　 　 "Your kind has been killing my brothers for centuries", seethes Renjun. Pink human hide is smouldering off his true carmine skin. Sunshine bounces on it with mesmerising ruby highlights, and through the haze of pain from broken bones Jaemin thinks how otherworldly beautiful his real nature is.

"But... You are... All of you... Are very dangerous..." it's hard for Jaemin to talk, his voice is hoarse.

"And you aren't any better than us", demon steps with clawed foot on priest's chest. "I was born from a girl's body who died from her mother's hands, and where was your God when she was screaming and crying for help? Where was the Church?"

Silence.

"Your God created us in his own image, and kicked us from Heaven, because it turned out that we have our own will, and he didn't like it. Do you think that he is fair and loving and merciful after this?"

Black lips curl into furious grimace.

"Then we fell from sky and we had a taste of life, and we thirsted for pleasure and satisfaction of our hunger, just as any other living being did. And then your kind decided that we didn't deserve to live and made us taste our own blood. Tell me, priest, how many demons perished under your silver crosses and golden bullets?"

"It's... it's not like that... Your understanding of it is twisted, you all are twisted up from the inside..."

Demon growls and presses his foot deeper in Jaemin's broken ribs. There's no more strength to scream in human's body, so he just chokes on his own blood that fills his lungs, and rolls eyes in a fit of a white-hot pain.

"W-wa-a-it! But... I am... I am... You are... Wonderful. Endlessly alluring, majestic creature", he weakly smiles, talks with long, wheezy pauses. "I see how you were an angel once... You are divine... Warm... And- and seductive... Though merciless, abusive... Yet there's beauty in your beast... I fell in love with you the second we met, even though I knew from that very second that you were dangerous... The Lord is kind... He really works in mysterious ways, huh? He brought you to me and made me a sinner... For you."

Wicked smile blooms on Renjun's face, red eyes flash under dark blue lashes with the triumph, and Jaemin thinks that demon's eyes are like the bullets that he fired into the hundreds heads of other demons.

In the red left hand materializes flaming sword, just like Michael's one, and Renjun raises it over his head.

"Then come and feel alive for the last time, sinner. Shout louder about your love for the demon, and maybe your God will hear you."

Jaemin lifts his weak arm to protect eyes from the blinding sun, and looks at his magnificent vermilion doom for the last time. With tears in his eyes, priest whispers "I love you", knowing for sure that his God is going to hear him — he's right here.
