'god i wish i had smart in stem autism instead of blorbo autism' is such weak mentality because if you have stem autism your special interests wouldn't be something like curing cancer or fusion reaction but about lambda calculus and katydid morphology

See idk how to explain this but internet discourse is so inundated with creating facsimiles of heteronormativity and cisnormativity in such that it removes much of the nuance on gender and sexuality.
I've posted about this phenomenon before but like there's definitely something weird with the obsession of replicating dynamics of heterosexuality and analyzing oppression and Power within gay relationships in a heterosexual framework, like assuming a (somewhat ) immutable concept of top/bottom. The same goes with discussing and pivoting discussions of "transmisogyny" with regards of "misogyny" in such that implies that "transmisandry" doesn't exist just like "misandry" doesn't exist. Though that may be just the internet's allergy to nuanced discussions (and perhaps we need better signifiers for that)
Though I do concur that there's a typological tendency for feminine expression to be gate kept more than masculine expression, but yeah it does seem weird when the discussion of unique stratal oppression of transmasculine individuals are dismissed, due to the obsession of structuring discourse under a preexisting--perhaps awfully too heteronormative and cisnormative--framework.
(Like I have some reservations on how transmasculinity and transfemininity is often too focused on grappling on reifications of gender for validation on ones own gender)

maybe im just a joyless, sexless pedant and that having to categorize 'topping' and 'bottoming' and the actors thereof–'top' and a 'bottom' can be useful? i just dont see any reason to adopt (on a utilitarian, and ideological framework—i dont really care if you identify as any of these) but it's just one of those divisions that are kind of funny because it clearly shows how queerness just happens to the left of heterosexuality; it's not exactly deviative from the heterosexual framework but most of the constructions which underlie gay culture seems to just be attempts of replication of the heterosexual ideal.
idk i think it's funny that top/bottom has become ingrained in queer culture that people forget the facsimile of heterosexuality that such divisions create.
sex → heterosexuality (the abstraction) → homosexuality (the facsimile of the abstraction) → top/bottoming (the facsimile of the definition of the abstraction)
