I sort of have a head-canon where instead of young Disciple having a secret crush on Sufferer, mirroring Nepeta and Karkat, that it's actually the Sufferer who likes the Disciple. Then, I don't know,  Dream-Bubble-Double-Ancestor/Decendant-Feelings-Confessions-Advice-Shenanigans ensue.

her name was bellae csidhe (beh-lay k'-seethe in my head but its really up to the reader)

she heard of the sufferer, occasionally witnessed speeches and battles, but never actually met him

she never joined him because she was not inclined to; green bloods were very neutral about the entire thing, because they were too high for lowbloods to trust and too low for highbloods to trust so she was not a disciple rather she watched the entire ordeal as an unbiased third party as an observer she was, instead, the minstrel

like the disciple, she documented her observations, but rather than prose, she documented poetry and, of course, as a bard, she sang her tales

many learned of the sufferer during the revolution by her songs, as she traveled quite frequently and many of her songs about the sufferer carried on long after his body rotted away so it is still thanks to her that his tale lived on in spite of the condesce' efforts to remove him from history (of course, as a neutral party, she also composed tales from the highbloods' point of view though she was known mostly for telling the sufferer's tale, she composed many, many other tales of completely different trolls and stories) 

she was an artist as well as a poet, occasionally illustrating her ballads she also carved and strung her own lutes and flutes, which were, like her voice, nearly unmatched in quality and beauty

after the rebellion was quelled, she happened upon darkleer in his exile while traversing beyond the empire's reaches they became fast friends, and in time, moirails she sang every ballad she'd composed to him, so most of his knowledge about the revolution came from her the life of an exile, however, was difficult enough to sustain one troll, and she eventually had to leave to return to society

she happened to be the bard of light in their pre-scratch session; bard because she was just that, and a hero of light in the aspect that she helped to shed light on otherwise forbidden topics
