#trash rambles#im just gonna talk about my first day but in the tags cause idk#so like!!! for whatever reason i thought it would take way longer to walk like seven blocks so i walk intentionally slower so i didnt get#there super early cause i felt like itd be weird but turns my new manager was running twenty minutes late (cause she technically works at#all the loctions i think? or maybe just two? so i didnt hold it against her or anything plus the person with the opening shift was really#nice so whatever) and then she showed me how to use the loaf slicer and then she showed me how to make some dessert breads and prep the#muffins and i got to help fill out some orders (but she delt with all the register stuff and i haven't learned how to use the register#system yet) and that was kinda it so she sent me home like four hours early cause it was super slow apperently so that was pretty cool of#her! also also!! she said the location im working at is super slow and even encouraged me to bring a book or laptop or something so i have#something to do when everythings done and theres no customers and thats so incredibly chill im kinda excited to be out of training#i mentioned that it seems like a chill environment to listen to podcasts in and she was like 'oh yeah. i listen to horror podcasts all the#time at work' and like... hell yeah...
