The Trans-Alaskan Pipeline starts at Pump Station 1, in Prudhoe Bay. The pipeline was completed in 1977 at a cost of $8 billion, connecting the entirety of the output of the oil fields of the North Slope, to the port at Valdez, and the marketplace

Maybe got two hours of sleep. Stayed up late like a dumbass and then was woken up by the fire alarm at 9:30. We all evacuated to the muster point for maybe 20 mins. I was too wired to go back to bed. God help me, I can't put a bra on under pressure! (It's got four hooks!)

A warm and very rainy Thursday today. Lookin’ at snow cams of my local ski slopes.

Kinda disappointing seeing my childhood ski slope Paoli Peaks hardly tried to remain open this winter, while Perfect North Slopes is chugging along squeezing out every operating day it can, despite it still raining. Global warming sure is hitting hard.
