14. ) Has your character ever got in a fight they weren’t prepared for?

Many times. Gin is the kind of person that can say just the wrong thing at the right time to enrage others. It's started many a fight that she's not entirely prepared for. Even if she knew perfectly well what she was doing up until the fight started.

In regards to larger fights, Gin had to rescue an elf named Belysa (and others) from the Roots of the world tree many years ago. While she, her friend Dunn, and her cousin Lyda Rose did have somewhat of a plan of attack, there was no way for them to be fully prepared for what the Roots held.

She's also been fighting the Void within her for years with no instruction manual. Once she'd learned what was inside of her, but pre-branding, she was simply winging it while hoping she didn't descend into madness. Honestly, most of her life is simply winging it, let's be real.

🌺 Who are your current RP partners? 

We’ve got the Wife, the Incomparable, @autumnspyre . We RP almost every single day, even if it’s really silly things like Weleria and Eleeria getting groceries. Some of those day to day scenes are my favorites.

I also have the excellent @spellthieve who I RP with on my demon hunter, but also on Eleeria. Isoria’s fangirl letters to Eleeria amuse the hell out of me, and they definitely need to get cocoa sometime. And of course the wonderful @lormeus whose characters almost all know some of mine at this point. Lormeus and Eleeria are some of my genuine favorite scenes to roleplay, and Ailos and Eleeria are also excellent.

😳 Who is someone you’d love to RP with? 

Going to answer this with people I have never had a proper 1 on 1 scene with. In which case, probably @safrona-shadowsun or @kharrisdawndancer , the latter of whom I have RPed with in passing at Cakes, but never very seriously.

🙁 Is there a character of yours who you wish you had more RP with? 

Ilaena ( @ilaena-furiae ) is my demon hunter who I LOVE....but as always with characters who are newer, it’s easy to fall into the “well Eleeria has all sorts of friends already so why expend the effort?” trap. But I actually write and play her quite a bit, so I would love to meet more people on her!

A random thought. I saw you mention that you have not had as much inspiration for Elaianna. Would you possibly attribute that at all to a diminishing presence of trade and political (Read :NOBLE) roleplay on Wyrmrest Accord? Or just other things diminishing interest?

Yes and no. It’s not as large of a part of what I believe has created a diminishing inspiration for Elaianna as some other things.

Largely, I believe Elaianna is at her ‘apex’. Her goals are achieved. She has a family. She’s ‘worked’ her way up to be where she is in nobility. She’s happy. Her company is still relevant, and able to function without her (re: alts). She’s able to be a behind desk character and while she loves the sea, with her kiddos and her husband on the sea, there’s less reason for her to be out doing more.

Her story is, seemingly, tied up neatly. There is a plotline that Thomas has for her regarding her past, but it’s not something I want to drive forward until I get a little bit more development going for other characters (and not all my own, I have a plot I want to do for Tom too!).

I have INTEREST in her, I just lack the ‘what to do with her’ that still makes sense to her character.

“Ohh.. One could call it fate maybe.. Or magic..” She grinned, “I meet a lot of folks in my travels. I recall finding him in the ruins of an old mogu temple a couple of years back. He was out cold, my father and I cleaned him up and what not. It wasn’t until recently that we ran into each other again and we reconnected. Right now we’ve just been having fun.. Enjoying life. He’s been a welcome traveling companion. Its nice to have someone to talk to when I’m adventuring.” Zeehva shrugged a bit before looking at the stranger, “Why do you ask?”

“Well, loyal kind of implies settling down to the point of a relationship, which has not really been my thing. Hypothetically, if I were in that place, I’d be loyal but not monogamous. Maybe I get that from my parents, but I would be open and communicative with a partner. In this hypothetical example.”

“Of course! There’s no cause to rush in life; not with people. We’re all moving at our own speeds and some of us have progress still to be made. Why get impatient with someone finding their way when I can be there for their journey?”

“That... is a no. Partners are a fun way to spend some time and share an experience of life together. One experience. At the end of the day, my life takes me all over Azeroth, and there are aspects of that life I can’t just share. That’s why I’m not one for committed relationships. I leave those to my sisters.”

While there are many things Mozelle wishes they were ignorant of... well, curiosity killed the cat, and this cat is nosy to a fault. Horrific knowledge is a purview of hers, as are the distasteful details of many of the lives around her; even when certain knowledges fill her with disgust, she rarely stops seeking them out because she must know.

As for illusions, Mozelle’s worldview is heavily skewed — always seeing the worst in people and expecting betrayal or abandonment from near everyone; and if someone would not, it’s probably because they’re just some simpering fool who lacks the spine to do so.

Anyone is capable of anything, any no entity can be purely ‘good’ or purely ‘evil’ because the exact specifics of what is good and what is evil are subjective. 

Mozelle can certainly believe some people are ‘just’ good with no considerably evil traits, and that some people are ‘just’ evil with no considerably good traits, but it’s a shallow simplification of things for people not worth the effort of considering their cultural morality and their experiences in depth.

Mozelle acknowledges most people would consider her actions ‘evil’, and cannot deny that some of them are in fact evil, but she believes them to be necessary in the greater scheme of things.

NIGHTSHADE - How would they prefer to die? HORROR SHOW - Muse, name three people in your life. Who’s sacrificed? Who’s the killer? Who survives until the end? Where does that leave you?

NIGHTSHADE - She used to say exploring some cursed tomb or bursting in a blaze of magnificent magic. Die young leaving a beautiful corpse or no corpse at all. Now she would like to live a longer life full of experiences and important people, which ends with either a peaceful magically-aided passing or... well, still a blaze of magnificent magic. She fancies the idea of being a spectacle.

HORROR SHOW - “Let’s say... Rinnessa, Leora, and Kat. Leora is probably sacrificed; she’s noble and some days seems like she has a death wish. Kat seems like the killer, but that’s typecasting; she’s the one that survives, which... you know, here’s hoping. The twist is Rinnessa is the killer. Sure, she’s an absolute sweetheart, but magic is tricky and dangerous. I think I die early on in the story, probably in the inciting incident that curses Rin. Sorry, Pinkberry, I corrupted you for a more compelling narrative; hope you can forgive me!”

On here?  This one - though it originally was thesistersastorio and dedicated to Hani.  When I swapped to RPing Val, the theme and name also changed.

Current RP trends?  Lord, I’m so out of touch on what the trends are right now.  Ask me again in a few weeks.  That said, I guess I have to be lame and also add that I’ve never been one much for trends or very public facing RP so I’ve always been a little out of touch with whatever is going on.  I wish there were more pirates, though.  I like pirates.

Rule: If someone asks you to stop doing something, respect the dang boundary, don’t push it because you think it’s a rediculous one. I used to be open to shipping with Khadgar, but there are people who did some very, very not okay things, and aside from the occasional reference jokes to past ships, like with Modera, I’m really not comfortable with it anymore.  Characters are free to crush on Khadgar, but he’s going to be very “Oh! Uh. *UHHH*” ABout it and too shy to proceed. That said, if he ends up dating someone in game officially I won’t tell anyone rping that character “NO ROMANCE ASKS”  but ahh. Yeah!  (All of my other muses are welcomed to be shipped with, barring a couple of exceptions so long as no minors are involved IC or ooc)

“Well, it’s a funny, loaded question. I ended up marrying Kaladin, and while the circumstances were... complicated, I am glad it ended up being him. It was a large, extravagant wedding, which was decidedly not my dream wedding-- I would have preferred a small, intimate ceremony. But we grinned and bore it for the sake of appeasing family.”

“I’m not sure I could pick a favorite artist. Art’s always been a hobby, so I’ve loved works from some artists not just from Kul Tiran, but Pandaria and Teldrassil. Well... who were from Teldrassil, at least.”

What if Zeehva was drafted into the military? What would she become?

Ooh, that is a good one.

She wouldn’t be happy about it firstly, but I think she would probably become something like a scout. She is decently stealthy, quite fast, and decent at hand to hand combat. So, some sort of scouting position or look-out I think would fit her best. But she has no desire to take part in a war, she has many good friends on the red side, so she’ll keep holding out hope that the peace between both sides lasts.

Shipping -

I try very hard to avoid planning a ship (friend or otherwise) in advance, and let things happen as they happen. It feels more meaningful that way, and also more realistic. Even Leon can’t get along with everybody! That said, I don’t necessarily oppose planning one out, but I will be very particular about how that comes to pass and be wary of shoehorning it together in spite of established character traits that would otherwise crash and burn it. I detest forced relationships of any kind; what little planning I do frequently comes in the form of “Never gonna happen,” and is largely because of OOC motivations more than IC ones.

Established relationships -

I would like more of these please. The Ambroce boys have led a life and it would be nice not to have to play or write every single facet of those lives, and see what other shenanigans people could bring into it with the bullet-point nuggets I have. Especially since I have only a passing comprehension of and concern for basic lore and Terry is one broken motherfucker by now.

🎹 — playing an instrument

Belucera is by no means a gifted musician, but she can play a drum or tambourine and keep a beat. That said, she does not play an instrument when she dances or performs, as that much sound that close to her throws off her ability to perceive her surroundings. When tumbling or spinning through the air, that is a bad idea and leads to fun new injuries.
