For the longest time I’ve only shipped Aloy with Erend but after playing a few hours of Horizon Forbidden West I really ship her with a lot of these characters. I hope for third game they take a page out of mass effect’s book & allow the player to chose their romantic partner. (or not at all cuz some people don’t want romance in their game) it would give me a reason to play the game over and over just to see the different options. 💕🫡

Fic writer's end-of-year roundup!

Words written: As of today, December 29, 2022, I have published a total of 666,541 words this year. All of which has been in the Horizon Zero Dawn fandom.

Smut scenes: So, so many. I couldn't possibly count them. It would be easier to count the fics that have smut, and even then, it's... many. Almost all.

New things I tried: Well, I started writing in the HZD fandom, which I'd never done before. I also wrote my first threesome smut and first OT3 fic.

Fic I spent the most time on: This one is probably Where the Wanderer Goes, my OT4 Nil/Fashav/Aloy/Kotallo longfic. I spent weeks outlining and although I'm on Chapter 12, it's only a fraction of the way done.

Fic I spent the least time on: Most likely Common Ground, the Nil/Hekarro fic I wrote in a couple of hours while drunk (and enabled by a bunch of hyenas).

Favourite thing I wrote: Toward the Sun, my first OT3 longfic, which is a soulmate AU about Nil/Kotallo/Aloy.

Favourite thing I read: Oh, man, so many. On Dawn's Silent Wings by @wandereringray Bad Company by @nyxianthe Saturated by @darkonyxdream Fire and Steel by @thatgothwriter Scraped from Salt and Rust series by @cthu-boo People Like Us by tciddaemina (sorry, I don't know if this one is on tumblr)

Some more faves this year: A Song of Love and Fury series by @nyxianthe Demons and Disasters by @darkonyxdream A Little Tenderness by @trisshawkeye (at least I think this is the right handle, please let me know if it's not) I'm probably leaving some out! But these are the first ones I thought of off the top of my head. There have been So Many! We're truly fortunate to have so many fantastic writers in the HZD fandom.

Writing goals for next year: Finish some of my many WIPs, start some more, maybe get back to some of my original works, too.
