Hello! I'm still alive and working on my video essays.

I feel like I was reserved in life throughout 2022, so inspired by CGP Grey's video on New Years themes, I've decided to make 2023 the Year of Sharing 🎁.

For my online life, this doesn't just mean "posting more complete works" or "marketing more". I want to share my progress and post more WIPs on my socials.

I also want to "share" myself offline by going outside more often and finding more opportunities to socialise.

This got me interested and made me "research" (read: google) further. I found out that she wrote something about it previously (link here), and I quote her intro: "I was never good at keeping New Year’s resolutions. I’d be good for a month or two and that’s it. Until late 2012, a couple of friends and I heard from somewhere that doing a “theme” for the year would be better. That one theme that would guide your decisions and direction for the year to come. It proved to be a much more awesome way to get excited and revved up for the brand new year." I know I already made a couple of resolutions for the year, but nobody said I couldn't have theme as well, right? --- #NoHoldsBarred2015 'No Holds Barred' was a familiar term from back when I was following "professional wrestling". Having this kind of wrestling match meant it was 'anything goes' - wrestlers can throw opponents out of the ring (and into the crowd!), use weapons (steel chairs, ring steps, sledge hammers, etc.) and basically be able to do everything else the referee would normally stop them from doing. The objective of the match doesn't change though: they still have to either pin their opponent's shoulders down to a three-count or have them tap out via submission in order to win.

For 2015, I want to go 'all out'. I don't want to be caged in by the limitations I set on myself. I want to see what my actual limitations are (and maybe even try to overcome them). So this year, it's going to be 'no holds barred'.
