I'm a trans guy and struggle with my dysphoria which leads to panic attacks. Could I get a one-shot where Norman comforts to reader during a panic attack? Pet names are always good also thank you :)

It started to get very cold in the place. You were in the living room, which had once felt comforting and familiar, now it seemed to shrink as you spent more and more minutes in there.

Your mood hadn't been the best in the morning, and Norman's absence didn't improve it either. You had thought that reading would help a little, but the feeling began to become much more oppressive.

Your image on any reflective surface looked stranger, weird, more and more wrong. As if you were distorted every time you looked at yourself.

Hurtful words, voices from the past mixed with your own began to crowd your head, putting a weight on your shoulders that, as the minutes passed, felt much more suffocating.

You felt your breathing hitch to the point where your hyperventilation echoed in the room.

"I brought the juice you told me" You heard Norman's pleasant voice in the distance, coming in from his grocery shopping.

You couldn't respond, you could barely even think. You tried to speak, to utter just one word, but a choked sound was the only thing that managed to come out of your lips.

"Y/N?" The voice came closer until you noticed his feet. You had no idea how you had ended up on the carpet, staring at Norman's polished shoes to try to focus on something, anything that would keep your mind from wandering completely.

Norman knew immediately what it was about. After enough time in the relationship, you had trusted him with everything about yourself, the good and the bad, what hurt you.

"Honey, put your hands up, over your head," Norman said, his voice clear and firm.

You did, quickly. Your breathing was still as hectic, but at last you felt the storm of thoughts and feelings subside.

"Count to ten" Norman moved closer to you, as he always used to do. He avoided hugging you, holding you against him so as not to overwhelm you, that too you had explained to him.

Instead, he sat cross-legged in front of you, placing his hand gently on your knee.

"Thank you..." You replied once your breathing had stabilized. You lowered your arms, which were already burning with fatigue. Norman smiled.

You knew he was thinking. He was probably starting to blame himself for not being with you.

"Is it apple juice?" you asked, changing the subject to his shopping.

"Uh, yeah! It is" you made sure to take his hands, smiling broadly.

"Perfect! Shall I help you with dinner?" Norman brought your hand to his lips. Timidly, he placed a kiss on your knuckles.

"Yes, thank you," he stared at you for a while longer, until, seeming to take courage, he said in the same firm voice he used to speak to you during the bad episodes.

"You are the most capable, smartest and handsome man I have ever met, I want you to know that, okay?" you felt the way your cheeks started to hurt thanks to the huge smile those words of your sweet partner had brought out of you.

"Norman..." you leaned over and kissed his lips, as if you wanted to pass on to him all the pleasant emotions you were feeling.

You knew you could always rely on him.
