I keep just. Thinking about Aranea and all the missed potential there is with her relationships with the other dancestors.

Like, she's got funky things going on with Meenah (the only other important dancestor) and that's it. That's just boring.

Mindfang literally dated almost half of the other ancestora, and most of the other half seem to have been dead by the time she was doing all that piracy! Like, she had Dualscar as a kismesis, it's implied she had flushed feelings for the Dolorosa, she had the Summoner as a matesprit and she mentions that she and Redglare could have been kismeses at some point if Redglare hadn't been very dedicated to bringing Mindfang to justice. She also had stuff going on with the Expatriate/Darkleer.

How many of these relationships do the dancestors reflect? WELL. Apparently Aranea and Porrim had a redrom fling at one point, but Porrim seems to have had a lot of redrom flings so it doesn't really count. And she doesn't like Cronus, but no one likes Cronus, so, again, it doesn't count.

Where is the DRAMA? It honestly feels like Aranea and Meenah are from a seprate group of characters than the rest of the dancestors. Nothing fun happens!

Just needed to do some complaining. AU or fanfic could probably fix this very easily but I can't be asked right this second.

i do think the dolarosa should’ve been allowed to murder darkleer, but the disciple was the only one to escape, the psiioniic and dolarosa were sold into slavery, so they wouldn’t have the chance to kill him
