Nikita: "Look at this!"
Jerald: "And what is that?"
Nikita: "Marcus' report card. His grades are slipping... He tried to hide it."
Jerald: "Your grades are tanking. What the hell are you doing? You're the future of this family! You can't be fucking up."
Marcus: "The teachers go too fast and they're not very helpful... Ms. Rocchetti always took extra time to help me understand."
Jerald: "Well, now I'm going to help you. Sit your ass down. We're getting this homework done!"
Nikita: He doesn't get in trouble? He just gets help? Ugh!
Nikita: If no one's going to give me what I want, I'll just take it. I'm a Fusilli. That's our way.

This family still occupies a significant place in the world of organized crime. To outsiders, their life may seem luxurious and full of unburdened opulence, but behind the walls of the Fusilli mansion, intra-family discord and tensions endlessly brew.
Freddie, the undisputed leader of the city's criminal gang, finds an outlet in nightly poker games with his sons and associates. Despite his age, he rarely loses and shows no inclination to retire anytime soon. Katrina, the matriarch of the family, maintains unshakable power in the family. All these years, she miraculously managed to combine the roles of a meek wife, a caring mother, a wise grandmother and a prim mother-in-law.
Donna married Gerald for practical reasons, so she could live a comfortable life free from household chores. She succeeded in that, but she always thought she wasn't cut out for family life. Now, unexpectedly, she's dealing with strong maternal feelings and the challenges that come with them.
Gerald and Anthony Fusilli, somewhat mechanically, followed their father's criminal path, making gradual strides up the criminal hierarchy. This progression, though, offered him some reassurance.
Teenage siblings Nikita and Marcus have already begun facing their mafia family's reality. Nikita is a tough girl who will never be a pushover to anyone. Being brought up under her grandfather's strong influence, she aspires to be a criminal mastermind. But will she be able to do that? Even now as a teenager, she has no friends apart from her granddad, who is conservative and though he loves her, doesn't think women belong in the criminal world.
In contrast, Marcus finds himself in a different position, being the assumed heir of the family's criminal legacy. Yet, he dreams of a normal quiet life with his girlfriend, which earns him constant nagging and contempt from his younger sister.
Pablo, the youngest in the family, enjoys all typical children's fun and has yet to learn the inside of this two-faced world. But that will happen later… Much later. Because Donna is determined to shield him from harsh reality for as long as possible.

Donna: "You look a little gloomy, Dolcezza. What's wrong?"
Nikita: "Nothing."
Nikita: "What?"
Donna: "You know you can talk to me. I'm your mother. If a teenage girl can't talk to her mother, who can she talk to?"
Nikita: "No one! I can't talk to anyone! Leave me alone!"
Donna: "That went well..."

Donna: The private school headmaster? This is Katrina's doing. Jerald needs to remind his mother the children are her grandchildren. We should have been consulted.
Katrina: "And they are all excellent students!"
Donna: "They are doing very well in the local school... I worry about disturbing their studies by moving in the midst of the school year."
Katrina: "Do you think I would do anything to undermine their studies?"
Jerald: "We do not think that, Mamma. Donna didn't mean that."
Katrina: "I only want the best for Marcus, Nikita, and Pablo. Private school is best! Better for their grades, opportunities, and morals!"
Headmaster Eric: "Indeed!"
Pablo: "But I like Ms. Rocchetti's school..."
Donna: "I know, Bambino."

Wednesday
April returns home after school to an empty house. Her grades are on top of the world and she takes a second to celebrate herself.
She brought Nikita Fusilli home from school, a "friend". Corina can't believe she really gave in to let Nikita come with her. All she wants is to copy her homework... Corina leaves Nikita on her own, not aware what she does to her father's succulents.
Nate doesn't mind though, he gained that big promotion and is now a DJ! He's instantly off to celebrate with his wife. And Nikita quickly redeems herself by playing with Merle.
Over their "celebration" April and Nate almost miss the most important time of the week: it's Merle's birthday.
Merle is glad to celebrate with only his family and Corina's strange but quite nice friend.
He grows up to be a Popularity Sim. He likes active girls that also like to tend their appearance. But please not bland blondes! He's also now towns greatest bro!
To celebrate their youngest teenage birthday, the family buys a pick-up. Nate is exceptionally happy about it!

Viola: "Yes, Nikita? How can I help you?"
Mercutio: "Move your elbow a bit."
Romeo: "Nah, grow a longer neck or do your own damn work."
Mercutio: "Not like you have the right answers anyways..."
Marcus: Odette's just so...
Nikita: What does Nonno see in Marcus? He's barely on question 7!
