“Huh,” Jenson says, taking Fernando’s glass from his hand, ignoring his annoyed sound as Fernando coughs, covering his mouth, and holding it up in front of him. He closes one eye and then the other and then closes the first one again, squinting. “I didn’t know Lewis drank gin.”

“He doesn’t. I was drinking that.” Fernando slouches further into the booth, arm slung over the back of it, music low and rolling from the live band in the corner. Mark watches the two of them, hair damp from the rain outside, jaw severe even in the dim yellow light.

Jenson holds the glass out further and to the left. Fernando follows the movement, seeing Lewis leaning against the counter, near bent double at the waist, hand on Valtteri’s shoulder, laughing. His hair is pulled back in a low bun, shirt loose around his neck, mouth shiny with lipgloss and wine. “You refuse to drink out of glasses other people have used,” Jenson says. “You once nearly dislocated my thumb because I tried to use your water bottle when I was gasping.”

“I told you what would happen,” Fernando replies automatically before frowning. “So?”

Jenson shrugs, handing him the drink back, tilting it into the light as he does, grinning. “Nothing really, I guess. It’s just interesting that the lipstick Lewis is wearing is also smudged on your glass.”

niamh *clears throat* you, are genuinely one of my favorite people I've ever had the luck to call a friend, you always know what to say when shit goes bad you're always there to encourage me and help me out when I need anything.

besides that you're an incredible writer who has made me cry more then once, you're someone who is shockingly able to write about emotions in a way like they're touchable like you're apart of it and its always amazing to see you come up with it.

also you're really fucking hot and I'm definitely expecting a pic of your full outfit in the gc bc im 100% sure you look stunning. love you <33
