Tall and lanky, they arched over her body which physically shook- their hair brushed her face and in turn, her breathing puffed against their chest. All while a long, cold hand came to rest on the door handle before gently pushing the door shut.

Authors Note: I am required to write Narkag or I will be haunted. The title is the only thing I could think of despite it being very blah since that just Kagome's name.

Please keep in mind I use plural pronouns for Naraku when it is Naraku's third person point of view. Experimental

Okay Inuyasha fans hear me out just hear me out in this okay.

Remember how Kagome and Naraku were trapped in the jewel to be continue the cycle of good and evil within it? But Inuyasha broke in and found her via the power of love?

What if he didn’t find the actual Kagome? Just a facsimile of her. Why would the Shikon just give her up without any trick?

Inuyasha leaves none the wiser, he thinks he’s saved Kagome. But he hasn’t. She’s still stuck there, stuck with Naraku and there’s nothing that either can do but interact with each other for eternity.

Makes you wonder what could happen, doesn’t it?

Oh man!! I've been thinking about this for a while now

YEAH IN, that particular AU Naraku still serves as an antagonistic force to InuKag, though it's muuuuuch more low stakes than the canonical version. He just doesn't like Inuyasha and constantly butts heads with him, he also thinks that Inuyasha would hold Kagome back...

As a person Naraku still sucks in this universe, he's selfish and scheming, manipulative and malicious...a real piece of work. But as a dad, he prioritizes Kagome's future above everything. He just suffers from the idea that he always knows what's best for her.

Not to mention that Kagome, also a tsundere, has absolutely vented to her dad about Inuyasha and how much of an inconsiderate jerk he is (not to mention the couple of times she's come back home in tears over something he told her or if he saw him with Kikyo).

Happy Spooky Season! (Yes, I know it is September. Spooky starts as soon as the clouds come out. Fight me)

There’s been so much Inuyasha stuff floating around due to the sequel coming out, I have been inspired! But in a terrible, horrible way. I mean, they both pine for someone they can’t have, and could grow out of it. They could. I’m sure of it, rather than staying in self-destructive patterns. (Also, they’re just so gosh darn cute).

Oh not exactly. A Spider for a Stone is a role reversal, with Naraku taking Inuyasha’s place, and Inuyasha taking Naraku’s place.

Inuyasha and Naraku have a fair amount of parallels, so it’s fun to play with the differences. Naraku, especially young and freshly formed would definitely take an interest in learning future subjects (primarily as he used to be a bandit, so here he is getting to partake in things that are usually reserved for nobility. It’s all about boosting his ego and getting satisfaction that he’s able to do things he shouldn’t be allowed to do.)

Naraku is so much more patient then Inuyasha is, so he’s not going to be constantly pushing Kagome to ignore her studies in favor of chasing after the jewel shards. He can’t learn anything if she’s too busy fighting demons after all. If anything, Kagome is going to be the one trying to push him to move faster. He’s trying to set himself up for a long term mastermind plan, but she has to set the fire under him, because she’s not going to spend a decade waiting around for opportunities to show up.

As for shipping, nothing is certain. But I can tell you that Narkag is fairly likely!
