1. Favorite band?

Omg, I have so many that are my favs lol but I have to say if I would pay money to see anyone in concert (a big deal for me cause I don’t do concerts often) it would have to be Imagine Dragons.

2. Do you like a movie that is generally considered “bad” by the audience or critics ?

Depends on the movie, to be honest. I like to make up my own mind about movies, games, books, etc. If it seems interesting to me, I’ll watch it, regardless of the reviews.

3. Favorite villain from Mass Effect?

Illusive Man - because he’s real. He’s the bad guy who thoroughly believes he’s the good guy. He’s the very real example of true villain. He’s charismatic, influential and has a belief system he would, and has, killed for. He’s a level of dangerous that goes beyond even the Reapers or Collectors. Even Saren, who also believed he was the ‘good guy just doing what was necessary’ didn’t have the charisma, influence and power outside of Sovereign.

4. Favorite TV series?

Hands down, FIREFLY. Yup, Firefly. Browncoat all the way since it aired <3 I also have a number I really enjoy. Star Trek (all of them, even Voyager), Outlander, Game of Thrones (though I am severely behind), Farscape (gah I need to find where I can watch it from beginning to end again), Stargate (SG:1, Atlantis and Universe), The 100...this list goes on.

Right now I am enjoying watching through Dark Matter.

5. Summer or Winter ?

Summer.

6. If you could look into the future, would you ?

Yes, I think? It would depend on how thorough of a look I’d get and if it was specific to anything I wanted or general view.

7. Do you prefer a trip to the beach or a trip to the mountains?

Both! I’ve never just taken a trip to lounge on a beach but I love going into the mountains.

8. Favorite music genre?

Popular Music because its fairly diversified anymore though, to be honest, there are a lot that are my favorite...most actually.

9. Would you like to learn other languages?

Yes! I took French and Spanish in High School and some ASL in college and I sincerely regret not following through with them. I’d also love to learn Japanese.

10. What ending did you choose the first time you played Mass Effect 3 ?

Dii's fav #1 -- Ika Natassa

Hello, good morning sunny Sunday! Starting the day with lists of songs that started with ‘Singing In The Rain’ by Simple Plan then followed by autoplay video clips by youtube which is great wkwkw

So here, me wants to talk about one of my favorite writer, Ika Natassa (more about her books sih). So first time i knew her book was because of Regina’s (my friend) post on Path, she posted a picture of Divortiare’s cover (Divortiare is one of Ika Natassa’s book) with a caption about Beno, the male lead there which was discribed as cold-surgeon. Then curiousity arised and next time i went to bookstore, i bought that book. As i read the book, i got the feeling of the characters there, i honestly have a fading memories about Divortiare but i remembered i love the way Ika Natassa write the story, it’s like ya selaw aja bacanya but you got the feeling and you probably could relate it.

Then next book i bought was 'Antologi Rasa’. It was about Keara (female lead) who fell in love with one of her bestfriend, Ruly, but Ruly was in love with their another bestfriend called Denis who already married with a bad-man (iya sebel aja baca cerita tentang si suami Denis yang ga jelas ini huh), one more main character there is Harris Risjad (soon you’ll know he is one of my fav man wkwkw), and this Risjad knew all things happened (about Key’s feeling and Ruly’s) and he loved Keara. Sound cliche? Nope nope nope.. Well maybe yes, a little bit, but i love the story. Maybe if you only read some parts of the book, not the whole book, you might think the novel was too much of free-life like, Harris sama Keara yang suka ke club dan minum, and then how they speak with pretty harsh word, but all in all i love the book. When i finished reading the book, first thing in my mind was “Sumpah pengen ke Bali!” Awkwkw why? Because there is a story related to getaway in Bali. Another thing is “Harris gemes banget si ya ampuuun” wkwk Gatau sih ya pertama kali seneng sama Harris ini gegara apa, but i remember his character was smart but bad boy wkwk Then how he felt about Keara, melts me in a way! Gemes ampuun!! I’ll talk about him more soon. Ahiya, Keara, the female lead, was also being one of the reason for me loving this book. She is so confident and independent, smart, and a little bit wild, but nice. Like, apa ya, hmm ya dia nakal tapi dia cewe keren gitu, she probably work hard enough to get all the money she spent on shopping, but she’s independent. Strong-inteligent-smart-woman lah (?)

Theen, next book is 'Critical Eleven’. This book soon will be on cinema. YEASH! From all of Ika Natassa’s books, my fav one until now is CE. Complicated, great novel. The story was about Tanya Baskoro (Anya) and Aldebaran Risjad (Ale, and yesh he is Risjad, and Yesh! He is my fav man also wkwkw) who first met in a plane to NY then in the end they’re married. Yup singkatnya begitu, tapi kalo baca bukunya, more than that wkwkw Anya character here is just like Keara, another strong-independent-pretty woman. Ale is a petroleum engineer, working on rig, the description in the book make me imagining of dem suami idaman lah (?). Their marriage life was smooth, Anya even got pregnant, but then, the baby whoch should be source of happiness, also be the root of their cracked life. Ketika udah hamil tua, Anya masih terbang ke SG dan masih kerja normal, the baby was fine but suddenly Anya felt like there was no interaction anymore in her womb, Ale was still on Rig and so Anya went to the hospital first. Then sad thing, Aidan (their baby) dead in minutes after he felt the world. Sedih banget asli. Ini novel manis, sedih, gemes, dkk jadi satu lah. After that, Anya yang masih sedih, sensi, ngobrol sama Ale and he slip some normal but harsh word for woman in grieve. Dan dimulailah Anya yang ignoring him. No more sweet interaction between them. Sad thing is, mereka mesti bertingkah kaya gaada apa- apa di depan ortu mereka, but Ale’s dad knew. Dia bilang ke Ale kalo perempuan itu kaya kopi, ada perlakuan dan takarannya masing-masing untuk dapet rasa yang maksimal (?) Yagitu lah. Then Ale ini yg bikin aku seneng banget, he knew his responsibilities, he didn’t give up on Anya even when Anya being so cold lebih lebih dari es kali ya dinginnya, he still fight for her. Like real man gitu. Love his persistent and commitment for not looking for another one but to fix thing in the first place. Dan bagian lain yang kusuka adalah cerita duo Risjad (Harris and Ale) ketika mereka ngelamar wkwk Ale ngelamar Anya di dalem mobil, subuh- subuh ketika mereka mau ke bandara nganter Ale. Dan Ale ini ngelamar nya pake teori yang biasa dibacain Anya, “Dengan kamu, aku sudah bakar jembatan, Nya. I’ve burned my bridges. There’s no turning back. There’s only going forward with you. So, marry me?” Deeem Ale! Gemees sama dia yang ngelamar begitu sengaja disaksiin supir, subuh- subuh, and it just so cute wkwkw In other hand, Harris ngelamar Keara (yup, di CE mereka akhirnya having a happy ending) lewat OB, literally Office Boy wkwk Harris ini nitipin amplop yang di dalemnya ditaruh cincin lamaran, cincin berlian, dan nitipin itu ke OB buat dikasihin ke Keara. Kan gemes wkwkw Dan dialog lucunya adalah 'Sejak kapan kamu solat Jumat?’ Terus kata Harris (if i’m not wrong, sedikit lupa dialog aslinya) 'Sejak mau jadi suami orang’ dan kalo ga salah di novelnya digambarin dia deg- degan gitu pas solat Jumat karena abisnya bakal denger jawaban Key wkwkw.

Iya bisa kebaca kan sukanya aku sama duo Risjad ini. Moreover Ale yang anak pertama and better, dia lebih taat agama daripada adiknya and how he is so persistent, commit, hardworking, and responsible wkwkw Mungkin yang ga kusuka dari Ale ya salah ngomongnya itu kali ya, manusia deh gaada yang sempurna (?), but he is almost perfect wkwkw

Last one! 'The Architecture of Love’, di buku ini juga masih ada karakter yang nyambung sama Risjad family dan disini ceritanya tentang Raia, penulis yang lagi stuck dan akhirnya memutuskan ke NY dan River, arsitek yang tertutup sekali. They met coincidentally, at a new year party. Terus selanjutnya ga sengaja lagi ketemu di Central Park, dan jadilah mereka teman muter- muter NY. Accompanying each other with their own bussiness, Raia sama buku catetannya, River sama skecthbook-nya. Ya lambat laun mereka mulai sadar ada yang tumbuh and so on…

Intinya, beside the great story yang dipaparkan and how sweet the characters in the books, and how idaman Ale is, what i love about Ika Natassa’s book most is the character of the women there. Seneng aja sama independennya dan cerdasnya Keara, Anya, seneng aja sama gimana mereka bisa tangguh gitu dan being a strong women. Memotivasi lah buat jadi perempuan- perempuan kece macam mereka yang ga gampang swayed or waved wkwk
