Please read our first blog on Cow as the symbol of Hindu Rashtra.
Tumblr media
Mahatma Gandhi once stated, "One may judge a country's greatness and moral advancement by the way it treats its animals. For me, protecting cows entails more than just keeping them safe. It refers to the defence of everyone who is alive, weak, and defenceless throughout the planet. The entire subhuman world is symbolised by the cow.
The cow is a perfect example of the Hindu value of ahimsa, or non-harming, because of her submissive and accepting attitude. Additionally, the cow represents honour, sturdiness, perseverance, maternity, and unselfish service.
In the Hindu Mythology,The cow has also been linked to a number of gods, including Shiva (whose mount is the bull Nandi), Indra (who is closely linked to Kamadhenu, the cow that grants wishes), Krishna (who was a cowherd in his youth), and goddesses in general (because of the maternal attributes of many of them).
The Manu-smirti ("Tradition of Manu"), a religious and ethical law, forbids it in certain passages of the epic Mahabharata, while the milk cow was already described in the Rigveda as being "unslayable." The usage of the panchagavya, or the five byproducts of the cow—milk, curd, butter, pee, and dung—in rituals of healing, purification, and penance, reveals the level of reverence accorded to the animal.
To the Hindu, the cow symbolizes all other creatures. The cow is a symbol of the Earth, the nourisher, the ever-giving, undemanding provider. The cow represents life and the sustenance of life. The cow is so generous, taking nothing but water, grass and grain. It gives and gives and gives of its milk, as does the liberated soul give of his spiritual knowledge. The cow is so vital to life, the virtual sustainer of life, for many humans. The cow is a symbol of grace and abundance. Veneration of the cow instils in Hindus the virtues of gentleness, receptivity.
The cow represents all other creatures to Hindus. The cow is a representation of the Earth, the giver who never stops giving and making no demands. The cow stands for both life and its nutrition. The cow is incredibly kind, only taking water, grass, and grain. It continues to give and give and give of its milk, just as the freed soul continues to give and give of his spiritual wisdom. For many people, the cow serves as the literal sustainer of life. The cow represents beauty and abundance. Hindus are taught the virtues of gentleness and receptivity through the veneration of the cow.
India's politics has been based on this sensitive topic since many years. Specially,in the northern belt, every election is somewhere around this topic. The first law on cow slaughter was stated in Punjab by the Indian National Congress, but the Bhartiya Janta Party gave it the uttermost importance. In Gujrat, the punishment for cow slaughter is seven years or a lifetime imprisonment.
The young people of today are likewise interested in this subject. Cows have been one of the most popular topics in India since 2014 or so. Though they come from diverse political parties and beliefs, leaders like Uttar Pradesh's chief minister Yogi Adityanath, former chief minister Akhilesh Yadav, and up legislator Raghuraj Pratap Singh all share the belief that the cow is the symbol of Hinduism. The young people of India ought to take the cow seriously and show it as much respect as they can. Although many people believe that consuming red meat (specifically beef) can nourish them, doctors from all over the world claim that it really causes a wide range of illnesses. My request is to make the cow the symbol of Hinduism and The Hindu Rashtra 'Bharat.'

🔴BREAKING NEWS: BJP-led NDA got majority! But why did the BJP fail to get 300 seats this time? 🤔 What happened?
Indians closely followed the announcement of the latest election results, observing a surprising turn of events for the nationalist ruling government led by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which faced a humbling outcome yesterday.
In the 2019 elections, the BJP had a remarkable victory, securing 303 seats on its own. However, in the recent elections, the BJP's seat count significantly dropped to 240. Even with the support of its allies in the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), the coalition couldn't reach the 300-seat threshold.
Although the BJP, along with its NDA allies, still holds a majority, the new government will have to be formed through a coalition, as the BJP did not achieve a sole majority this time around. This marks a notable change in the political scenario, indicating a more collaborative governance structure ahead.
🧐 Why?
Several factors contributed to the decline in the BJP's popularity:
▪ High unemployment rates, rising inflation, and the controversial Agniveer scheme significantly damaged the party's standing among voters.
▪ Additionally, the BJP, particularly Prime Minister Narendra Modi, adopted an aggressive campaign strategy. Modi's campaign included several controversial remarks, such as the mangalsutra comment, the mujra remark, and the infiltrator comment, which sparked widespread criticism.
▪ Conversely, the Opposition performed effectively. They successfully consolidated votes through their I.N.D.I.A. alliance, and Akhilesh Yadav skillfully leveraged the PDA strategy.
▪ Furthermore, the Congress party made several enticing promises that, while potentially harmful to economic health (such as the Mahalaxmi scheme, increased MNREGA wages, and MSP guarantee), resonated positively with many voters.
😕What now?: ▪ Despite the disappointing results, the BJP still has the most seats independently and has the majority in Parliament with its allies in NDA.
▪ However, if the JDU and TDP choose to leave the NDA, Narendra Modi would not become the PM!
▪ The NDA is set to meet in Delhi today for the same!!! ❓Is Narendra Modi set to be PM? Or will the NDA betray the BJP?? Follow Jobaaj Stories (the media arm of Jobaaj.com Group for more)

PM Narendra Modi: The Most Followed Leader on X with 100 Million Followers.
With more than 100 million followers and a dominant global presence, Prime Minister Narendra Modi emerges as the most followed global figure on X.
By becoming the world's most followed leader on X, the social media network formerly known as Twitter, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has broken yet another milestone. With 100 million followers on all of his accounts, PM Modi has the greatest reach and influence on X, making him one of the most significant personalities in the digital sphere.
On X, PM Narendra Modi
Using X as a powerful tool for connection and communication, the PM has been using the platform since he joined in 2009. His number of followers surpassed 100 million, making him much more popular than Indian politicians and even world leaders. Arvind Kejriwal, the chief minister of Delhi, has 27.5 million followers, while Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the opposition, has 26.4 million. Akhilesh Yadav of the Samajwadi Party has 19.9 million followers, while West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has 7.4 million.
The Prime Minister has a far larger following than other national politicians. For example, 6.3 million people follow fellow Indian politician Lalu Prasad Yadav, 5.2 million follow his son Tejashwi Yadav, and 2.9 million follow the leader of the Nationalist Congress Party, Sharad Pawar. This merely serves to highlight how popular and influential PM Modi is on the platform compared to others.
International Leadership in X
Furthermore, PM Modi's exposure in the global stage on X is even more remarkable. With 55.5 million followers, he is far ahead of US President Joe Biden, who only has 38.1 million followers. When it comes to followers, PM Modi has a lot more than the other world leaders combined, including HH Sheikh Mohammed, the Ruler of Dubai, who has 11.2 million, and Pope Francis, who has 18.5 million.
For instance, American basketball player LeBron James has 52.9 million followers, Brazilian football player Neymar Jr. has 63.6 million, and Indian cricket legend Virat Kohli has 64.1 million.
When compared to celebrities in the entertainment industry as well, PM Modi has a massive fan base. On the site, he has more followers than Kim Kardashian (75.2 million), Lady Gaga (83.1 million), and Taylor Swift (95.3 million).
Development and Involvement
With his handle "X," PM Narendra Modi has amassed nearly 30 million users in just the last three years. This sudden influx of followers can only indicate that millions of people worldwide are finding his engaging and educational postings to be insightful. In contrast to all other prominent accounts, PM Modi's X account has grown entirely naturally—without the use of bots or sponsored advertisements.

Arvind Kejriwal's Stance on Rahul Gandhi's PM Candidacy: What He Revealed
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal clarified his position amidst speculation surrounding his potential candidacy as Prime Minister if the Congress-led INDIA bloc triumphs in the Lok Sabha elections. Kejriwal refrained from commenting on Rahul Gandhi’s suitability as a prime ministerial candidate, emphasizing that such discussions had not occurred and that the INDIA bloc would decide after the election results.
Tumblr media
Kejriwal highlighted the Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) limited presence in the elections, contesting only 22 seats, suggesting that his chances of becoming PM at this juncture are slim. “I don’t have any intention of becoming the next PM if the INDIA bloc wins,” he stated to news agency PTI. Kejriwal, currently on bail after his involvement in the liquor policy case, asserted his objective to safeguard the nation from what he described as a “dictatorship,” warning that opposition leaders would face incarceration if the BJP returns to power.
This isn’t the first instance Kejriwal has addressed inquiries regarding an INDIA PM candidate. Last week, during a press conference in Lucknow, he unequivocally stated, “No, I am not,” when asked about his potential candidacy in the event of an INDIA victory.
The INDIA coalition, established last June to unite opposition forces against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP’s bid for a third term, is contesting without a designated candidate for the top position. The BJP, meanwhile, continues to rally behind Modi’s leadership.
Home Minister Amit Shah, campaigning in Bengal’s Ghatal, criticized the opposition, alleging their failure to name a candidate reflects their lack of leadership. He accused them of seeking to perpetuate a “dynasty” and asserted that the opposition lacked a vision for the country’s development.
The BJP’s attack on the opposition extends to the Congress and the Gandhi family, with Prime Minister Modi recently targeting Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav with the “dynasty” accusation.
Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, perceived as the principal PM contender for the opposition, outlined the bloc’s strategy, emphasizing that the candidate would be chosen collectively after the election results. Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge echoed this sentiment, stating that the focus should be on winning the election before considering individual projections.
The selection of a PM candidate, according to Gandhi, will involve consultation among all INDIA constituents, emphasizing the coalition’s united approach to the electoral process.

"Today in Politics: PM Modi in Maharashtra, Shah and Rahul Gandhi in Odisha"
Today marks another eventful day in Indian politics as leaders from various parties embark on campaign trails and political engagements across the country.
Tumblr media
PM Modi’s Campaign Trail:
After a powerful show of strength during his nomination in Varanasi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi shifts his focus to Maharashtra. Scheduled to address rallies in Dindori, Kalyan, and Ghatkopar within the Mumbai North East Lok Sabha constituencies, Modi’s campaign continues ahead of the fifth phase of polling on May 20. Notably, this comes in the wake of a tragic incident in Ghatkopar, where an illegal hoarding collapse claimed lives and left many injured.
Amit Shah’s Itinerary:
Union Home Minister Amit Shah begins his day with a rally in Hooghly, West Bengal, before heading to Odisha. Upon reaching Bhubaneswar, Shah will address public meetings in Sorada and Boudh, followed by a roadshow in Cuttack. However, reports suggest that Rourkela and Kantabanji have been omitted from his schedule, raising speculations.
Rahul Gandhi’s Engagement:
Meanwhile, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi gears up for a bike rally in Odisha’s Bolangir, while party president Mallikarjun Kharge is anticipated to host a joint press conference with Arvind Kejriwal and Akhilesh Yadav in Lucknow. The collaborative effort signifies a strategic move towards strengthening alliances and garnering support.
AAP’s Campaign Plans:
Arvind Kejriwal, the national convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party, is set to campaign across multiple states, starting with Lucknow on May 15, followed by Jamshedpur and Mumbai. The AAP aims to bolster support for INDIA bloc candidates through targeted campaigns and engagements.
Haryana Cabinet Meeting:
Amidst the ongoing political turmoil in Haryana, the Nayab Singh Saini-led government has convened a Cabinet meeting. Expected to unveil and approve the excise policy for 2024–25, speculations also arise regarding the recommendation for convening an Assembly session amidst the evolving political landscape.
As the political landscape continues to evolve and electoral fervor intensifies, these developments underscore the significance of strategic campaigns, alliance-building, and governance amidst challenges and opportunities.

Meanwhile, BJP leaders JP Nadda, Amit Shah, and Rajnath Singh are all set for rallies in various states including Haryana, Jharkhand, West Bengal, and Odisha.

M K Stalin's Vision for Tamil Nadu: A Journey Towards Democracy and Social Justice
In the bustling political landscape of Tamil Nadu, amidst the echoes of historical legacies and the clamor for a brighter future, CM M K Stalin stands as a beacon of hope. With a resolute determination and a vision deeply rooted in the principles of democracy and social justice, Stalin charts the course for a new era in Tamil Nadu’s political narrative.
Tumblr media
As he stands against the backdrop of his father’s legacy, the late DMK stalwart M Karunanidhi, Stalin exudes confidence, ready to lead Tamil Nadu into what he terms “a second struggle for Independence” in the forthcoming elections. Having already proven his mettle by leading the DMK to sweeping victories in both the Lok Sabha polls of 2019 and the state Assembly elections of 2021, Stalin emerges as the face of hope for the INDIA bloc in Tamil Nadu.
In an exclusive interview with The Indian Express, Stalin articulates his anti-BJP stance, portraying it as a fight against the central government’s hegemony. He emphasizes the critical importance of defending the core values of India: democracy, secularism, and pluralism. With unwavering determination, he positions the DMK and its allies as bulwarks against what he perceives as fascist forces threatening the nation’s democratic fabric.
Stalin acknowledges the uphill battle ahead but expresses confidence in the strength of his team, which includes prominent leaders like Akhilesh Yadav, Arvind Kejriwal, and Uddhav Thackeray. Together, they stand united in their commitment to safeguarding Indian democracy from authoritarian tendencies.
Reflecting on his tenure as CM, Stalin highlights the Dravidian model’s core ethos of “Everything for Everyone.” He underscores his administration’s focus on education, social justice, and skill development, aiming to fulfill the vision of an educated and equitable Tamil Nadu.
Addressing the issue of political corruption, Stalin emphasizes transparency and accountability as fundamental pillars of democracy. He points to the escalating financial demands of elections and the Supreme Court’s scrutiny of the BJP government’s electoral finance practices as indicators of the challenges faced in maintaining integrity in politics.
While the DMK’s influence in national politics is significant, Stalin emphasizes that its goals extend beyond mere ministerial positions. Rooted in the principles of federalism, secularism, and diversity, the DMK has played a pivotal role in shaping India’s political landscape, contributing to alliances and movements aimed at national welfare.
In navigating the evolving political landscape, Stalin emphasizes the importance of ideological commitment, contrasting it with the BJP’s strategy of cultivating larger-than-life personas. He sees a dynamic young leader like Rahul Gandhi as a potential challenger to the manufactured image of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Stalin’s success in maintaining a united alliance in Tamil Nadu reflects his leadership style, which prioritizes shared principles over political expediency. He envisions a legacy defined by steadfastness in upholding the values of Dravidianism and unwavering dedication to public service.
Beyond politics, Stalin’s personal interests reflect a multifaceted persona. From his passion for cricket to his dedication to physical fitness and his love for cinema, Stalin embodies a holistic approach to life, grounded in family values and cultural heritage.
As he forges ahead in his journey, Stalin remains steadfast in his commitment to serving the people of Tamil Nadu, guided by the principles of democracy, social justice, and inclusivity. In his vision lies the promise of a brighter future for Tamil Nadu, where every citizen has the opportunity to thrive and prosper.

Why so Unparliamentary Mahua?
Tumblr media
Since the dawn of independence a lot of faith has been put on the shoulders of our great leaders, to carry on the aspirations of this great nation and its people. These leaders not only represent the people, but also the ideals, culture and dignity of the entire nation. They are expected to be well-mannered, well-kept and are to address the peope and their fellow politicians with respect, even if they disagree on certain issues. But sadly this is only a fairy tale as one cannot expect parliamentarians to do so.
Just today Mahua Moitra used the word "harami" against her peers in parliament. This is not a new thing for Miss Moitra, who in the past has described India as a "su-su potty democracy" and has jumped into many similar controversies in the past. Miss Moitra, a former banker, who complains about poverty while sporting a Louis Vitton handbag, and has showed the middle finger to Arnab Goswamy during a debate and uses constant "Gomutra" jibes against the ruling party, is no stranger to controversy and is nothing new. But what is sad is the total disregrad of the parliamentary rules and violation of the sanctity of basic manners in the parliament. Although the Constitution protects parliamentarians from arrest stating that, "no Member of Parliament shall be liable to proceedings in any court in respect of anything said in parliament", the members must atleast maintain a sense of decency while addresing te house. Under Rule 380 of The Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the Lok Sabha, the Speaker is given power to expunge the ords that are defamatory and Rule 352 states tha a member shall not reflect on the conduct of the person in high authority except on a substantive motion dawn in proper terms. But all these rules falls on deaf ears and by not suspending Miss Moitra the Speaker is only encouraging such behaviour in the future.
The real losers of this whole affair are the citizens who expect a basic decency from their leaders and proper debate in the parliament. Gone are the days when great speeches and debates of Vajpayee, Advani and Sushma Swaraj were held and also gone are the days where there was basic decency in the parliament.
