It’s one of my favorite days, National Girls & Women in Sports Day! Sports has been one of the few constant things in my life. I tried every sport as a kid, chose a second major because it could help me work in sports, and was a fan through it all. Now I get to work in sports and couldn’t be more grateful for everything sports has given me in life. It’s given me joy, amazing friends, a sisterhood I couldn’t imagine my life without, and a way to connect with the people I care about most. Sports simply has changed my life. To the women on the sidelines, in the press box, in the ticket office, in the front office, and everywhere else, you are incredible. We belong here no matter what anyone else says.
