#just saw someone online say they think angel wasn’t close with his mom & didn’t have a relationship with his mom at all #which is a totally valid interpretation/headcanon; absolutely #however my italian ass went ??????????????#knowing how much italian mothers—ESPECIALLY old country traditional italian mothers—not only love their sons #but love the absolute fuck out of their BABY sons #the youngest #the littlest #the baby of the family #is fucking sacred #especially if it is a boy #now obv angel has molly #but he is still by definition the youngest SON #so i’ll be super surprised if his relationship with her is nonexistent #then again who knows how much they’re going to lean into angel’s italian heritage #if they lean into it AT ALL past the mafia #and immigrating to new york #which also raises so many questions like was he born in italy and then moved as a kid to america like so many people did during the early 19 #early 1900s????? or did his parents immigrate even EARLIER than that and he was born on american soil???#the very earliest angel could’ve been born based on his age and when he died is 1903 #about half of those early immigrants arrived between 1900-1910 #so #many questions so many questions #i rly do hope they decide to lean into angels italian roots at LEAST a little #but that’s purely because i am italian #so i’d just love to see some italian-american stuff here #anyway this is just me rambling i have to go to bed #clari chatters

#elise lives a life of excitement and intrigue #in some ways im glad i have cd to fall back on because it means i inherently cant have an apf situation on my hands #where i barely knew any of the characters and the plot was Extremely cobbled-together and last-minute #and its not exactly right to say im bored of cd because theres a lot of stuff in this *KNOCKING ON WOOD* last 3rd that im very excited for #but my brain with its little reborn baby-bird wings wants so bad to make up something new and run wild with it like when cd was born!#but. even though the bottom of my brain is filling up again with little trinkets and scraps that can be someday strung together...#i dont know. theres no fullness there. i think im still scaring and stopping myself because the only thing worse than not having a story #is having a flat story that im only trying to be interested in. where i have everything i should need but i just cant figure out how to-#-do anything with it :( like sunrunners / like TRouble / like hypotheca bloom theory / like like like.....#even the only reason isc and satsuma boys as (incomplete) summer nanos turned out at all was bc past me had built them in a better time #i know going through old sketchbooks and coloring in the lineart is a valid way to go #but i want to draw the lines again too :(

hello!! do you have any historical facts and/or headcanons about Eli? we have the same name so I accidentally got attached to him but I can't find many sources on him because he died so young

hi eli ! :D (first of all i love your name sm 😭)

unfortunately, elias has little to no records written about him because as you mentioned, he died pretty young :( all biographies put his birth in 1758, but after that, how long he lived or how old he was is debatable.

according to a laurens children genealogy (featured in duncan wallace's biography of henry sr), it is stated that elias "died in or before 1762". it's one of the few records i could find about him that establishes 1762 as a possible death year. i'm not entirely sure why 1762 though, as i didn't find any records or letters during that year that mention him or his death. henry sr always talks about his "three little ones", which were john, nelly and patsy at that time. i couldn't find anything related to the mourning of elias' passing or anything related to an infant child that passed away during those years.

other than that, he is barely even mentioned on family records. and the ones who do, establish that he was born and died in 1758. (on patsy's biography: "in 1758, another newborn, Elias [...], did not survive") and, on the genealogy of that same biography, Eli has a (1758-1758) written. the lack of mentions in the years he supposedly lived makes me lean more towards the fact that he indeed died as a newborn. but still, some records could be lost so its still uncertain if he lived until 1762, or if he died as a baby instead.

i used to have a little headcanon that he had a birthmark on his face though! i hope that small hc about him helps somehow :") im sorry for not having a lot more to offer about our dear little eli 😔 of course, if anyone has something about him and wants to join feel free to do so!!

Lmao so I used MCCC to turn autonomous proposals/marriages on because it's so sad how none of the townies ever ever get together unless I futz with them one by one, and I am currently so fucking tickled because in the new save I started, Katrina Caliente IMMEDIATELY got married.... to Kristopher Volkov, and abandoned Dina & Nina for Moonwood Mill 🤣
