Do white Europeans like white Americans also love to put their parents in nursing homes? Also, do you get kicked out at 18?

90% of people in europe are white give or take. WE ARE MOSTLY WHITE. WHITE EUROPEANS DOESN’T MEAN SHIT BECAUSE WHITE IN THE US =/= WHITE IN EUROPE HOW MANY TIMES DO WE HAVE TO SAY THIS SHIT before y’all get it into your head, so like, white europeans don’t do anything all the same because italians don’t do the same things the french do including black italians and black french people, because here things work on fucking nationality more than skin color and I’m honestly so tired of explaining this I can’t even anymore, so your question makes no fucking sense

that said I have no fucking clue how common is to put parents in nursing homes in the rest of europe but in italy it’s really not common, esp. since families also go on thanks to the grandparents’ pensions and family is half of the unofficial welfare system so like you usually don’t put your grandparents in nursing homes unless they really can’t care for themselves or need special care. however either the relatives do turns with caring for the person in question or if they have the money they hire a caregiver, who most times is from eastern europe and sees the person in question more than his/her relatives, to care for the person almost 24/7, and then we complain about too many eastern european women coming to our precious countries. btw eastern european women who have degrees in their own countries but nevermindthat. anyway, that’s for italy. I have no idea for the rest of the continent but I don’t think nursing homes are that popular all around.

no one gets kicked out at 18. at 18 people go to uni unless they find work, but given the current economical situation the only places where ppl actually manage to leave their parents’ house then are scandinavia and nothern countries which have a functioning tax system and enough wealth that they can be given benefits in order to leave the house such as free housing for university students and so on. in less fortunate places you stay with your parents until you have the economical means to leave, and 90% of the time if you leave it’s gonna be to live in a house that your parents bought for you as an investment because the previous generation has the money to afford it, ours won’t and I don’t even wanna know how the children of my generation will be, but thankfully I won’t have any so it’s not gonna be my fucking problem. no idea of how it is in most other countries but I think the germans tend to leave early, mediterranean countries tend to stick around the parents’ house until they have the money to leave, france is midway and no fucking clue about the british but I think they also tend to leave early. anyway people don’t get fucking kicked out thanks to their age, especially because in a lot of countries in 18 you’re still in obligatory school so you couldn’t actually work at the same time and maintain yourself so that’d be kind of complicated. I mean, in italy unless you start school one year before the usual (at five, most ppl start at six) at 18 you’re in your last year of HS before going to uni so like... if your parents kicked you out you couldn’t fucking finish school. the end.
