I think that 10 signatures is the perfect amount. It gives the books a certain weight, a heft that makes them feel real without being too much.

The one on the bottom, with the sunset colors, has to be my favourite. I’m going to have a hard time parting with that one.

As usual, I don’t scrap anything, using the off cuts of the paper and the board to make notepads. Swipe ⏩ to see them.

My shelves are starting to get a little full. Unlike my paper cutting, book binding takes up a lot more room.

This was a fun, experimental notebook. I decided to play with mixed lined and unlined pages, and shortened signature wraps so the lined sheets wouldn’t affect the look of the spine.

I’ve also finally gotten some waxed thread, and I’m loving how much easier it makes my binding. I’ve yet to try my hand at waxing my own thread, but that’s on the to-do list now.

I learned quite a bit from this little book, and I’m hoping someone will be interested in finding the perfect use for this.
