This year, I'm trying to use up all the sheet masks and little samples I have lying around, so I went ahead and opened up this @bliss sheet mask. Honestly, it was fine, it hydrated and I think that's all these masks do. They really plump up your skin and make it look amazing, but if you have an extra dollar at the drugstore, buy yourself some gum, not a sheet mask. I'd like a mask that peels... gives me a peel.. that's what I'm into right now. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Ok, here are quick reviews of everything else that I finished: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ @amika Power Hour Curl Refreshing Spray. I've been using this since I got it and I really like it on wet hair as a light conditioner. They say that you could use this to refresh curls, but there's a bit of hold, and you might just get buildup because you're adding product to hair that already has product in it. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ @vichylaboratoires Normaderm cleanser. This cleanser smells SO GOOD and I even used it to wash my brushes... it smells a bit like patchouli and cedar. The serum in this line smells the same way and it's one of my favourites, so check this line out if you have oily skin. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ @narsissist Laguna Bronzer Mini. Look at how little there is left... the part on the right side just fell out, so I thought it's time to throw this away. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Finished a @maccosmeticscanada lipgloss from forever ago. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ A little mini @katesomervilleskincare Exfoli-Kate which I adore. NARS Laguna Bronzing Powder Review

this was one of the first bronzers (maybe even the first, i can’t remember) that i ever bought and i fell in love with it immediately and still love it now, years later. i have this bronzer in the shade laguna (it only comes in one other shade, casino, which is only slightly darker, unfortunately) and this shade is a wonderful shade for a bronzer. it never, ever, ever pulls orange yet it also never has the problem of having to build it up and build it up and build it up and still barely seeing any difference. this bronzer is one of those products that just works.

is this my favorite bronzer though? it was, for a long time, especially when it was the only one i owned! haha, but honestly, even though i’ve found bronzers since falling in love with this one that i tend to use more often and prefer, i still find myself coming back to this one on certain days where i just want to go back to what i know works, y’know?

worth repurchasing?

i hit pan on this nars bronzing powder several months ago and now i’m down to the very last bit but i haven’t repurchased it yet. i say ‘yet’ because i know i’m going to, eventually. it’s just one of those products i know i’ll miss when i don’t have it. but it’s kind of also one of those products that’s a bit… boring to buy. like, it’s so easy to fall into the hype and excitement of brand new makeup and everything, so it’s hard to know when’s the best time to go for that new new or repurchase something tried and true.

what’s a product that you know you want to repurchase, but it’s still kind of a boring thing to buy? i hope you get what i mean by that haha! like something that you love but it’s just same old, same old. let me know in the comments!

All black everything. Just some things I’ve been using. @bareminerals Translucent setting powder: it’s fine. This is a pressed powder and most of the time I use loose powder. But this is ok, and it’s silky smooth so I like that. Honestly, I never powder my face out of the house so I don’t really need a pressed version of anything. @narsissist Bronzer, still using this. @benefitcanada Badgal Bang mascara. The mascara is one to try - it gives you the darkest most black pigment and it’s definitely something I haven’t seen in cheaper mascaras which totally makes this worth it.
