Idk I still wanna write so

This is what selever does on a normal day. He bugs his mom in the middle of church service, he scares his dad, he messes around with other dimensional beings, he makes shopping take 20 minutes longer, he pays for his neighbors broken window.

“And He brought blessings onto this land witch He created” “MOM IM BOOOORED”. “Siddown church isn’t half over! Ahem sorry about that! Shall we continue”. “No”. “SELEVER! If you can’t be respectful during Sunday church then PLEASE LEAVE”. Someone else piped up from the back. “But church is less boring eith you!” “I’m a demon. I don’t even really worship god. I respect him because I love my mom very much, but imma go to the arcade or something… mom PLEASE stop dragging me to church!”

Selever got out of there and went to find ruv. Ruv was in the bathroom of their house carefully cleaning eye boogers out of his bad eye or whatever’s under there. Sel snuck behind him. “BOO”. Ruv got startled and poked his eye ( or wherever he has under the eyepatch). “(Insert string of Russian swears loud enough to crack glass) SELEVER HOW MANY TIMES HAVE I SAID DON’T DO THAT ITS NOT FUNNY!” “I’m bored”. “Scram”. “But I’m bored”. “Scram or I’ll wring your neck.” Selever scrammed.

Selever went to the park. There was a street blocked off nearby that looked like it was getting sucked into some sort of dimensional rip. Some skeleton guy with a giant paintbrush and some thread and a sewing needle was sewing the rip shut. It was almost finished and all that was left was to seal the rip and fix the road. Sleepover noticed a string on one end of the rip. “Huh what’s this”. He pulled on the string and it unraveled and the rip nearly sucked him in. The skeleton was just staring at it while holding his head. “Do you know HOW LONG it took to fix this rip that the blue haired human made while messing around where he shouldn’t? This rip nearly killed blue (swap sans)! And NOW I HAVE TO START ALL OVER”. The skeleton took a vial off his sash of vials. “Here have some Sorry juice so you’ll feel very sorry for ruining what took me a week to fix with no breaks”.

The skeleton took the coal and splashed it all over selever. Selever felt really really bad. He didn’t mean to. He didn’t know why it was a good idea to pull the string. He pulled a piece of used fum out of his o socket ant tried to use it to close the rip. “Bruh”. The skeleton facepalmed. “Your a being of magic right? Oh you never learned my name I’m ink! Anyways you know magic right? Since you created this mess why don’t YOU fix it”. “Wait if your the ink god guy who creates all then can’t you just snap your fingers and fix the rip?” “Nope. Two different universes with two different magics. If I tried to fix it with my magic I’d turn it into under tale Friday night funkin and this isn’t undertale”. Selever took inks paintbrush and went to the other side and used the paintbrush ink to seal it from underswap side. He teleported back. “Problem solved”. “Oh… I never thought of fixing it from the other side”. Ink vanished without a goodbye.

“Huh I wonder what I can do with this giant paintbrush?” Selever tried painting a donut but it turned into black ink mush cuz inks magic residue had worn off and the paintbrush only worked when ink used it. “Darn.” Selever got an idea. He pulled out a sharpie and drew a funny face on it. He graffiti’d his name. He sold it to skid for his allowance money. “OH BOY A GISNT PAINTBRUSH! Pump! Wanna go paint a giant Mona Lisa?” “Yeah! Can we make her a monster Mona Lisa?” “Of course! It is the spooky month after all!”

Selever ran into the bully and his goons. “Your a rapper right?” Selever snapped his fingers and turned bullies hair blue. “There now you look like a better rapper”.

Selever found his dad with a bandage on his eye getting groceries. “Here can you get this too?” Selever added s give bag of candy. “Put it back”. “Aw”. Selever put it back. “Can we get this”? Selever put a really expensive rc car in the cart. “Put it back”. “Aw”. Selever put it back. “OOOOO DONUTS! AND THEIR ON SALE”. He added a box of donuts to the cart. Rub looked at it and thought. “Go get another box”.

They sent to check out. “Hey look dad your in the news again”. “Huh… ‘breaking’ news… angry Russian breaks neighbors reinforced extra thick double pane window glass with Russian swears… in other words… nothing new in funkin city… look at what you did! You made me break the neighbors windows again!” “I said boo. I didn’t say the swears loud enough to break the windows”. Ruv glared at selever. “Your paying for broken windows this time”. “Fiiiiiiiine”.

🌘: 9/10 - friendly but not CREEPY friendly, u get what I mean? I dunno how accurate our rating is bcs we alr had a friend there...so imma just lower it abit,,,

🍳: 7/10 - the youth leaders were cool!!! but also getting a more objective opinion because idk anyone there so it was weird but i think the overall vibe was fun

💀: dead. again. RIP

2. openness

(we didn't ask any qns again bcs we were scared HAHAHAHA but they did keep asking us if we wanted to clarify anything/had any qns so...)

3. service

🌘: 6/10 - the service itself was nothing too special, just the usual spiel, but I liked the topic. the pastor man was kinda confusing when he explained things tho. overall was a meh service. DEF better than the last one tho

🍳: 6/10 - more engaging than the previous one or mayb im biased but still was interesting to see how they taught the sermons because it definitely was slightly different from the previous church

💀: RIP

4. programs

🌘: i honestly dk much abt their programs but frm their youth i think its q engaging? and we visited bcs they were hosting an event and they had FREE FOOD which was. cool. they mentioned a church camp too, and it sounded p fun all things considered. also they have. A GAME ROOM? which if anything gives them some points in my book.

🍳: would say its q cool tbh theyre really engaging and helps to break the ice for newcomers to familiarise themselves with the church environment - also they were talking about a church camp??? where one of the youth groups MAY just sneak off and go shopping but who knows!!

THATS RIGHT WE BACK BABY!!! we're like those absent aunts that only come once a year and are always drunk. VERY COOL.

on to the actual church - their sermon room wasn't as cool as the previous one but NO MATTER because i later noticed that their service hall is actually on the 1st floor and the one we went to was probably the youth one on the like, 4th, floor.

their service was p cool, normal stuff, they had icebreakers but i dunno if it was just because we went there during an event sorta thing. the youth after the session was cool, the people were nice and the discussions were actually p cool. i kinda got confused but is ALL GOOD bcs they went thru it after.

THEY HAVE A GAME ROOM/ YOUTH HANG OUT PLACE that has a SWITCH. if you like super smash - boy is this the church for you. the vibes are cool and genuinely might keep going back to it bcs my friend also goes there and you can drop by the church lounge any day of the week? which i think is p cool.

omg we're BACK after surviving life and tests and projects!!!!

okaokoaky so this time we got roped into coming by 🌘's friend who appparently DID NOT KNOW we were coming together but thats COOL!!!

started w band and icebreakers, then had prayers lead by the youth leader(?) and then the pastor mans.

THEN we split off into groups to talk in youth groups i suppose which was mildly scary because idk how to talk to people??? but yes then we started discussing what the pastor was talking about during the session - was q interesting? they tried to initiate more interactive discussion then concluded.

THEN WE GOT TO THE SWITCHES THEY HAVE A WHOLE ASS ROOMMM FOR GAMES AND STUFF like there was a switch (which the boys were addicted to btw??), a random basketball lying around, a whole LIBRARY and sooo many chairs to sit around and talk.

after thattt we got free lunch (which was bombz af btw) then spedran awayyy. overall fun experience! people were welcoming and kind and it was interesting to listen to how they taught the sermons.

we'll always remember him in our hearts 😔

So, hear me out real quick...... I hate my life. I try so hard to get something but people have to be little dingus’ and ruin some form of positive planning. Anyways, As i was saying, Im SUPER CLOSE to getting a place to live. Problem is government workers never want to work, and Organisations want to squeeze every living dollar out of being charitable. I get you have God on your side helping people out. But for the love of the same being, PLEASE FIX YOUR LIVING AREAS!!!!. ok.... im done with that part. no im not really.

 Ok, Heres the skinny, Im homeless see, And [The good news spoiler] Is next month. Do you know the date right now? Its the 23rd. of July. Look on your calendar. Close right? Very. Now the Shmucks that we are trying to work with to get us off this forsaken property, want us to stay on the property cause there’s no more options for us to live in like.... a hotel or something that has no bugs and isnt detrimental to our health. (cause certain criteria for the two of us theres an option for us to be funded to live in a hotel till we find a better living situation.)

The person im tagging along with is having the same problem and this morning it was so bad for them WE WENT TO THE ER. The person im with had cancer treatments not that long ago. Keep in mind. Like... ok.... nothing against this charitable funding to get homeless people a bed. And that the two of us went to the hospital ourselves so it didnt scar their precious reputation. BUT STILL, we are basically being bitten to extinction and nothing beneficial is happening. Sure, i dare the place to spray the area.... do it... i dare ya... if i see more that one bedbug ANYWHERE near me. Imma file some papers against the bishop. or archbishop. whatever.  cause this is bad.

So they want us to live in the spot till we get to a better living situation. The person im with is a honored military soldier. so benefits are to be expected. Right? Wrong. Every person that works for the military and homeless combined are all being lazy. They cant even help us get to another destination cause there’s nothing on their list that “works for them”. SCHMUCKS!! Use your massive moneypool to get us in a hotel stay for two weeks.

Ive been silently putting a glare on every person we’ve met that we’ve been trying to tell them our situation and they are like POLICYYYY YOU NEED TO STAYYYYYYYYY. No, this is enough. i said no more on sunday..... its Monday.

My friends been all over the place trying to get us to at least be out of the place so we dont get bitten to death for another whole week.

And im running out of money to hold up these medications and food. and i have phone bills to pay. Like... Im gonna be negative everywhere by the end of the week.

Everyone working in the facility. is a shmuck. Im ready to file suing papers about improper treatments of their service members. Covering it up in the name of God. THIS is why i am going nuts. I want money to live and my limbs still attached.

And i need my  new mic. i need a mic.... i need to work on swapout. and im being blocked by schmucks. Lord better bless you all with a lotta money cause im determined to sue a church.

My teacher had been sick for some days so i mentioned him in a prayer this morning. Turns out he was feeling better today but better safe than sorry.

I spoke to him and he said I was raped. I know it sounds weird but we just kinda talk and i think i trust him. I don’t think it was rape though because there was no penetration.

I was feeling really bad today. I felt kinda empty but after speaking to him I felt better. He went through worse things than I.

At work the receptionist and my english teacher came in. Apparently the people working at the school were gonna have a ton of pizza and I accidentally said “wow i think imma kms now” aloud and one of them just said “nah”. It was actually quite awkward but who cares

I left work early today and read some. I think I’m going to go to bed early today. I slept for only about 3 hours and I’m the kind of person that sleeps for 10 hours, takes a 2h nap and still doesn’t feel rested. This week has been a bad one sleep-wise

I hugged my teacher 2x and my coworker like 4x. Wtf i remember a time when I hadn’t been hugged in over a year. Fuck i’ve missed this.

I regret getting rid of my lighter. It was like 1500 and I had already smoked over 1/2 a pack of fags and I really wanted another one but I freaked out and don’t want to become dependent to I just kind of tossed the lighter away. Dumb, I know.

I skipped art and watched owari no seraph instead. I really want to like it but I can’t. I just can’t get attached to it.

Yesterday Maja made fun of me and said I had a crush on the teacher but today I explained it with something like “its not sexual i just feel kinda like begin arounf his cause i think i can trust him“ and “idk he’s just like what i imagined a good family would be like“ she said it was kinda cute and got off my back. Boy, if i told her what i thought about the german girl she would never get off my back.

I feel better now. It’s nice and I feel like im not really alone. I feel like I have people to turn to and people that would help me if i needed help.

I’m looking forward to church this sunday. On saturday I’m also gonna go to see some guys confirmation ceremony.

I’m doing well right now. up until around 1430 i felt really empty and like a useless burden. After that I just felt normal.

this is just a personal rant i need to express uh right so i have somewhat of a personal philosophy when it comes to performing or more specifically being hired to perform. like? idk how to say this without coming across like an asshole but i don’t like being invited (forced) to perform for funerals & weddings & parties. & maybe this just makes me a purist & it’s hard to explain this to people who don’t actively attend church or even know what a worship set is or what worship culture is lol. like when i sing ? it’s like we’re all worshipping together & we’re all connected & i just happen to be on a stage u know ? & that’s how it should be. like we’re all focusing on god rn it’s not about me or you or anyone else in this room rn it’s about worship.

& here it’s hard to explain or for you to get context bc if you haven’t experienced true, spirit-filled worship it’s just not gonna compute u know bc there’s no basis for u to relate to & btw this is not some “my religion is better than urs” bullshit. im just saying that christian worship culture is such a all-encompassing & prominent part of who i am and the people im surrounded by but that realm also simply doesn’t exist to some people u know?

so anyways with worship, our aim is this very real out-of-body experience that we call “anointing” and it’s not magic it’s not some quantifiable substance i stick in back pocket before i get onstage. u have to connect to god u have to open up & let all this life crap fall away & rly truly focus on god u know? and church services u know, everyone is here simply for that. that’s literally the reason we’re all here. worship & connection & revelation & fellowship. & playing diff events? we’re not here for that u know? it’s like a party or some shit & im like u want us to do what ? play music rn ? like a secular band ? like ???

& this doesn’t happen often i swear (& im usually good at handling it & it doesn’t happen within my church family but always fkn new people idek why them) but it’s just something i have a big personal issue with. & i am in no way saying that worship only occurs in church bc ofc not. how many dinner parties & hangouts & fkn hikes have turned into spontaneous worship sessions ? so many. (like that’s just what happens when at any given time, there’s a piano or a guitar & literally everyone in my family & close adult circle is musician or singer) it just irks me when someone hands me a schedule & goes “u play here & then here’s the other event shit & then imma need another song from u” im like “what song?” & they go “whatever u want just some noise;)” like okay fuck you:))

man idek know like maybe i am a purist abt this (no way im the only who feels like this too tho bc bethel & maverick city prolly feel this too) but i rly think worship is sacred & not fkn background noise u know ??? like i cannot even explain the power of the emotions i feel in worship. there’s nothing to compare it to okay. it’s like that insane slaphappy connectedness that you get a concert of an artist u love where everyone is singing the same words & it’s absolutely euphoric ? it’s like that but infinitely more stunning. like don’t even get me started on worship concerts.

so yeah im just thinking about this today bc i had to play a solo set for a funeral of some guy i think i met twice? & okay im not being a bitch bc im not rly annoyed by this i swear bc his widow is so sweet & i did say yes when she asked me & im bad at saying no to stuff when people CATCH ME OFF GUARD. & maybe it’s just bc i had to play for such a somewhat large audience. (when i say big audience, i mean an american audience of a couple hundred people, in India we play like thousands of people shows bc it’s a cultural relativism buddies) like im a little out of practice with this size bc with COVID we’ve been pretty split on sundays between in-person attendees & online live-stream attendees & maybe this is just my personal insecurities of having to play a solo set for the first time in a while & also this is literally strangers like a room of hundreds of strangers (im literally 1 of five brown people in this room) &

idek man its different performing a high-energy set by yourself bc u can’t bounce off other peoples energies ? like band mates? that’s RIDE OR DIE buddies right there we’re right as fuck it’s literally family so just being alone im like “i hate my life rn” & man idek & it wasn’t bad by any means solid 10 i stuck the landing & all that shit. it’s just weird not being able to connect to the audience u know ?

day 5.1

- its a well spent sunday.

- went to church at 7:30, left for nola for morning coffee and lunch at thai restaurant, went shopping a little bit and bought a pair of cute pink sneakers, fed the fishes and ordered some skincare stuffs from glossier (for the first time), did an at home facial and felt very accomplished after that.

- then went out to a chinese restaurant for dinner, food was bad but we had fun convo so it’s not too bad.

- now im starting to do a little bit of reviewing before go to bed. actually im planning to go to bed before 10 today, which means im not going to have much time texting with bf but that’s ok we’ll see each other tmr anyway.

- yesterday i had really good time talking with my 2 cousins from canada about skincare. i’ve not been this inspired to do skincare for so long, which explains for why i did my order this afternoon. lol. i also had some new biz idea but im not that motivated to get started so imma just keep it in mind.

- had a lot of sugary today and not much of water. i’ll need to make it up tomorrow then i guess.

- no picture today honestly im really lazy to take pictures when im with my family, and friends, and bf, and everyone. hope that makes some sense.

- please help me im in a mood of wanting to order tons of stuffs online. please help.

you were secretly my one-sided valentine on thursday, too. i stayed home and ordered pizza with my roommate.

It’s been a rough couple weeks for me. Nothing has gone right, I’m stressed and swamped and tired. I’m glad I can be open here though, since no one else reads this. I don’t have to pretend to be strong when I’m crumbling. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I’m a strong person. I believe that. But strong people.. we break down too. That’s why people see what I do and ask how I’m still standing. I never have an answer. I worked a 15 hour shift yesterday, I have an audition in an hour and a half, and I have to write like 6 outlines plus memorize two scenes. I also have to edit a video, and work on a song.

but uh, i’m quitting my job. i’m not one to give up on anything. but i’m gonna focus on school. i have enough money saved to pay my rent. it’s a big step but I know it’s right.

anyways i gotta get going. i miss you so much.. and i can say that, since no one is here. gottem. my brother is coming next weekend. im so happy. i don’t know why you’ve been quiet, but I hope to hear from you soon.

7/25/18 -- Sister Katie Buntin, Guatemala City, Guatemala Mission

hey hey hey family and friends! hows everyone doing back there in the states_ you know whats funny_ sometimes i forget that im actually in a diifferent country...haha yeah i know that sounds weird, but its true. sometimes i forget im speaking spanish! haha yuupp im weird but its a cool feeling!

so this week was suuupppper interesting! so on sunday we were singing a closing hymn and we just hear BOOM BOOM BOOM,BOOM,BOOM,BOOM )in my mind i was like OH MY LANTA WE ARE IN WORLD WAR 3 RIGHT NOW WHAT DO I DO WHAT DO II DO WHAT DO I DO_!= a whole buch of men stood up and went outside to go ssee what was going on... well all of us inside continued to close down the meeting and we started a closing prayer. and during the prayer BOOM BOOM BOOM one of the  guys came in )i was sitting in the back next to the door= and he didnt just come in he BURSTED THROUGH and he grabbed my arm and said [GET OUT OF THE CHURCH NOW[ so yeah at this point im like super freaked out but i waited till they say amen then i grab my companion and we RUN RUN RUN faster than the gingerbread man and you know what we saw_ A FREAKING EXPLOSION!!! A FREAKING PROPANE GAS PLANT EXPLODES!!! can you believe that_!_! A LA GRAAAANNN! oh mah gawsh! anywayssss it was super crazy and everyone went out of the church building screaming and running like crazypeople, so what do i do_ i run out of the church building screaming like a crazy person. monkey see monkey do! so we ran and were making tons of phone calls to a whole bunch of people and then all of a sudden we had to leave our area because all of the gas toxins were in the air! but dont worry were fine everyone is fine! no one died in this incident, and only 4 were severly hurt... but yeah anyways thats the exciting part of the email... the rest is probs super boring but imma continue to write... lol. so yeah the work here is going well! we are working super hard everyday! so that we can see the miracles the lord has for us! anyways so heres a little heath update for everyone! today i went to go get my backbrace!FINALLY! its been a little while since ive actually had a health update from one of my doctors but today i went to go get it! with 9 months into the mission )which means walking all day everyday.= sure it hurts but ive been a supertough cookie and finally im getting this brace which will help me to have an easier time and with time ill be able to have less pain. so yeah thats super duper exciting!
