gente, já pararam pra pensar que os artrópodes são literalmente os it girls do reino animal? tipo assim, eles têm um exoesqueleto, que é basicamente um casaco fashionista que eles nunca tiram, mesmo no calor de 40 graus 🔥. é como andar de jaqueta de couro, mas versão biológica.

o exoesqueleto é tipo uma armadura polivalente:

proteção: é o “não toque em mim” mais poderoso da natureza. quem vai se meter com um caranguejo ou uma barata? ninguém, bb!

estrutura: enquanto a gente precisa de ossos internos pra ficar em pé, eles só dizem "não preciso de apoio emocional" e seguram tudo por fora mesmo.

estilo de vida: é impermeável! ou seja, nem chuva nem lágrima dos predadores afetam esses icons.

✨ mas tem um plot twist! ✨ como eles não crescem dentro dessa armadura, precisam tirar ela de tempos em tempos. imagina o rolê: é tipo trocar de pele, mas num nível super cringe. se chama muda (não eles, a pele!). nesse momento, eles ficam super vulner��veis, tipo a gente sem skincare em público.

moral da história: o exoesqueleto dos artrópodes é o crossover perfeito entre utilidade e moda, deixando claro que a natureza ama um bom design funcional. e você, já agradeceu seu esqueleto interno hoje? 😂

Received my two degrees today. A lot of people do know this and a lot don't- NMIMS was my third University. I had first joined BMM at St. Xavier's Mumbai, which I left to join BFTech. at NIFT Mumbai. I was skipping colleges due to underlying mental health issues; even though both Xavier's and NIFT are prestigious institutes. What if I had the opportunity to go back in time? Would I still leave them if things were different and I knew then what I know now? HELLL YESSS!!! . Now a lot of you might contemplate that I am implying NMIMS is a much better college. Well... I won't dive into that and I am not implying anything. But this is the place I stayed for five years at and survived. I found great friends here who shall stay the same forever (shoutout to #AreYouGuysDone , to #DumbledoresArmy , to #NerdVibes and other circles I was a part of. I am tagging all members in the last carousel card 😁). I found LOVE here ❤️- @arushiii___ (Top that Harvard) and I think there is no other argument needed. I battled a lot for my mental peace prior to coming to this college. And it was all uphill from there. This college gave me unparalleled happiness and unequivocal peace. Today I am raising this hypothetical glass of whisky 🥃 as a toast to this long journey, which though has ended, but has given rise to many more journeys of my life. It has bestowed me with much more in life than I can account for (including these two customary degrees and a strange 'Student Ambassador' award which I don't know what to do of 😝). . Lastly, thanks also to those people who thought they were making my life difficult as a CR (You know who you are 😛). I am sorry to say you couldn't... Ever. Hi! I saw in your about page that you use both the Milan markers and Crayola supertips, and I was wondering which is better in your opinion? I'm looking to buy a set of one of them but can't decide which!

hi there! they’re both pretty inexpensive, but personally i think the Milan markers are more suitable if you’re planning to letter with them! for me the Crayola markers’ tips blunt really quickly so that’s why i prefer the Milan markers!

11. tell us about your first crush?

haha, well i’ve had a lot of little crushes, mostly squishes (platonic friend crushes) and everything, but i think my real first crush was my friend Nic in 7th grade. I had turned him down before, then I kept pursuing him after I realized I liked him and yeah, it was really awkward. i was a pretty terrible middle schooler so I just push those memories out of my mind. we dated in 9th grade actually for a few months and he’s still my friend today. we just don’t talk about those few years! he has a really sweet girlfriend and i’m so happy for him! he lives 2 floors up from me in my dorm since we went to the same college! he’s a really neat guy and I usually let him borrow my vacuum since the floor is always a mess.

17. what’s your biggest pet peeve when it comes to lgbtq characterization in media?

*takes a deep breath* well, with bi people it’s often that they are either homosexual or heterosexual and bisexuality is just ignored. it’s complete erasure of bisexuality! another one is how asexuals are often treated as though we are somehow broken or just waiting for the perfect person to come around and fix us. i have a lot of pet peeves but these are the ones that are most close to my heart.
