I'm almost looking forward to my gum graft later this week, just to have it over with
it's not the only one I'll need, but the others will be over the course of years. and I'll know what to expect after this
and in the shorter-term future...the dreading will be over, that's been in the back of my mind for months

I hate a lot of mushy/gooey savory things for sensory reasons so#this is like personal Food Hell#but I can do Ensure and I can force down chicken noodle soup and scrambled eggs#and after two days noodles and soft veggies can be added which will be a bit easier#sweet potatoes and microwaved carrots and such#(noodles like pasta dishes I mean. not like the mushy things in aforementioned soup)#(citrus is out- hopefully the bit of bergamot in earl gray tea doesn't count)
