Warriors of Future Review – If there is one thing that will get me immediately interested in a film, it is a story about trying to fight for a future. The world has gone…

I just finished Red, White & Royal Blue movie. Henry's fave movie was In The Mood For Love. I was like "OMG??!!!" and at that moment, I thought the ending of Alex & Henry relationship would be tragic just like the ending of In The Mood For Love, fortunately, Henry & Alex got back together and they are happy. But my question is... Do you think Nicholas and Taylor watched the movie In The Mood For Love for real? I just want to know. Lol. I also just followed both of their socials and I saw Nick liked a tweet about In the Mood For Love so I kinda assumed that he watched the movie. Sorry this is a silly question.
Firstly don't worry about the silly question! As long as you're respectful and kind for the most part I really don't mind answering.
Secondly as a born and bred Hong Konger I am ashamed to admit I have yet to watch In the Mood for Love 😂I know the premise though!
Saying Henry's favourite movie is In the Mood for Love was a spontaneous choice made by the director/one of the scriptwriters Matthew Lopez during filming because they realized they needed to add a question to that conversation to accommodate the camera movement, and in an interview (I can't remember which one though) he said he chose it for being romantic, despite its admittedly sad ending. In the same interview, Matthew also admitted to considering Happy Together, a gay film by the same director starring Leslie Cheung and Tony Leung, also with a Tragic ending (although it's a relationship struggle, not so much about the societal pressures on gay men)
Interestingly some folks found similarities between the some shots/directions in RWRB and in Happy Together

Anyways back to your original question! I think after filming the boys might be intrigued and went to watch it! In the Mood for Love is consistently ranked as one of the best films of all time, so I do think they would watch it. So yeah!
