I’m pretty pleased with this nappy cake I made for my beautiful friend, who’s created another beautiful baby boy. 💙 For the bottom tier I used a candy tin. And covered the outside with a row of nappies, secured in place with a large elastic band. The tin worked as a place to store, clothes and booties. 💙 For the top tier I used solely nappies, again secured in place with a large elastic band. This sits perfectly on top of the bottom tier, hiding the tin. 💙 I used baby blue ribbon to cover the elastic bands. I kept a few pieces out of the tin, to decorate the top.
