Why on Earth would an intelligent designer design so many variations on the same theme? An intelligent designer, especially one endowed with the foresight of omniscience and unlimited powers and who is omnibenevolent and perfect, would design the perfect solution to every problem, and stick with it, not design lots of different solutions to the same problem. And every iteration through the cycle of replication would produce an exact copy of that perfect design, so there is no logical way all those variations could be the result of random mutations which all happened to be equally good at whatever they did, so there was no element of selection involved. Quite simply, lots of variations on the same theme are evidence not of intelligent design, but of utilitarian, mindless 'design' working without a plan and with no conception of the ideal or perfection. Variation is kept because it works; maybe not exactly as well as other alleles, but well enough for the carrier to survive and reproduce. Even if the differences are too small to play a significant part in evolution by natural selection, unless they are serious deleterious, genetic drift can account for them being a significant part of the species genome.

How to change props to state in React Hooks?
In Simple react class component we used to change the props to state this way:
constructor(props) { super(props) this.state = { pitch: props.booking.pitch, email: props.booking.email, firstName: props.booking.firstName, arrivalDate: props.booking.arrivalDate }}
But I am not aware of how to do it in new feature as Hooks, but I am trying to do it this way.
const GenerateDescHook = ({ description: initialDesc }) => { const [description, setDescription] = useState(null)useEffect(() => { setDescription(initialDesc) }, {}) function handleChangeVariance(newVariance) { setDescription({ ...description, template: { ...description.template, variance_name: newVariance, }, }) }}
Basically, I just need to change description props, which coming from another parent component to turn to state. Pls, could you show me how to do it in new way as Hooks way?

MG Motor India has once again revised the prices of its popular mid-size SUV, the Hector, and its three-row sibling, the Hector Plus. This marks the third price adjustment for both SUVs within the last six months, further solidifying MG's commitment to offering competitive pricing in the ever-evolving Indian automotive market. A Strategic Move Towards Enhanced Competitiveness While MG hasn't officially disclosed the specific reason for this latest price revision, industry experts speculate that it's a strategic move to further enhance the Hector and Hector Plus' competitive edge against their rivals. By adjusting its pricing to be more attractive, MG aims to garner a larger share of the mid-size SUV segment. Introducing New Variants and Revised Pricing: This price revision coincides with the introduction of two new variants for the Hector: the Shine Pro and Select Pro. These variants replace the previously available Shine and Smart trims, respectively. COVID-19 NEW VARIANTS – APPALLING WAVES OF CONCERN TO THE WORLD
As far as the world is fighting against the COVID-19 pandemic, the virus continues to mutate, particularly in unvaccinated populations. Another new variant called C.1.2. has been detected in South Africa from May, is causing public health concern across the globe. It’s reported that it’s more infectious & even more resistant to vaccines than other variants. Till now, C.1.2. has been identified in South Africa, Congo, Mauritius, China, New Zealand, England, Switzerland & Portugal. It’s again reported that this variety has high mutation rate & more mutations than other variants of concern (VOC) or variants of interest (VOI).
This COVID-19 variant has a selective advantage of increased transmissibility, immune escape or both as per reports. About 52 per cent of the mutations in the spike region of the C.1.2 sequences have previously been seen in other VOC and VOI also. Another South African strain, B.1.351, was reported in April, which has potential transmissibility properties affecting more of vaccinated people.
As per Virologist Upasana Ray, the variant is a result of numerous mutations accumulated in C.1.2 line in the spike protein which makes it a lot different than the original virus that was identified in Wuhan, China in 2019. "It could be more transmissible & has potential to spread fast. Since there are so many mutations in the spike protein, it could result in immune escape & thus a challenge for the vaccination drives worldwide, if allowed to spread," Ray, Kolkata's CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Biology, told PTI.
It’s noted that these mutations together with changes in other parts of the virus likely help the virus evade antibodies & immune response, including in patients who have already developed antibodies for the Alpha or Beta variants.
One UK study found that the Delta variant is 2.26 times as likely to result in hospitalizations than other variants. This appears to be associated with the speed at which the Delta variant replicates, causing much higher viral loads in a shorter time. However, fully vaccinated people have less severity of the burden in UK.
TAILPIECE: The best way to slow further mutations & control the current strains of COVID-19 is to get vaccinated & continue to practice social distancing & wearing quality face mask whenever you are getting outside.
