"Hey man, congrats on officially leaving the bachelor's club. Who'd have thought you'd be the first one of us to tie the knot?" While he'd generally be one to greet his friends with a hug, with the way Nico's arm hung, Altan doubted that his wounds had fully healed, even despite his accelerated healing. "I know you've probably been patching yourself up well enough on your own. But would you like some magical help?" His lips quirked up in a smile, attempting to disguise the flicker of worry while a little spark of magic weaved across his fingertips. "Or anything else that needs doing, really. I'm completely at your disposal for the day." Although he knew his friends would be fine without his help, between Nico and Jasmine's injuries Altan was certain there was at least something he could do to make life a little easier for them both. He doubted that this was how they'd pictured starting married life, and his heart ached for the fact that they couldn't be enjoying this time as they should be.

"Uh huh - sure you do," she said dryly, arms still holding the tattered remains of at least three separate outfits. "With how much time you spend in the forest, you'd think it would be the least elusive place to stash these things."

She shoved the fabric pile forward, not caring if Nico wasn't quite ready for it. "Seriously - you know you can just take your clothes off right? Without ripping them? Really - how much money do you have that you can afford to lose an outfit every time?"

Duty had a way of binding him. It left him bound to his family and thus, to this place. Day by day, this same place pressed him with new horrors, and yet, Efe had not fled. Doing so would have been easy; he had done it once before. All it would take is a brief drive, and he could leave Lunar Cove and all its chaos behind. But he had not. And he had not yet left the inn after the initial waves of panic seized the room. Most partygoers seemed to have made it out safely, but there had been injuries, fights that had broken out, and people caught in the inevitable stampede to the doors. Safety, of course, was an uncertain word, however.

Something sinister had seized their friends, their neighbors, magic he had never before witnessed. And for all Efe knew, it was spreading. Perhaps this moment, dire as it was, would prove just a speck in a maelstrom brewing across the entire town. He pushed those thoughts away, tending to someone's slashed hand with a first-aid kit pulled from behind the lobby desk. "You good?" he looked up upon noticing Nico's familiar face. "Your wolves good? I'm off-duty. I don't have my radio. Any word from anywhere else?"

When you're too tired after work to do replies and decide to manip instead... I was originally planning to do the whole Delaney-Lopez and the Reed fam manips, but it got late so I ended up splitting the fam manip up into tiny squares and calling it a day lol Also, pretend Linden is Chace Crawford's face that is being cutoff in the Poppy photo. Abbey is debating about changing FCs, so for now, Linden is half a face until Abbey decides what FC she wants to go with and I can redo the Reed fam in their entirety and the Delaney-Lopez's.

It felt odd stepping into this place after being away for so long, not to say it looked any different nor was he any different too, not terribly anyway, but circumstances had changed greatly since was last here. It was a concious decision on his part to not head to the den till he found some semblance of steadiness in the unfortunate timing of his return to Lunar Cove, while he couldn't say he had found it, the lack of white attire spoke enough. Nodding to the two people that were around, Dhruv made polite small talk before taking a seat, picking some random reading material off the ground and absent-mindedly flicked through the pages, focus entirely elsewhere. Which immediately shifted to Nico when he walked in. "Ah, the prodigal son returns," he greeted, still seated, "Luckily it was just camp this time. How was it? Fun I'm betting."

For the past year, the citizens of Lunar Cove had been terrorized by some faceless adversary that had taunted them, taking the lives of everyone in leadership and leaving the town floundering. On Valentine's day, they made their biggest strike yet, a year after the first attack. For the first time in that year, Bea felt like they might have gotten the upperhand, despite having been kidnapped with a small portion of the population of their town, no one on their side had died. Of the hunters, only one remained, and she was being restrained in a soundproof room on the other side of the building while the Council best decided how to handle the situation. "I think we should probably make a game plan before we get in there. Maybe we make a list of all the things we want answered before we head in, so we know what information to aim for?" There was also the matter of what to do with the captive after the interrogation, but Bea didn't want to think about that just yet. "Do any of you have experience in... interrogation?" she asked uncertainly.

The moment bare feet hit the sand, a comfort washed over him. He could never place it, on sand, on boats and on water, those uneven terrains should make him prone to falling, have him stumble but it had always been solid, flat ground that put a to stagger in his step. Thankfully, making it down the aisle was not the hardest part. Emotions already swelled like the waves around him when he saw everyone, and that did not go down since then. And as Shelia now slowly made her down, he couldn't help but laugh a little, hand to chest as a soft 'aw' sounded. But then came the wait and that became the hardest part. As much as he loved Shelia, to fully wait for her to make it till the end was in a way torture. This was Ken's doing, he knew it. Taking a few steps back, he whispered low to Nico, "Do you think I could run back down the aisle and grab Shelia to speed this up? Or is that a bad idea?... This is torture man." But he looked to Bri and shut up immediately, "Second thoughts, maybe I'll stay put."

The camping retreat felt like adult summer camp. While Jake's accommodations were less than desirable, they were his only gripe about the retreat. His singular sleeping bag didn't seem so bad either when he heard what Nico and Jas had to share. At least he wasn't the witch who was going to wake up with a mouth full of fur.

"Nico!" Jacob called excitedly as his head emerged from the water. "Look at what I caught!" Silver fins gleamed in the sunlight as he brought a tiny fish out of the river. Crystal clear water filled his hands, the fish cupped within as he showed it around. "Those are trees, have you ever seen those before? That's the sun up there, and that" Jacob pointed the fish in Nico's direction. "is a werewolf."

Looking for another werewolf to be an immediate challenger to Nico’s position as Alpha in the Lunar Cove Pack. 

Nico swooped back into town in August 2022 after a decade away, and not everyone can be happy with that. His mother Saskia Alders was the Alpha until February 2022, and after that there was a brief period of several months where the Second-in-Command was running things. It’s well-known to older members of the pack that Nico never wanted the role—until now, apparently.

Your character could know him or be a stranger, could be a newcomer or part of the pack for a while, but one thing’s for sure—you could do a better job as Alpha than he will, and you mean to prove it.

Wiping her hands on her jeans to get off the paint that might be on them. "Do you want a drink?" She asked as she walked behind the bar. "And maybe a cigarette. I promise not to tell Jas." She reassured. "I don't know about you, but lately I'm ready to just start chain smoking again."

While peace had not yet come, the appropriately living denizens of Lunar Cove had at least, by now, managed to begin assembling the bits and pieces of some sort of front. An ambulance had pulled up at some point, a fire truck. And Efe had found himself playing runner, applying first-aid where he could, but spending most of his energy and efforts getting the vulnerable out of the fray and those in need of more serious medical attention into the hands of those who could offer it. Having just gotten a young man outside who had injured his leg, Efe returned to the center of the action to see Nico at work among the wounded. He glanced up, recognizing a familiar face, one that made Efe’s blood chill. Nico’s mother. When he himself was growing up, his own parents had been involved enough in the Coalition for him to at least recognize other local leaders. But she was not the first of the lost he had come upon this night. Efe grit his teeth, then, as he sunk to his own knee. “You good?” This brief question carried many intentions: an offer to help, a greeting, and maybe even a genuine asking. His and Nico’s relationship was perhaps not chummy, but that all felt so futile now.

TASK OO2: WELCOME HOME

2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, & 1 Open-Space Kitchen/Living Room.

Nico surprised Jas back on Valentine's Day with a Cabin he had impulsively bought for them. They've been living out in Echo Acres ever since, but recently they've been crashing at an Air BNB so that Jas could surprise Nico was some new additions. They now have a skylight and wide windows in their bedroom, so that Nico can still feel like he's outdoors while inside (though they also come with security shutters for privacy and because of you can't be too safe in this town). The rest of the house has finally been decorated to be more than a mattress on the floor. The living room/kitchen is an open spaced concept. The kitchen has a dinning nook table, while the living room has a fire place and a book shelf that lines one wall for all of Jas' records. There is a guest bedroom and guest bathroom, along with a front and back patio. The front patio has an overhang to keep you dry with plenty of outdoor seating in case anyone swings by. There is also a fire pit in front of the house with plenty of chairs for the whole pack. While, the back patio has a hammock to lay out in. Also, out in the backyard is a shed with a fully working outdoor bathtub and shower beside it. She also still has her RV parked in the long driveway you can find here.
