Issues
It's been a hot sec since I've last posted, but I'm back!! Today's post actually concerns episode 8 and people's issues with it and I'll be doing my best to address every claim against it that has been made with negative connotations! #1 The runtime is terribly short, glitch should've made it longer
First of all, I feel like the murder drones community has a habit of forgetting that glitch is an indie animation studio and we can't expect them to give us amazing long content! On top of that, the writing was finished by Liam awhile ago so this was all already pre-planned and it was clear that murder drones had a very specific ending in mind! Finally the animation quality, was just amazing in this episode and I can't imagine the amount of work it must've taken them to animate such a detailed episode and it's 20 minutes on top of all of that, and not many indie animations have the ability to do all that within a year!! #2 The story didn't give us proper closure
I know that in the story there were a lot of loose ends that weren't tied up, however we did still get an ending. Liam is known for often dropping projects early on and we got very lucky that we managed to get some form of an ending!
See with this story the whole point of it was that they were trying to defeat Cyn and they pretty much accomplished that which essentially means the story comes to a close since there's no reason to drag on what is done!
#3 V coming back was bad
Okay I can see why you might say that, considering all her development lead up to her death which was a good wrap for her story, however keep in mind we finally got some form of closure between N and V! The hallway scene when V apologizes to N, I think that was definitely one of her biggest points of development and I think we owe Liam for that amazing writing, not only did he manage to give her a purpose in the new episode, but he was also able to tie up some loose ends with her issues and give her the final development that she really needed!
#4 Uzi was so cringey during this ep and that just sucks
Okay firstly, I understand that some people might view being cringy as weird and that's okay, but I don't see an issue with it whatsoever, people can be as cringey as they want if it makes them happy and doesn't hurt anyone! Now addressing Uzi's cringeyness, it's quite literally in character for her! If you've been watching the series since the beginning, her whole character has had this whole cringe thing going on and I'm not sure why you would hate on a character for just being themselves, she's just being her normal self when she calls herself a "damaged oc"!
Conclusion: I know that there's a lot of reasons why some people might've not enjoyed episode 8 of murder drones and that's completely okay, these are just my personal thoughts on all this and it's mainly to address all the hate against glitch for the episode, which btw they do not deserve! Please do not send hate to glitch, criticisms are okay, but hate is not. Anyways I hope that this post reaches those who have been looking for it or need it! Thank you for reading!

Ep 8 Theories
With the series finale come my last minute theories and thoughts regarding the episode and what could be going on towards the end of the episode.
Spoilers, duh
I'll be trying to stick with how the episode played out, might occasionally end up jumping around though. I have heard plenty of rather negative/disappointed thoughts regarding the ep. Overall, I'm very happy with how it ended- yes there are a couple issues, but I don't think they took away from the main idea. Most of my theories will mirror that.
Tumblr media
First being, V is alive! The queen returned in the best and coolest way possible. Couple things here.
I do wonder if V was more than suspicious of Tessa and her identity. So in the end, chose to not go with them on purpose- fake her death, and see how the rest goes.
Something that was on the sentinel's part/fault, they didn't actually boot loop her, giving her a higher chance of escape. Rather unsatisfying explanation to some, but to me, it is more than enough. The sentinels have less knowledge/programming made by humans, and it was already seen that V could overpower one of the sentinels. Seeing as they are a pack running team, seeing that defeat might have just turned those tides. A bit of a silly thought, but silly is this show and the reason I love it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The biggest thing that had me confused was this. Perhaps I'm slow- and I am- but I had to think about what possible promise the Absolute Solver could have made and later tricked her instead. That would probably have to go all the way back to ep5:
Tumblr media
"You will not have to discard your pets, and I will not discard you."
In a way, this line was aimed both at Tessa and J- who was simply a bystander. The Absolute Solver kind of promised not to get rid of Tessa, someone that J seemed to have a close connection with. Technically, the AS never got "rid off" Tessa, simply repurposed her just like all of the WD in the mansion to become DDs. Perhaps there was a background deal between AS and J that included the promise of leaving Tessa alone, or doing something for the AS and being freed from its control after. Either way, the AS broke that promise and J simply gave up. She chose to side with the "winning side" and lost all of her fighting spirit and reason to be. Perhaps that is why during the fight, she simply never returned. We saw J being tossed into a crevice and that was all- before her returning in the credits rebuilding the ship. When the tide changed, she didn't see a reason to keep on fighting alongside the AS and dipped out of her shift.
Tumblr media
The comment of "I never needed either of you." also made me wonder if this also implied that all J needed was Tessa. Someone of higher authority to tell her what to do and which orders to follow. J never needed friends, only a boss that oversaw them all in an orderly manner. But then again, that's just my thought, in no way a concrete theory.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Less of a theory and more of a observation. Seems that a lot more of N's memories were wiped slowly one by one, and this would be one of the reasons as to why. If the AS wanted the team to retain their personalities, it would need to get rid of the things that could traumatize the team and therefore change how they behaved- especially seen with N. He seemed to always have the least amount of memories from the past, surprising until you see that maybe this was because he woke up during the transferring process between WD and DD. That would completely change how he behaved, his core personality would be gone- the one that the AS got so attached to.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
A call back from ep4: "We do our jobs, and that thing leaves us alone." Perhaps V and AS also had a deal. Because they all retained their personalities, and at first maybe their memories as well- before the CYN administration started to delete them- V could also make a deal with the AS for her and N's freedom. The deal was broken, V chose to raise her sword against Cynessa entity instead which irked the AS. An attempt was made on V's side to salvage the moment, perhaps to say that she could still finish the overall job, choose the "winning team" as according to J earlier in the ep. Of course, that didn't work.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Gotta give it to my tired and sick brain, I couldn't figure out what Uzi meant by "Just me in here." Nor how Uzi was even able to start fighting the AS control unlike in ep7. What changed? Well Uzi, herself said it, "You don't fricking own me." Uzi's personality and desires was something that the AS could never use for its own gain. Unlike with Cyn- who did not want to be discarded- Uzi didn't really have any wishes and desires that the AS could fulfill/poach. Yes, in ep4 Uzi was often forgotten by her classmates and seemed to want to hang out with them all as well. "So glad you fit right in. Super cool-" is what she told V. She wished to fit in at some point in time. The AS took that thought and said, "'aight I got this. To fit in/make sure N doesn't leave her Imma just get rid of the obstacles!" in a very AS way. The snap that occurred between ep7 and ep8 was Uzi's dislike of being "owned" by something. She's always prided herself in being her own drone, with her own personality and character. The AS constantly wants that control, to be able to move its puppets as it wishes. Once Uzi said "no" to it once, it gets easier to say "no" to it again and again- because the method is always the same. The callback ping stops working and instead Uzi takes the control.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So, the Solver of the Absolute Fabric, the Void, the Exponential End is this. It has a final form that always resided in Cyn. It appears that Nori knew this as well, because she made a comment of:
Tumblr media
"The Solver needs a host- destroy Cyn's heart."
The AS's final form is a black hole, much like those that the Solver drones have been able to create. Except in Cyn's case, the form of the AS is much bigger and more grand. Cyn's core behaved a lot like how J's core did back in ep2
Tumblr media Tumblr media
All of her parts became miniature black holes before floating away off of the screen. Perhaps each drone that has some form of the AS in it- be it a DD or a Solver drone- will eventually become this. Hinting at the fact that if N and V were to die, their cores would become small black holes. In Nori's case, something similar would happen as well, if the core was to be destroyed. In Uzi's case, if her core is destroyed, the size of the black hole would be similar if not bigger than the one we saw in ep8 from Cyn. Depending on how much control the AS has in the drone, the bigger/smaller the black hole will be post core death.
Tumblr media
Now as for the end. The ending I'm actually fine with. It's very open ended, leaving it to us to figure out the truth and the lies. For us, the viewers, to fill in the holes that may be left and choose where the story goes from there. Some may take the path of: this is all a lie, none of the things post Uzi integrating with the AS is real, others may take the route of the happy ending and that everyone figures out how to live on. I'm more with the happy ending gang.
The ending doesn't solve anything though. Much like how the image says "I'm not solved" the problem was never solved. The AS still exists and at best, what Uzi did was put the whole kill all of the universes thing on a pause. But here's where I give the one and only thing I have a gripe about regarding this episode:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The moment between N running to check on Uzi to Uzi waking up where everything is destroyed. Half of the confusion regarding the ending of the series and many disappointments I see stem from this scene alone. Because it's so sudden and rough that it makes the episode feel rushed. I expected the entire episode to be a big fight and then leaving about 5 minutes for the ending/denouement- that's generally how these sorts of animations go. My issue is with that scene and the rough transition. What could have helped, I think, was to have 2-3 minutes of Uzi chatting with the AS directly. Doesn't need to be anything grand- put her and the AS in a black plane/mindscape and have them chat. About why the AS is still even fighting, and make a deal/truce with each other showcasing the reasoning behind the integration/fusion of Uzi and the AS at a much better pace. Then, have her wake up with the Fatal Error, continue on with the ending. Granted, this method would take away from the suspense and tension feeling that was originally felt when we saw Uzi with the "Fatal Error" on her visor. Furthermore, the surprise that we felt when we first saw Uzi's eyes.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Another theory as to the possible sudden/rough transition would actually be this. When Uzi imploded the planet for the umpteenth time in the episode, the things that were surrounding her slowly started to go back up- much like they did when Cyn was calling for the second core collapse. Perhaps her actions, in fact, did cause the core collapse and then yeeting her into god knows where like Nori and Yeva in the past. All the while this was happening, the AS integrated with Uzi. But because Uzi is much stronger now- mentally and physically- the AS couldn't take complete control like it did with Cyn. Instead, it was a partial fusion of the two entities. Giving Uzi the extra solver powers seen with Cyn, but keeping her personality intact instead of the AS exploiting it like it did with Cyn.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Finally, my take on what the hell is happening with the post credit scene. I've seen a lot of people take this scene in the way that Uzi is living in a simulated ending. They never actually won, and the AS simply created an entire illusion of a happy ending just for her to cope better. Here's the problem with that theory:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Cyn was known for being able to switch between all of these forms without needing to lose her original body. The AS is now integrated into Uzi and has given her the power to do the same thing Cyn was capable of doing. "But Ginkgo, why does Uzi seem so tired then? And why show the empty halls?" To be for real, if I had a little tail that would constantly spout that I look good in a bow and other comments, I would be tired too. Regarding the hallway, depending on time of day could mean how many drones are out and about. In ep2, it was shown that a lot of places become deserted when it's not being used, same applies to the school. Furthermore, a small idea just came to mind, maybe hiding the AS parts of herself takes a lot of energy and makes Uzi tired. When the drones are all gone- the ones that are at least afraid of her- she could let that mask slip, thus glitching out occasionally and dipping into the other forms.
Tumblr media
Overall, I genuinely enjoyed the episode and was really sad to see the series come to the end- still coming to terms with it really. While the ending is very open ended and gives a great opportunity for season 2 to pick from, I wouldn't be upset if there is no S2. If they ever did announce there was one, I'd be really happy, but if there isn't that's alright as well. Liam did a wonderful job with tying the story off, open ended for us to play around with and continue the journey of these characters in a way that makes us happy.
Glitch stated that they have some things they'll be using N and Uzi for, my gamble is they will mostly likely return for events- Glitch Inn, promotion of products, GlitchX, etc. What I would love to see is little snippet episodes of little shenanigans they might get up to. Post canon mini episodes if you will.
Most of these "theories" don't match up to some older ones I may have done, but when something comes to an end, there isn't much to theorize about in the future. Plus I've been under the weather for a little while TwT So I don't have many braincells online currently. But thanks for seeing through these last "theories" and thoughts I had. Maybe in the future, if I come up with some other insane idea I'll share it. Until then, I'll be seeing you later >:3
Have a cookie for getting through all of this bs XD 🍪

Highlights of Ep 8 of Murder drone to me
The teachers nonchalantness to whole thing is so real. Especially the reaction the little slap.
I found the fact they was no sound during the space seens so cool. Excellent usage of that too.
"Stop :)"
Nuzi canon yay
Lizzy casually text V while she is in the middle of the fight is so funny
Why is the sentinel velociraptor beefing with Lizzy? (Still funny)
Cyn. Is so silly. And also so very terrifying (let me in, let me in, letmein, letmein, letmeinletmein)
Hands! That is so cool
I was at the edge of my metaphorical seats when V crashed through
I sorta wish all the cores look slightly different from one another.
Go- fu- da- it
Khan little moment where he saves N with the door, I adore it
"Wierdly hot robots" immediately made me think of NuziV, I still head canon it
They is something so funny about Cyn/the Solver saying "Kay" so casually after Uzi's speech about being an absolute nerd
She is not at all concerned and only slightly amused, and it for some reason is so funny
And then [amazing battle] also nightcore
Cyn was so cool through out all of it, she is so unserious.
V's absolute disgust with Nuzi is so real, also her disgust when Uzi fistbump her after the secret handshake is so funny
My brother screaming "Eat it, Eat it" into screen only made the moment funnier
Uzi standing like Cyn and swatting the gun away made me chuckle a bit, also her eyes look so cool✨️✨️✨️
(😧 . 😧)
WOMEN THATS YOUR HUSBAND
"Broken OC"
More ammo for my NuziV headcanon.
Doll.. a moment of silence for her
.
.
.
I know it says Solver in the caption, but that is definitely Cyn, Cyn was the one with the bow obsession.
Anyhow.
Khan and Nori. Just that
----------------------------------------------------
Overall, I really liked this episode, the animation was so COOL, I liked the story, and it made me feel some genuine horror sometimes. Generally positive feeling about the ending. Only truly negative feeling being how some questions feels unanswered, but Cyn's silliness somehow made up for it?
No actually criticism from, I don't think I know how to criticise anyway, not the point, I have no problems with the finale, 9/10 series would watch again
If you read through all of this thanks, and feel free to add your favourite moments.

Ok so I have to get my opinion out about Cyn
In episode 5 we see how Cyn was a worker drone that was thrown away by humans and was offered absolute solver (as seen in this scene) to "wake up" after "sleeping" for god knows how long under a pile of dead drones (which is kinda traumataizing).
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
She was found and brought by Tessa in the mansion where she really couldn't do anything around the mansion because of her dysfunctional body and because of this she probably wasn't treated kindly by others (take J as an example) and was maybe also judged and disliked by everyone because of her dissability exept N.
He is/was always kind and understanding and saw her struggle and promised to be there for her and help her when she needs it, evolving their relationship into brother and sister.
Now, as we have already seen with Uzi in ep 4, stress/anxiety/negative feelings made her AS to act up and overheat really fast which caused her to transform into a monster who killed her classmates who where just terrible. They didn't even brother to learn her name and worst of all, they trusted N, her first friend who is a murder drone that is made to kill them, who they've just met like 10 seconds ago, more then their classmate.
In the mansion N was probably the single one who conforted her when she was stressed/sad/scared however the more time went by, the more torment was initiated by Tessa's abusive parents, and the AS slowly took over her mind and that's when she started becoming more agresive towords everyone and started doing gruesone experiments.
N, because he was always being by her side began witnessing the things she was doing and when she discovered that she began making backups of every drone so that her mission won't be compromised if someone witnesses her and/or she makes experimens on them and then kills them. (What if the first time she made a new N was after she accidently caused his death and then realised what she had done and wanted her brother to come back, this would be really tragic if this is the case but who knows 😭).
I personally belive in the theory that the Absolute solver (or The Solver of the Absolute Fabric or whatever it's named) is a hivemind that makes a pact with a drone that is in need (or maybe on the brink of death) and that's how it gains more power and gets closer to its goals. I think that it also accumulates the memories and the mannerisms of its hosts (which can explain some things). Also I think that it is trying/tried to do the same thing to Doll, Uzi, Nori and Yeva but their solver are independent so they cannot be taken over.
Cyn wasn't properly disposed of and was stuck unable to wake up ( you can say that she was left to die) untill the AS sent a masage telling her that it'll help her, that she seems sad, and in distress and it tells her that she won't be disposed of if she gives it acces to her system I guess
(This photo is, in my opinion, the biggest proof)
Tumblr media
She was just a scared drone (perhaps a robot child as N says in ep 4 that they are children) that was trown away like a toy and now wnats revange on the humans that misstreat her kind. Cyn wants, like her brother, tobprotect the ones she loves.
Now
If you want some more proof about this watch this video on yt that explains the things that I'm saying:
(I don't know spanish at all but the subtitles are really hopefull) (Also it's a great video)
Tumblr media
I'm sorry if there where many problems in this post or if the explanation wasn't so good.
I'll make some other posts about this and the plot of the series but idk when

Hello MD fandom. Having discussed Cabin Fever with my Mom, I've finally come up with a theory. 🤓
Uzi looses control of her Solver powers and can become controlled by CYN when she gets overly stressed, panicked, embarrassed, or well, just feels any strong, negative emotion.
Lemme give examples:
The first time that she (almost) looses control is after looking out the window and seeing N making friends with her classmates, who well, hate her and can't even remember her name.
Tumblr media
It's extra sad for her for the simple fact that N and V are made to KILL them and yet get along with her classmates just fine, so why can't she? Uzi even tells V this when the two start talking a few minutes later.
Tumblr media
I also want to add that she cooled down (literally) once V started talking to her. V starting a conversation with Uzi distracted our favorite Hot Topic worker drone from sad thoughts about not having friends.
Another example:
Uzi finally lost control right after V told her that N would easily leave her
Tumblr media Tumblr media
and right after she saw N getting along with her classmates (again) and accidentally turned Briaden's arrow into uh- well, whatever that thing was.
Tumblr media
Uzi was clearly SUPER embarrassed, ashamed, terrified, and confused. All of those emotions, plus the thought of N leaving her, finally made her snap.
She obviously doesn't want N to leave her, Uzi loves him a lot.
Tumblr media
So what happened to her wings? I think they just, well, disappeared. N made her laugh and fully calmed her down, so CYN couldn't control her anymore, which means she turned back to normal.
This theory, if correct, also can explain the scene where Uzi holds on to N's hand while she's sleeping.
Tumblr media
Uzi grabbed his hand for a sense of comfort. She doesn't want him to leave, so she was just making sure he was still there, right by her side.
It makes N a sort of, well, comfort dog (Which is ironic and would also make sense because on the N Animatez Box, Glitch describes him as a "Gleeful Puppy Dog"
Tumblr media
Thank you so much if you read through all of that!
Sorry if this theory makes no sense, I'm not used to doing stuff like this LOL

My Thoughts about Murder Drones Episode 8
Hoo boy this has been a freaking long time coming huh, well hey there, my name is Xeon and I am finally getting to talk about Murder Drones episode 8 it was a freaking doozy because I just never had time to even type this up for the past week and I FINALLY GET TO TALK ABOUT IT!!! So without further ado, lets begin. Positives: So to talk about the positives, can we just give massive applause for the music in this episode, I swear tracks such as "Forever", "....Run" "Call-back ping" and "Bite Me" were all incredible tracks, no scratch that, the whole ost was fantastic. Oh and the animation was just freaking top notch from the fights between Uzi, N and Cyn/Solver or V vs J or the final fight with Cyn and J vs N, V and Uzi, just every fight was brimming with energy. I also loved the small interactions like Nori and Uzi where she encourages Uzi to fight back and reunite with those back at Copper 9 or when Nori just says that "she hates Khan" even though she clearly loves him, lol what a tsundere. Oh i also have to talk about hallway and the "Let me in" scenes, they were so freaking good and god, i was gripping my chair every time i go back to rewatch it. Oh and the ending when N says "That's my girlfriend." made me squeal like a little girl. Negatives: So for the things that I can call out as negative, I have to say that I am kinda disappointed in how Tessa and J ended in the final episode. I just feel awful for Tessa, she was such an interesting character and they could have done so much with her as both a character and a form of plot for N and the other Disassembly drones in the Manor era, and yet all they do is just leave her for dead. Another thing that I am kinda mad about is how J was treated, she had known about what Cyn/Solver had done to Tessa or rather what it planned to do with the solver cores and the planet after another complaint I have is that the rest of the episode felt a bit rushed near the end, I mean in that most of the episode is dedicated to the fight but that just leaves a whole coffin of questions like the origins of the solver, what did the Disassembly Drones do after Earth and even the time skip after the final battle make it feel like they were trying to wrap it up as quick as possible. Conclusion: In the end, I do think that they did a rather fine job with ending this series and honestly, despite some issues I have with this show in its ending, I am genuinely happy to be a part of this fandom and just seeing this series wrap up on a high note. I just adore these drones so freaking much and I am glad to have been along for the ride and I hope you all have a fantastic day.

Yk I feel like we’re forgetting that the AS is a cruel, inhumane, parasite bc I’ve seen a couple of blogs saying that they have a crush on N
Like be so fr that thing wants nothing but death, suffering, and destruction. It’s TORMENTING him.
tbh if you compare AS to AM (the ai from I have no mouth and I must scream), you’ll see that they’re almost the same!
Destroyed humanity, kept certain people to torture them for a long time, and last but not least manipulate them into doing terrible things
It’s worse when they make Cyn, his own sister, as an example
“Oh she was intimidating tucking her hair behind her ‘ear’ she (or the AS) is in love with him!” How stupid can you be to freaking say that?
This and killing off his loved ones like no it’s not jealous of them, again, they literally want to torture N 💀
We may not know why this entity is interested in him but one thing’s for certain they are NOT in love with this dude
Anyways that’s all with me peace ✌️

Murder Drones finale review
Tumblr media
The animation in this finale is a visual feast for the eyes. The fighting choreography, the way the characters move, speak and fight - it's all a masterpiece. Cynessa's animations in particular were breathtaking. The way she moves, the way she talks, and the way she fights - it all adds up to an experience worth watching over and over again. Even her walking animation is a joy to behold. And who could forget the fight between Uzi and Cyn? It was the highlight of the finale for me. I must have rewatched it 10 times already. Not to mention the fight between V and J, which was equally amazing. These characters have become my favorite ones in the show, and I wish we could have more scenes with them that are not fight scenes. In addition to the incredible animation, the sound effects and character animations are top-notch. The color scheme, lighting, and scene design in this finale were gorgeous, making it an enjoyable and vibrant experience from start to finish. The team behind this show deserves a standing applause for their impressive work.
The mostly negative long rant
(Below)
The characterization for J in the episode where she has the most screen time is still quite lacking. She is seen with the villain, knowing the whole plan, as if she was the closest to Tessa, so it's unclear why she is so chill with Cyn, who literally skinned her friend and used her corpse. Is J meant to be that way, or was the writing for her character simply not up to par? It's unclear.
V coming back is a great moment, and her fighting is a good addition to the episode. However, it's still a bit disappointing that she barely talked with N, despite clearly having a bond. It would have been nice to see them have a one-on-one conversation about anything, especially given N's panic attack.Lizzy, Thad, and Khan, who barely occupied any screen time and did not have much to do in the episode, could have been cut from the episode altogether. The anticipated fight between them and J seemed to have happened off-screen, which was a missed opportunity to see them in action and fully utilize their potential.
It's also uncertain whether Khan ever discovered Nori's identity after she stole the heart from J. A further issue is what will happen to Khan after she leaves the planet. Additionally, there is no confirmation on whether it was N who killed Nori or not, which would have a significant impact on Khan and Nori's reaction to Nori and N dating.Regarding the Solver's goal, it appears to be to destroy, but it's unclear exactly how. How does Uzi eating the soul (?) of Cyn separate her from the solver completely? In regards to Uzi defeating Cynessa, the way she did it feels somewhat underwhelming, as she was able to predict where she would land but the countless bullets, blasts and sharp weapons barely did anything. Furthermore, her power levels seem to fluctuate when the plot demands it, which only adds to the confusion.
They could have fixed a lot of this by adding at least 5 to 10 minutes more. More interactions and lore dumps could have been added and the fight could have remained most of the episode, but there was so much more to be done. Additionally, J's motivations needed to be expanded, and the ending was too happy and abrupt.I have massive respect for Glitch, Liam, and everyone who worked on Murder Drones. I still love the series, and I believe I always will. However, this episode was just a big action scene with a sudden and abrupt conclusion. I truly don't understand how this was approved in the writing room.Despite my many negative comments and critiques, this finale isn't the worst I've seen. It's not mid, but I can't quite put my finger on why it falls short. It's a mixed bag of emotions for me. On one hand, I'm glad everyone had a happy ending, but I'm deeply disappointed with how the show ended. Seeing Doll's dead body made me feel both sad and a little bit amused. I wish we had more backstory on Doll, Yeva, and Nori. I'm dying to know how Khan met his wife and how Doll's parents met each other. There are a lot of unanswered questions and rushed things in this finale, which makes it disappointing for me. Still, the show isn't bad. I'm glad I watched Murder Drones, and I'll definitely miss it. Thank you to Glitch Productions, Liam Vickers, and everyone who worked on the show for bringing the series to life. I apologize for the lengthy rant.
(Anyways Cyn/cynessa Gifs I found)

James took another sip of his fourth cup of tea and continued reading the old novel he was reading, supposedly dating back to the late 1900’s or early 2000’s. Like his daughter, he was rather interested in the old stories, both in books and in film, of those times. No matter how childish they may seem, he always made sure to make time to read or watch with her. Some of them were for mature audiences, but James promised to let Tessa see them as well when she got older. The book he was currently reading was called Jurassic Park, specifically the first of three books. James set the mug down and flipped the page, moving the bookmark in between the next two pages incase he had to suddenly get up for one reason or another. Out of curiosity, James lifted his right hand up to his head. His watch came on automatically and showed him the time.
6:12 PM
He glanced out the window. The sun had gone down over an hour ago since it was winter, and he had been reading for nearly an hour. James turned his head back to the old novel and continued reading. He loved his wife dearly, but considering her negative attitude towards many of the things he loved, including Tessa, that didn’t stop him from enjoying the peace and quiet he’d have for the rest of the week and the upcoming month while she’s off visiting her parents. James looked at his watch again and made sure the alarm for 6:30 PM was still on. He didn’t want to miss watching Bluey with Tessa now that he was sure Louisa wouldn’t barge in and start another argument. After making sure that it was on, he turned his attention back to the book.
Suddenly, he heard someone running down the hall to his right and turned his head just in time to see Tessa sprint past the doorway and up the stairs, followed by N. At first, he thought nothing of it and turned back to the book. If anything, he would’ve thought that it was a good thing since he had noticed N slowly coming out of his shell last week when he found him letting Cyn put a bow on his tail. But then he heard Tessa’s bedroom door open, followed by a scream from his daughter.
“TESSA!!!” James shouted.
He shot out of his chair and practically threw the novel onto the table as he sprinted out of the room. James remembered what N was like when he first found him. He was covered with blood and oil, but the red had stood out more against his now clean, black coat. When he woke up, his first reaction was to attack James with his claws, and if it wasn’t for him being exhausted and pinned under the wreckage of his pod, James had his doubts that it would’ve ended as well as it did. After hearing his daughter scream, he immediately feared the worst. He ran up the stairs and took a few turns to get to Tessa’s bedroom with panic moving around like an ocean during a storm in his mind, but when he saw what was happening, the seas suddenly went calm.
N was sitting on the floor in the corner while holding Tessa with his face pressed against her belly. Tessa kicked her legs and tried to push his head away with her arms, but he didn’t budge. She laughed pretty loudly while N was nuzzling her belly. He lifted his head up and looked thoughtful.”Not quite as sweet as oil, but it’ll do.” He said before going back to nuzzling her belly.”Nom, nom, nom!” He said.
“N! Hahahahahaha! I’m nohohot food! Hahahahahahaha!” Tessa said through her wild giggling. James calmed down and smiled softly. He crossed his arms as he leaned against the doorway, deciding that he wouldn’t intervene unless he thought it was necessary, and judging by the way he’s seen N try to be gentle a few times before, James doubted that he’d have to any time soon.
POV Switch (also a few minutes earlier)
“Tessa...” N said quietly. Tessa jumped as he leapt around the corner with a smile on his face, one that was honestly slightly intimidating, but only because she knew what he was planning.”I’m coming for you!” He said. Tessa gasped and turned around to keep running, but she knew that unless she thought of something quickly, she’d get caught by the drone giving chase. She tried to think of a plan, but nothing she already tried worked. Hiding behind someone never works with N, he doesn’t even slow down. As Tessa ran passed the room her father usually sat down to read in, she thought she caught a glimpse of him watching her and N, but she was too busy trying to think through the playfully-panicked thoughts.
Tessa ran up the stairs to her room, turning around at the doorway to shut the door on N, but he had been right behind her and stopped the door from closing. Tessa pushed as hard as she could, her legs slipping before she put her foot back to try to get a better grip on the floor. She grunted as she pushed hard to close the door, but despite her struggles, N wasn’t moving. He slowly pushed the door open until Tessa realized she couldn’t win and ran further into the room. Her next idea was to hide under the bed, but N would pull her out. She couldn’t run past him towards the door, but he was standing right there and there was no way to avoid him grabbing her.
Tessa realized that she’d messed up too late and quickly turned around to see N slowly moving closer, much like a predator stalking towards their prey.“You didn’t think that far ahead, did you?” He joked, slowly creeping closer. Tessa held both hands up and smiled nervously as she backed away from him.”Hang on, I was just joking! I get it, you’re the faster one!” She said. N paused, and for a moment, Tessa thought that she could get out of the situation, but then he lunged at her and closed the distance between them almost faster than the scream coming out of Tessa’s throat.
She was quickly grabbed and lifted up while N sat down and placed her in his lap. She didn’t get the chance to fight back before he used his arms to hook under her and lift her up while lowering his head. He began to nibble and nuzzle her belly, which made her burst out into a fit of giggles. N felt her hands press against the side of his head, clearly trying to push him off, but he didn’t budge. When he lifted his head, it was from his own will.”Not quite as sweet as oil, but it’ll do.” He said. N lowered his head back down and continued nuzzling her belly, smiling as Tessa continued giggling.”Nom, nom, nom!” He said jokingly.
“N! Hahahahahaha! I’m nohohot food! Hahahahahahaha!” Tessa said. She squirmed around in his hold and kept trying to push his head off of her belly, but he didn’t let up. She noticed her dad leaning against the doorway of her room and moved an arm away from N’s face to reach out for him.”Dad, help! Hahahahahahaha! Hahahahaha! Tehell N I’m nohohohot foohoohood!” She pleaded. Surprisingly, N didn’t immediately stop and look at James anxiously upon realizing he was there. Instead, he kept nuzzling and nibbling Tessa’s belly. James let out a small, amused chuckle and began walking over.”Alright, don’t worry. I know exactly how to handle this.” He said. Hearing this and seeing him come closer, N finally looked up, but he didn’t stop his attack. He was still a little distrusting of him, despite his attempts to trust him completely and give him the benefit of the doubt. Even after a few weeks, there was still a small part of him wary and suspicious of the adult human.
James sat next to N and put a hand up to his chin thoughtfully with a hum. N still nibbled and nuzzled against Tessa’s belly to keep the game going incase whatever he was doing was harmless, but he kept an eye on him. Then James reached an arm towards N’s back.“If my memory serves correct, it should be riiight... Here!” James said, lightly scratching one of his wing hatches. The drone dropped Tessa and sat up straight with a squeal and loud laughter.
“AAAIIIIIHEHEHEHEHAHAHAHA!!!” He cackled. Tessa fell onto his lap and quickly took his chance to escape. N did his best to will his tail not to move and turned to move James’ arm so he’d stop tickling him, but unfortunately for him, Tessa was keen on revenge and came back to scratch and scribble her fingers near his ribcage.”Wahahahahait! Nohohoho! I’m the mohohohohonster!” He said through his laughter. N quickly backed away from Tessa and stood up fast enough to run past her and exit the room.”Hey!” Tessa whined. Before she could give chase, James wrapped his arms around her and pulled her into his lap to hug her.”You’re not going anywhere, young lady. Your father has lots of love to give you first.” He said. Tessa smiled and hugged back. The game could wait, she didn’t want to miss out on her father’s great hugs.

N: “Did you rob a bank!?”
V: “Serial Designation N. Do you really think so little of me?”
*ink bag explodes*
V: “…It was a credit union.”
Kahn: “Uzi, do you know why I give you your tiny allowance?”
Uzi: “Because if you called it ‘pay’ it would break child labor laws?”
Kahn: “Right!”
… N, watching Zombie Drones: “Uh…”
Cyn: “I wouldn’t remember this if I were you.”
Tessa: “Have you ever actually tried fighting fire with fire? I’m on a watchlist now.”
Doll, planning to kill V: “You sure you don’t want a funeral? I’m really good at funerals.”
Lizzy: “If I’m free next week sure, but right now I want a school dance.”
Uzi: “We can have our nervous breakdowns later. Everyone get it together!”
V: “Fine, but when we do get to have our nervous breakdowns, I go first.”
V: “I don’t want to hear any negative talk out of you. That’s my thing. So, if anyone’s going to tell you, ‘You’re going to get crushed like a bug,’ it’s going to be me.”
Uzi: “Talk about tough love.”
V: “I like to think of it more as soft hate.”
Tessa: “I don’t need companionship, I’ve been a human being for 21 years. Why would a 23 year old need another human in their life?”
N: “Wow, I keep stepping on a lot of crunchy twigs.”
Uzi: “...Those are bones, N.”
N: “Not if I never look down.”
