New Amsterdam Season 5 premieres next month, and I know I’m not the only one wondering what it will look like without Helen Sharpe and Sharpwin.

I wrote about how a final season is coincidentally the best, though unfortunate, way to say goodbye to Helen.

lauren ending things with leyla was surprising but it’s also good to see her learning and growing because there was a huge power imbalance between them, i do believe it’s not the end of them though (especially since next season is the last and introducing a new love interest to multiple characters will be too much) so maybe after everything with the visa gets settled and leyla finds a place of her own (residents are supposed to be able to afford a place to live right?) and there won’t be such power imbalance between them they’ll make it work
