Orange County Regional History Center, 1927. The downtown Orlando building that houses @historycenterfl began its life in 1927 as the Orange County Courthouse, replacing the original courthouse from 1892. It was then replaced in turn by a new 23-story high-rise tower in 1995, and in 2000 the History Center moved in.
