So! That old dadmato ending comic that I started back when I decided to try using my program's built in comic tools that I never used?

It's a nice challenge so I'm picking it back up again :D

It happens in some post-infection everything is fine AU where Knight gets adopted by Mato and they move to City of Tears together and everything is great.

It's a secret ending (Dadmato ending).

Okay, here are a few random ideas I thought of:

The village coming back to life as people find it again, and Elderbug watching happily

Young Hornet, possibly with her mom or with her nail when it was too big for her.

Sly before he becomes a merchant, when he was the Great Nailsage. Possibly while he was teaching young Oro, Mato, and Sheo.

Cloth reuniting with Nola. (Nola us mentioned a lot by cloth, but Nola is never actually seen in the game.)

Decided Sly gets to have had a fluffy collared cloak in the past that the Nailmaster Brothers decided to copy for their own signature cloaks. Honestly, everyone deserves a fluffy collared cloak.

Then of course tiny baby Hornet is always fun to draw.

Silly bittersweet feels AU idea

Grimmchild's existence is sad Nightmare lantern/The Troupe's corpse aren't far from Dirtmouth in Howling Cliffs, so Grimmchild out of grief and rejection would be compelled to return back to the last thing it senses familiarity towards.

The child eventually meets Mato upon getting lost on their way and/or he notices the lost little floating scarlet flame
