Rockets breakthrough with our friend was amazing! This baby was a hot mess when we first got him. I’ve worked with him one on one every single day for 4 hours a day since we got him. 4,380 hours of training has gone into getting Rocket to where he is today. PTSD and anxiety have been a thing of the past thanks to the CBD tinctures provided by @kurapet although, he does have breakthrough episodes sometimes but it’s easier to calm him nowadays than it used to be. The first few days in a new place always makes all parties involved a bit anxious. To help curb anxiety we use CBD oil in order to help keep the animals comfortable as we ease them into a new a new routine and eventually we taper them off of it. Mantis and the President will be doing one on one contact with her alone and will be working on building a relationship so that she can grow with us. Our relationships with each of our animals has been cultivated from the moment we make eye contact. Building on the very first positive interaction the bond between a human and an animal can grow exponentially. Our President’s behavior modification handbook is part of our proprietary research in order to find the best therapies to help exotic animals that have behavioral issues that may put them at risk of euthanasia. Because we are still studying the effects of the training methodology the handbook isn’t available for people to read. Today we are on our way to pick up a new owner surrender. Mantis is 1 year old and we will be her 4th and final home. We had to buy a couple of panels so we could make a double door for our fox enclosure since one of the foxes squeezed between our legs and ended up between the perimeter fence.
