Notable for two things:
1. Phil Robertson as having the best sense of humour among the drivers. Nathan also trying to keep it together on occasion as well.
2. That Abu Dhabi will host the final race of Season Five. Have money, will buy your way into the league.
And I actually enjoyed this discussion, among the commentators. We don’t hear reflection from them often, so bring more of this on, I say!

The AC 40 and LEQ12 in one design configuration match racing in Auckland Harbour and in the back paddock

This is a short clip.
Andy Maloney, Nathan Outterridge and Blair Tuke (I think) on one of the crafts.
Sharp turns in front of the chase boat and one of gets some air at the very end!
(Let me know if you can tell which is which in terms of their configuration).

Sea trials in NZ
The crew is so tucked away, you can’t see them!

Bizarre to see Nathan in ETNZ kit, but I suppose we will get used to it.

Timely of them to invite a certain Aussie on as an advisor.

More upcoming paternity leave news for SailGP
Damn it all, the breeding is getting out of hand.
Nice opportunity for Nathan though to temporarily helm Amokura.

So what have we learned from the latest Racing on the Edge? Here’s a top 10 list in no particular order:
10. Nathan Outerridge is still pissed that Ben Ainslie managed to lure Ian “Goobs” Jensen away from his team. C’mon Nath, isn’t nothing personal, it’s only $ (just like everything in Sail GP). Time to let that go.
9. Please don’t let Ray Davies in the kitchen, EVER. But Josh Junior can stay for his scrambled eggs and so can Louis Sinclair for his common sense.
8. Tom Slingsby is loving his media attention. The only one to carry the « cracking the code » message, oh so dutifully. No wonder he’s their current golden boy. Okay, yeah, the on-water performances help too.
7. Blair Tuke has a nice, smooth back. Wax much? How considerate. (Thanks go out to Sail GP’s Director of Photography).
6. Peter Burling continues to be the most humble, self-effacing Kiwi out there. Never change Pete!
5. Oh Nicolai Sehasted! Never think the race is in the bag - until you’ve crossed the finish line. But we love your team’s improvement.
4. Lisa Darminin is doing a great job. She is clear, interesting and the camera loves her. Time for a raise @SailGP!
3. Hurray - the racing was planned to happen every weekend. Wow. We ❤️ Russell and Larry’s ambition for the league.
2. Kiwis find being different easy and conforming hard.
1. Blair Tuke is adorably semi-flustered and proud when speaking Māori. Ka pai e hoa!
