I’ve always wanted to create my own splatoon oc band so I would love to introduce you toooo….
Tumblr media
This is “Live Bait” a band situated in the Splatlands and often rival Deep Cut in the music industry!
Tumblr media
This band consists of two- an octoling by the name of Nauticus and a inkling by the name Anemone. I can’t make music but the best way to describe their style would be a mix of Off the Hook and Sashimori
(I used a base to for the outline but I will make my own later:))

only one of the "Mermaids of Norfolk" series ~ Virginia, USA ~ top or first two photos by Kevin Girard
"A mermaid has been the signature symbol of the City of Norfolk since 2002.  The idea of a “Mermaid Parade” came up in 1999, and was implemented with local bronze sculptor Kevin Gallup mass-producing 130 mermaid castings for local businesses, artists and homeowners to sponsor and decorate.
The result was mermaids all over the city, and enthusiastic support for the city adopting the mermaid as its symbol.  At least 80 mermaids have been customized and placed around the city.
To this day the mermaid is the symbol of the city, and is part of the official city logo, its website and social media sites, and it now has this much larger mermaid fountain in Town Point Park on the edge of Elizabeth River, next to the Nauticus maritime museum." ~ https://mermaidsofearth.com

Aquanaut (2021) by Nauticus Robotics, Houston, TX. Pictured here undergoing testing at NASA's Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory in Houston, Aquanaut is a shape-changing submersible robot. Like an undersea transformer, it morphs from a streamlined, propeller-powered torpedo into a two-armed robot with claw-like hands, and a face with a suite of cameras and other sensors. “What NASA really taught us to do is to put together robust software autonomy with a capable hardware morphology and deploy it in a remote setting. Whether a robot is working in space or on the ocean floor, the biggest commonality is that the operator is far away, with limited communication and knowledge of the robot’s surroundings” – Nic Radford, founder, chairman, president, and CEO of Nauticus Robotics Inc.

Venica chiamato Panis quadratus.

WHAT YOUR MUSE WILL NOTICE ABOUT MINE | human!melody
Tumblr media
WHAT THEY LOOK LIKE: light, pale skin that appears untouched. thin, dark gray hair that bobs at her shoulders and bangs that end right over her eyes, ever-watchful with bright red irises (the red pigment of her eyes seemed to “carry over” that way). simple clothes that fit too large. an infectious smile that makes her cheeks pop. she stims with her hands often, fumbling and wringing them together. shy and kept to herself when alone, but very physically intimate with her loved ones.
WHAT THEY SMELL LIKE: whatever junk she’s gotten herself into. clothes worn one too many times and probably washed poorly. (it's an unfamiliar, exhausting task; can you blame her?). not great!
WHAT THEY TASTE LIKE: in a purely figurative sense, probably the rich, soft, sweet taste of a little brownie bite! something so small, and yet there's so much about it to savor.
WHAT THEY SOUND LIKE: a frequent outside voice (she has to learn to tone it down; we can hear you!). otherwise her voice is soft and playful. a lot of the time she uses “um’s” and “uh’s” and “well’s” and “gee’s” when she’s beginning to say something or has to stop and think—a habit she picked up from her father. she’ll hum during idle tasks or when she feels a happy sensation. like from a tasty treat!
WHAT THEY FEEL LIKE: soft, plump skin without any blemishes, scars, or other marks. like a beloved stuffed animal, you want to hold her close at all times. and she’ll hold you close and tight, perhaps too tight. her little hands are deceptively strong; she has to learn to control her grip strength like how babies do.
