Anlässlich der Directions EMEA 2017 präsentierte Microsoft seine Pläne für Dynamics NAV 2018 und dessen Online-Zwilling SaaS, das vorerst unter dem Arbeitstitel Dynamics 365 “Tenerife” firmiert.

Der Verkaufsstart für NAV 2018 ist für den 1.Dezember 2017 vorgesehen, während Tenerife und NAV 2018 R2 im Frühjahr 2018 verfügbar sein sollen. Tenerife wird zeitgleich in 14 Ländern eingeführt, darunter auch Italien.

DEr ZEITPLAN FÜR NAV 2018 UND DYNAMICS 365

Aus der Roadmap, die von Microsoft auf der EMEA verbreitet wurde, ist ersichtlich, dass Microsoft sowohl auf On-Premise-Modelle wie auch auf Cloud-Lösungen setzt. NAV 2018 arriva il 1° dicembre 2017

Oltre 2000 persone assistono al keynote di Directions EMEA 2017 a Madrid

A Directions EMEA 2017, Microsoft ha illustrato i piani relativi al lancio di Dynamics NAV 2018 e del suo "gemello SaaS", nome in codice Dynamics 365 "Tenerife" (la versione online in subscription di NAV).

Il lancio di NAV 2018 è previsto per il 1° dicembre 2017, mentre Tenerife e NAV 2018 R2 saranno disponibili nella primavera del 2018. Al momento del lancio, Tenerife sarà disponibile in 14 paesi, tra cui ovviamente l'Italia.

L'agenda di NAV 2018 e Dynamics 365

Dalla "roadmap" condivisa da Microsoft a Directions EMEA è evidente l'intenzione di continuare a supportare le soluzioni ERP sia on-premise sia nel cloud, secondo una “and strategy” analoga a quella di EOS Solutions, che offre ai propri clienti la classica alternativa del software on-premise e allo stesso tempo promuove le soluzioni native nel cloud.

Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2018, qualche anticipazione

A Inspire 2017 Microsoft ha condiviso con la comunità dei Partner la roadmap dei suoi prodotti di punta, tra cui non può mancare l'ERP dedicato alle medie e piccole aziende Microsoft Dynamics NAV, utilizzato da oltre un milione di persone nel mondo.

Affiancata da Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Business Edition (la versione online in subscription di NAV, non ancora disponibile in Italia), la nuova release di Dynamics NAV, nome in codice 'Tenerife’, dovrebbe chiamarsi NAV 2018.

La roadmap di Microsoft Dynamics

Vediamo qualche novità...

NAV 2018 integrerà i servizi cognitivi basati su Azure, come la capacità di identificare le immagini nel contesto delle entità correlate. Per esempio, la foto di un articolo può essere analizzata per determinare la categoria più appropriata cui assegnarla. Oppure la foto di un dipendente può essere analizzata per determinarne il genere e l'età.

Tra le nuove opzioni di integrazione, segnaliamo Microsoft Bookings, per pianificare e gestire facilmente gli appuntamenti con i clienti, e Microsoft Flow per automatizzare i processi di approvazione. L'integrazione bi-direzionale con Excel consentirà inoltre di modificare i dati di contabilità generale direttamente dall'interno del foglio di calcolo. Ultima ma non ultima, citiamo l'integrazione con le schede contatto e i promemoria di Outlook.
