The video above is a 7-minute video of highlights (basically everything related to Nate Mann) from an interview with Josh Bolt, who played Lt. Winifred "Pappy" Lewis in MotA. It was hosted by Matthew Leitch (SSgt. Floyd "Tab" Talbert in BoB) and Doug Allen (Pvt. Alton More in BoB), with special guest Matt Mabe from the 100th Bomb Group Foundation. If you don't want to watch the compilation, I provided a summary below😉

The actors who played Rosie’s Riveters got along really well. They “basically did everything together.” (I wish I could have been there😩)

Nate is on “his massive journey now.” (You know what that means 😏 more Nate content is on the way 🎉)

He felt "so lucky" with his crew (Rosie’s Riveters), which “hugely came from Nate.” (As if he couldn't get any more perfect)

Nate’s first screen role was Rosie, so Nate told Josh that Josh should take the lead because he’s more experienced. (We love a humble king 😌👑)

"[Josh] can't speak highly enough of Nate." Nate worked hard with the military advisors to ensure he knew the evasive maneuvers for the Münster mission really well. (We love a hard-working king who takes his craft seriously 😍)

They brought speakers into the cockpit to listen to music in between takes. (I desperately want to know what Nate's music taste is 🎶)

“All ego went out the window. When your first day is with Callum Turner, Austin Butler, and Nate Mann, three of the most good-looking men on the planet, and I’m stood there with this haircut, like a little hobbit... I felt so free as an actor.” (Gurrrrlllll, I would simply ✨ pass away ✨ if I stood next to three of the most attractive men on the planet)

They were known as the silly, goofy crew because they were just a group of silly, goofy guys. (I want more behind-the-scenes footage NOW, please Apple 🙏 for my sanity)

Josh had a “full breakdown when [he] wrapped.” He finished his last scene, and he “just wouldn’t let go of Nate... [he] was literally just crying [his] eyes out.” He said it was “because of the length of time [they] were together.” (🥺 My heart can’t take it. If I had the opportunity to hug Nate Mann, I would never let go as well 😭)

LISA FRANKENSTEIN (2024)

Screenwriter Diablo Cody has always had one of the sharpest minds for hip female storytelling and wickedly funny dialogue. Since she broke through with the Oscar-nominated 2006 film Juno, she has shared some of the most quirkily fun and yet often surprisingly dark women’s stories in Hollywood, including her series The United States of Tara, the criminally under-appreciated classic Young Adult, the aging rock goddess film Ricki and the Flash (Jonathan Demme’s final film) and even writing the book of the hit Broadway musical Jagged Little Pill, based on the music of Alanis Morissette.

So, Cody is mostly remembered for her slightly offbeat looks at the real lives of women. Still, even with her feet on the ground, Cody has always had a bit of a soft spot for the horror genre, as well, as you might pick up from her pen name. (Although the writer, whose real name is Brook Busey Maurio, insists the pen name came from merging the song “El Diablo” by old Duran Duran side-project Arcadia, and a town where she once got a speeding ticket called Cody, Wyoming.)

In 2009, hot on the heels of her breakouts with Juno and The United States of Tara, she penned a comic horror film called Jennifer’s Body, with Megan Fox as a demonically possessed killer cheerleader. The film opened to terrible reviews and box office, although over the 15 years since it was released Jennifer’s Body has gotten something of a cult following. She has not really worked on horror again since then unless you count the uncredited script doctoring which she did for the 2013 reboot of The Evil Dead.

That is until now. As you may guess from the title, the film is a very loose variation of the Frankenstein saga. (For the record, in the film the main character is not related to the original family and is not named Lisa Frankenstein but has the rather unfortunate name of Lisa Swallows.) Of course, there are lots of other very obvious influences touched upon as well, including Edward Scissorhands, Heathers, The Breakfast Club and even She’s All That.

Lisa (Kathryn Newton of The Map of Tiny Perfect Things) is a very, very disillusioned goth student in the mid-1980s. Her mental problems stem from her childhood when she witnessed her mother being stabbed to death in a home invasion – one that was never solved. Now her dad (Joe Chrest) has married a hellish evil stepmother (Carla Gugino), and they live with her and her new gorgeous, popular cheerleader stepsister Taffy (Liza Soberano). In one example of how Cody likes to toy with the audience’s expectations, Taffy is not a complete bitch to this new girl who is living in her house. Instead Taffy is very loving, nurturing and protective of Lisa.

Lisa really has no friends other than Taffy – although Taffy keeps trying to include her in activities to help her get to know people. Her hair is an unbrushed rat’s nest, she wears way too much black makeup and formless unflattering clothes. (Although, as is normal in this kind of teen film, all she really needs to do is fix her hair, get a makeup lesson, borrow some of Taffy’s sexier outfits and take off her glasses and suddenly she is absolutely gorgeous.)

The fact that she really doesn’t fit in is not helped by the fact that she often spends time in an abandoned and overgrown graveyard in the woods. She claims she enjoys the quiet, but she also likes being with the memories of the dead. In particular, she is fascinated by an elaborate headstone for a young pianist who died in the 1830s – which includes a full bust of the deceased.

One night, after a particularly uncomfortable party, in which she was dosed with drugs, Lisa goes to the graveyard in dismay. Somehow, due to a misunderstood wish, a torrential storm, and the graveyard’s apparent magical properties, Lisa somehow brings the corpse of a 150-year-dead musician back to life, although the worse for wear after over a century buried, filthy and missing several body parts. (Don’t even try to figure out the how and why of anything supernatural that happens in this film, none of it really will make sense.)

Cole Sprouse (of Riverdale) plays the creature. As with anyone playing the monster (or just a monster), Sprouse has a tricky role. He is only able to express himself through a series of grunts, gestures and glances through most of the film. (Only in the final scene, which may or may not be a dream sequence, he is able to speak.)

The creature is supposed to be a sweet, sensitive sort, but he also has a homicidal streak when he gets angry. He and Lisa start a killing spree to replace some of his lost body parts (again, how this works makes no sense at all, but you either buy in or you don’t).

And while the story made no sense whatsoever, I kind of bought in because the script was consistently funny enough that I overlooked many of Lisa Frankenstein’s flaws. Stylishly directed by Zelda Williams (Robin’s daughter) and well-acted – particularly by Newton and Soberano – it’s far from a great movie, but I have to admit I mostly liked it. It’s certainly different.

Good evening Band of Brothers fic readers!

I've been mulling over supernatural gifts as a neat AU idea so I wrote three little snippets.

Featuring: Joe Liebgott, Eugene Roe, Bill Guarnere, and Ron Speirs. Co-starring no less darling but slightly less magical Floyd Talbert, Babe Heffron, Skip Muck, and Alex Penkala.

“They don’t just go away.”

Eugene nearly jumps sky high at the sound of the voice in the dark, though even in his instant of panic, he recognizes it. He spins around and sees a silhouette that can only be Liebgott, crouching near the edge of his foxhole.

“You about scared me half to death,” he says reproachfully.

Liebgott smiles, faintly. “Sorry.” He’s not. “You heard what I said?”

Eugene frowns at him. In context, of course, if one knew what Eugene knows, then what he said makes perfect sense. But no one knows what Eugene knows. “I don’t know what you mean,” he says.

“Yeah, you do.” Liebgott glances off toward the line, eyes fixed on some point far off in the cold, silent dark. “You see ‘em too. I know you do.”

Eugene balks for a moment. He’s never met another living soul that he wasn’t related to who could do what he can do. “You see them?” he asks, knowing it’s not enough of a question but unable to put together a better one in time for it to catch up with his mouth.

“Do I not seem like the type?” It’s rhetorical, and Joe isn’t waiting for an answer as he eyes him for a moment. “You gotta tell them to go. That it’s okay. That they’re, you know.” His mouth quirks, relaxes. “That it’s over.”

“I’ve got enough on my plate these days,” Eugene says, feeling justified in his defensiveness. “It’s all I can do to deal with the living.”

“Even so.” Joe shifts, re-settles in his crouch. “Look. They don’t know that anything’s changed. It’s confusing. They think they gotta stay, for the rest of us. You gotta tell ‘em they don’t have to.”

Eugene wonders if he can picture it, the Joe Liebgott they all know having a gentle heart-to-heart with a friend in trouble. Maybe he can, after all. After his initial doubt, he remembers passing him nearly carrying Tipper in Carentan. He can picture him after Tab got it from a bayonet.

“I try not to talk to them,” he admits. Everything else already rises up around him, choking him, pushing him under; if he’s honest with himself, he can barely tell the living apart from the others these days. “It’s too much.”

“Yeah. Sometimes it is.” Joe looks like he’s going to say something else, and then thinks the better of it and rises. “Do me a favour,” he says. “When it happens to me, tell me that I’m dead.”

Eugene doesn’t answer, but Joe doesn’t seem to expect one. Eugene watches him vanish into the gently falling snow.

“Hey, uh." Bill gives a conspiratorial glance around, as if to check he's not being observed. "Don’t tell the rest of the class.”

He tosses a carton of Lucky Strikes into the foxhole. Skip catches it against his chest, and both he and Penkala direct pleased but incredulous looks up at him.

“Is it my birthday?” Skip asks.

“Are you dying?” Alex follows up.

“We’re all dying out here,” Skip quips.

“Don’t make me change my mind,” Bill warns, and they both grin like kids who have gotten away with stealing from the cookie jar.

“What was that for?” Babe asks, crunching toward him in the snow as Bill makes his way back to his own foxhole.

“Anyone ever tell you that you ask too many questions?” Bill grouses.

“No,” Babe says, tucking his hands under his armpits for warmth. “Where’s my free cigarettes?”

“Tell you what,” Bill says. “You can have yours when we get home.”

Babe’s face goes slack with shock. “You mean they’re – ”

“Keep your mouth shut,” Bill snaps, nudging him hard in the ribs. “I told you. Once I dream it, it can’t be changed. Remember Julian.”

People always want to try and alter the unalterable, whenever he tells them. He lets them try so that they understand why he doesn’t anymore. The universe always rights itself. He’s known that since he was five years old.

Babe is white-faced, and he glances over his shoulder at Skip and Penkala but nods. “Is it today?”

“Later,” Bill says. “But I had to make my stops this morning.” He thinks without relish about the shredded snow, the inevitable earsplitting spray of sound and blood and pain that will rattle his skull and his teeth and every last one of his bones. “I’ve got plans this afternoon.”

Sometimes Tab thinks about the night of the bayonet. The guys have the odd laugh about it now, but truth be told it scared the shit out of him. If that didn’t turn him grey, he’s counting on a full head of dark hair well into old age. He doesn’t remember the actual part where he was wounded very well, but he does have an extremely vivid memory of then-Lieutenant Speirs coming over, ostensibly to see what all the commotion was, and laying a purposeful hand on his shoulder.

That touch had been like a bolt from the blue.

All of a sudden, everything he had ever worried about had simply spooled out of his body and into the ground. He had felt so strangely calm, floating contentedly above everything, that Liebgott had even commented on it when they’d gotten him onto the stretcher. Hey. You good? Is he good, Doc? He’s quiet. He had dreamed that night like never before, vibrant colours and sounds and places he’s never been.

He has never asked about it, mostly because he’s pretty sure you can’t ask your CO whether he’s got magic hands without becoming a Section 8, but he remembers it clear as day. He knows it happened. There’s not much else you can trust out here but your own instinct about what’s true.

He watches Speirs hold Grant’s hand now, in the tiny designated surgery, while they wait for a doctor to come in and tell them there’s no chance.

He asks, without thinking: “Does it still work, sir? If he’s not awake?”

Eugene looks back and forth between them, and Tab knows suddenly that the Doc knows, too. Of course he does. Doc doesn’t miss much and he’s been in the presence of a lot of men who might have benefited from a pat on the shoulder like that.

There’s a beat.

“I don’t know,” Speirs admits.

“It does,” Eugene says, firmly. Tab can’t tell if he’s guessing or if it’s based in something he’s seen, but either way, Speirs doesn’t argue with him.

The three of them lapse into silence. Chuck dreams on.

James ‘Moe’ Alley x nurse Jenny OC- Headcannons - Part 3.

Ok so I think there’d be a small time jump here. I feel like the Easy boys would be training in Toccoa a couple months longer than when the nurses would arrive from their own training? Maybe it’s a year in, so this is set in mid 1943, a year before war, but they’re all gonna get shipped off to England in maybe 9 months or so on the European Campaign.

It’s maybe a week or so since the botch of a date, and neither Jenny or Alley have kinda made much conversation, there’s awkward glimpses that they share, but ugh no it’s so weird vibes, yet they still desperately want to talk to each other.

why do I feel like they’d all be sat at a table in some American bar not far from barracks, and there’s plenty of locals there, and some of the girls take a liking to the group of boys Jenny is sat with. “Can I sit here?” Alley would approach, taking the seat next to her.

Jenny’s heart skips a beat as a smile grows on her face. “Yeah.” Just as it all feels somewhat exciting again, the women make a move. Which is fine, but they take a particular liking to Alley.

oh god, he doesn’t know how to handle it, he’s kinda swarmed and he’s all flustered, he doesn’t really know what to say. When he turns around to kinda check where Jenny is, seeing as he sat specifically there for a reason, he’s even more disheartened to see her deep in a conversation with Floyd Talbert, his arm slung over the back of her chair.

Ouch. Well there goes that dream- omg it’s actually really sad but it’s all a big misunderstanding, but anyway both of them get all jealous over each other respectively, they’re constantly glancing back at each other at the wrong times.

yeah it’s even more messier, I don’t think Alley has the confidence to kinda intervene and Jenny doesn’t seem like the type to be territorial over somebody she’s not with- I feel like overtime she’d become a much more confident and headstrong person.

For now she just sits with an odd sense of sadness, sipping on her drink as she watched all these pretty local girls fawn over Alley.

I think that would be the end of whatever ‘relationship’ until England, by that time, alotttttt of time has passed, there’s a lot of growing and maturing in the meantime as they both mentally and physically prepare for war.

Ok so you know how it’s an 11 day journey from New York to England by ferry? Well Jenny HATES open water, she hates deep water, she hates murky lakes- do I need to go on?

so she’s trapped in this sweat box with too many men for the next week and a half, and she’s a nervous wreck. Everybody’s teasing her and making her get all flustered but they don’t realise the depth of her fear.

So one night she refuses to go down into the confided space below decks, Liebgotts been PLEADING with her but she outright refuses and the men working on the ship don’t know what to do with her?

she’s like pint sized compared to half of them but she’s so stubborn.

Liebgott kinda does this run inside and he’s all dramatic like, ‘well I’ve tried and the girl is glued out there’. Moe overhears and kinda perks up. ‘Who?’ ‘Jen.’ Whilst they barely have a relationship there, he for some reason feels like he just can help. He had troubles getting in the aeroplane when they first did their test jumps. So he kinda relates???

So he slips out and immediatly she’s all like ‘Joe, I’m not going down there, I don’t care how much you’re tryna’ bribe me-’

‘I’m not Joe’. And she’s all like oh shit, wondering what the hell Moe is doing out here.

I feel like he’d be a little awkward, but he’d be so gentle and ask her what’s going on. To say they hadn’t interacted a whole lot since their disaster of a ‘date’ it’s surprisingly comfortable.

He tells her about how scared shitless he was to jump out of the plane and she finds herself giggling along. It’s like the attraction is rekindled immediately. How can she say no? They end up walking back below deck together and both Alice and Liebgott are like ‘hell no not this again, I’m not suffering through anymore disaster dates’.

But things kinda blossom from there, they’d smile at each other so much, it was contagious, and omfg Moe would be so gentle and shy, he’d literally giggle over things she said and some how they get onto the topic of laughing about how bad their date was.

Surprisingly any tension is out of the window the minute they actually get talking- and let me just say the boat ride went a million times better.

Moe would wake up literally excited to talk to her, and by the last night Jenny found herself lingering on deck a little longer than usual specifically so she could walk besides Moe back inside. If they could bunk near each other, they would. But they’d end up playing cards to pass time, sitting on one another’s beds like children at a sleepover.

by the end of the trip they’re somewhat inseparable, it’s actually really cute. The lingering gazes and gentle touches come semi natural, neither of them are super confident with making the first move, so they’re just enjoying whatever’s going on in the moment.

I think once they get to England and everything intensifies 10x more, with the threat of war looming as well, this definitely pushes the pair together.

Some of these answers will be post-war and some will be during or before. I will specify.

Talbert and Liebgott had to give Grant a pep talk and a little shove and by little I mean huge. They had to give him all sorts of advice and a full on rehearsal. I'm thinking this would be around 1943, when they're in Aldbourne. Possibly a small cafe, a quiet book store, something recommended to Grant by the locals.

7. Post-war- literally all day, every day

12. Claire has always been and always will be her own person. But, post-war, you cannot separate her from the love of her life! It's giving Morticia and Gomez.

1. Lieb

I think he was one of my favourites when I first watched the show, he’s witty, he’s funny but then you see that sensitive side to him and i just vibe so hard with him. He’s also quick to anger and I relate to him on another level with that so like…I just feel like I get him

2. Guarnere

This is a new thing for sure but he’s climbing his way up my list of favourites very quickly. Again, he’s witty, he’s funny, good banter plus also it’s Wild Bill, he’s the perfect level of chaotic. Even after this man’s leg got blown off he’s out there cracking jokes and I hold a large amount of respect for that ngl

3. Tabbbb

Now tab holds a special place in my heart and I really can’t explain why, likes he’s just tab and I love him. Another one of those guys who a lot more than just what you see

4. Luz

I see him as a person that really just brings the morale up when everyone feels like crap and I really really get him for that like he’s such a strong, caring, funny man and ugh I just can’t even

5. Babe

The smolest of beans and I really do love him, and he’s also one of those boys creeping up my list of favourites. Sometimes I do find it hard with him though because in a really super confusing way I feel like he’s too innocent and sweet for him to be on my favourites list because I might taint him just by doing that idk confusing but honest bro

heyo! I was wondering if I could request an easy company ship? you can put me in the company if you want :)

I'm a trans guy (he/him), 5'8", I have reddish brown hair, hazel eyes, and I'm relatively athletic body wise but I have a lil tummy. I have a bigger nose due to my Italian, Jewish, and Romani decent, dimples, a phat ass (fhfhfhddjdj), and my hair is a mess of curls.

personality wise I'm the funny friend who's just kind of over everyone's bs. very snarky and quick with a joke if someone's being stupid. I'd say I'm pretty social on a surface level, but I'm only close with a few people who have earned my trust. I yell when I get mad, cry when I'm upset, and am nothing but laughs and smiles when I'm happy. my mood can change very fast because of how in tune with my emotions I am, so I'm prone to snapping on people, but I usually apologize right after and try to make things right.

my hobbies are reading, playing/listening to music, looking at hot men, and sleeping. I can play six instruments, I've always read at a high level, and I'm gayer than a box of fruit loops. speaking of food, I love cooking and eating too, hence my tummy. mac and cheese is an all time favorite and I love to bake cookies and brownies in my free time. big clothes are my favorite thing EVER and I will constantly steal clothes from people who are bigger than me. you will 100% catch me wearing a shirt that is two sizes too big in any given day.

Notes: “Oh my god, okay it's happening everybody stay calm.” OMG, I finally got to write a ship request for a boy! Literally, where have you been? It’s kinda weird that I don’t see gay men on BoB fandom, since the show is just gay men playing with guns. Ngl, you gave me a hard time, your personality is too unique for those basic ass Easy Company boys, but I think I got it…

P.S: I was between him and Christenson, since you two are very creative people. (He is so hot... jeez) 

Okay, listen to me… this was an amusement to write and I finally got someone that I ship with my short king Perconte. 

The only non basic man on that Company is Frank mf Perconte, I mean my man has his wrist with 20 wristwatches, brushes his teeth every five minutes and gets mad if he has blood on his trousers

He would have an instant crush on you from first sight

Was the moment he spotted your fat ass, jk

Can you just see the height different

He’s literally asking you with his eyes for you to please pick him up

But he does try his best to act cool and flirt with you and everything

“H-honey, are you better? Can I come in now? I-i made you brownies…”

Oh my god, when he found out you played six instruments!!

“You’re shitting me? Really? No way… I’m going to find them all and you’re going to play for me. I don’t care.” 

So, one of your hobbies is looking at hot men (I can relate but with girls too, can I do that a job?) so Frank would definitely love when you hype him out or when you compliment him

He instantly melts, It’s the cutest thing. 

YEAH, he plays with your curls when he’s bored or when he can’t sleep

Sometimes when you’re speaking or smiling he can’t focus on what you’re saying because of your dimples, he just finds them so pretty.

Not many people know but Frank Perconte was very sentimental and a man of very few words. 

So, he is social but sometimes he can get very quiet during a conversation and that’s when when you enter, he feels more free to be himself.

He comes to you for advice, he does it even before you started dating, and not just because they are good but also because your opinion is really important to him

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Maurice Bryant, 53, of Antelope, pleaded guilty today to conspiracy to traffic at least 5,000 grams of cocaine and 280 grams of cocaine base, and Steven Hampton, 64, of Sacramento, pleaded guilty today to one count of possession with intent to distribute at least 500 grams of cocaine, U.S. Attorney Phillip A. Talbert announced.

According to court documents, Bryant and Hampton are among the 15 federal defendants arrested in 2021 and charged in a 45-count indictment for trafficking narcotics as part of a DEA-led multi-agency operation targeting cocaine and heroin traffickers in North Sacramento. Bryant was intercepted during wiretaps in 2018 and 2019 trafficking kilograms of cocaine and cocaine base and was arrested in possession of two firearms and a bullet proof vest. Hampton was intercepted trafficking cocaine, cocaine base, and heroin, and arrested in possession of 949 grams of heroin, 567 grams of cocaine, and 34 grams of cocaine base.

This case is the product of an investigation by the Drug Enforcement Administration, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Homeland Security Investigations, the U.S. Marshals Service, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the U.S. Forest Service, the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, the Bureau of Land Management, the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, the California Department of Justice, the California Highway Patrol, the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office, and the Sacramento Police Department. Assistant U.S. Attorneys Cameron L. Desmond is prosecuting the case.

Bryant and Hampton are scheduled to be sentenced on July 11, 2024, by U.S. District Judge Troy L. Nunley. Bryant faces at least 10 years in prison and a maximum of life in prison and a $10 million fine. Hampton faces at least five years in prison and a maximum of 40 years in prison and a $5 million fine. The actual sentences, however, will be determined at the discretion of the court after consideration of any applicable statutory factors and the Federal Sentencing Guidelines, which take into account a number of variables.

Five defendants have already been convicted and sentenced for crimes related to the conspiracy: Jason Tolbert, 45, of Sacramento; Charles Carter, 36, of Sacramento; Michael Hampton, 57, of Vallejo; Arlington Caine, 48, of Rio Linda; and Bobby Conner, 51, of Sacramento.

Five more defendants have pleaded guilty and await sentencing in April and May 2024: Andre Hellams, 40, of North Highlands; Jerome Adams, 56, of North Highlands; Dwight Haney, 52, of Sacramento; Tyrone Anderson, 43, of Sacramento; and Mark Martin, 63, of Sacramento.

Charges remain pending against the following defendants: Yovanny Ontiveros, 41, of Sacramento; Alex White, 61, of North Highlands; and Wilmer Harden, 52, of Elk Grove. The charges are only allegations; the defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.

This prosecution is part of the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF) Strike Force Initiative, which provides for the establishment of permanent multi-agency task force teams that work side-by-side in the same location. The Sacramento Strike Force is a co-located model enables agents from different agencies to collaborate on intelligence-driven, multi-jurisdictional operations to disrupt and dismantle the most significant drug traffickers, money launderers, gangs, and transnational criminal organizations. The specific mission of the Sacramento Strike Force is to identify, investigate, disrupt, and dismantle the most significant drug trafficking organizations (DTOs) and transnational criminal organizations (TCOs) shipping narcotics, firearms, and money through the Eastern District of California, thereby reducing the flow of these criminal resources in California and the rest of the United States. The Sacramento Strike Force leads intelligence-driven investigations targeting the leadership and support elements of these DTOs and TCOs operating within the Eastern District of California, regardless of their geographic base of operations.

When reviewing my design, I considered implementing a visual cue to guide the audience to the specific area of the page where they needed to read. I attempted to create visual cues that related back to my research on radar imagery (Talbert, 2022).

However, after the presentation, further investigation, and feedback from lecturers and peers, it was suggested that the visual cue should be removed because the heading already effectively captures the audience’s attention. LO3 / LO4

hello ! I saw you opened up for ships so I figured I’d do one :)

I’m 5’7, with short curly dark brown hair and dark brown eyes. I wear glasses, so I love being completely unable to see without them (/s)

I’m currently studying English with hopes to get an associates degree in Journalism before transferring into a general English program so that I can eventually become a book editor. With that in mind I enjoy most if not all forms of creative expression, but writing is the main focus essentially. That being said I am also self-taught in art and music, and used to play soccer as well.

Personality wise the MBTI changes all the time so literally all I can put is “XNXP” truthfully — but beyond that I tend to be a pretty blunt and straightforward person. I’m pretty sarcastic and teasing especially with my friends. I’m very openminded and will try anything at least once. I know that the people in my life tend to see me as someone they can go to for advice / solutions because I don’t like to sugarcoat and they expect that sort of honesty from me.

My love languages are … acts of service and physical touch especially. I don’t come across as huggy in real life but I am, in fact, very huggy and like to be useful so there’s that. I always felt that Actions speak louder than words when it comes to expressing appreciation, at least from my standing.

Okay so like I said before I just feel like your energies match perfectly. First of all going off your personality type, I can’t work out Ron Speirs at all (just a personal opinion) I feel like he is 10000% a mixture as well, (I also relate to this hehe)

so when Ron first meets you and grows closer to you, he kind of watches you from afar, he confuses your sarcastic teasing nature as something to be scared of? Don’t ask me why big scary Ron Speirs would be intimidated by you, I think this is the first sign to him that he feels a little more strongly for you than he anticipated.

Of course, Ron would be attracted to your looks before anything. I feel like he would no doubt push that to one side as he wouldn’t want to be disrespectful and he wants to stay professional. Plus somebody who accepts themselves as ‘already dead’ can’t find themselves fancying another person?? Right??? He’d often just find himself, like I said earlier, watching you from afar.

I feel like you’d spot it a couple of times, but Ron would snap his attention away instantly and act occupied elsewhere. Like I said earlier, I feel like he’s intimidated and can actually be fairly shy????

when you do grow closer, Ron can’t exactly work you out, but this fascinates him. You have so many layers that he finds himself curious to peel them back more and more. I feel like he deffo would start to get closer to you towards the end of the war, you know in ep 9&10 especially he becomes a lot more open???? Well he’d be like that with you as well.

I think it would be a very slow starting relationship that builds over time, but the connection there is almost instant when you two actually realise how similar you are. Ron appreciates massively your honesty, that’s something that makes him respect you so so so much. He values you so much and I feel like many of his thoughts/ opinions would also be formed on what you think??? You would be like the Angel on his shoulder, rationalising his thoughts.

Malarkey steals a jeep to go joy riding? You laugh it off? Ron laughs it off. Talbert accidentally knocked his possessions to send home off a counter? Again, Ron approaches you first with the topic. I suppose it could be kinda confusing at first??

here’s this intimidating, mythical like man that’s a legend in Easy company and now he’s turning to you for advice? He truly trusts you on a deeper level and feels like he can connect with you more than anybody else.

of course this is when he finally does understand when you’re being sarcastic with him.

You know that scene where he tries to take some of the cutlery that Harry is stealing for Kitty, when he slaps Speirs away and he looks so confused? Well I feel like at first that’s how Ron reacts to your teasing, deep down he’s a big softie and his feelings become so strong for you that he’s worried you don’t feel the same way back:((((

Maybe you being so honest and not sugarcoating stuff would announce your feelings to him first? I feel like he’d be somewhat shocked, so much so that he’d be lost for words and just literally pull you in for a kiss. Oh my god, he’d be so passionate yet so gentle and he’d kiss you so deeply sodieoodieieirjekkwek

As for love languages, Ron wouldn’t be so good at physical touch immediately, he didn’t want to cross any boundaries, or show too much PDA in front of the men. He had a reputation to uphold, but behind closed doors oh my god he would literally latch onto you.

if either of you have had a bad day I feel like he’d just be the best cuddler ever and hide his face into your chest/ neck.

eventually, he’d feel comfortable in front of certain men like Lipton and Winters and maybe place a hand on your upper back to lead you away, but I think he would prefer it to be behind closed doors.

I suppose the first time you hug him may be before you two fully have announced your feelings together. If Ron doesn’t see you so much as a huggy person, again, I think he’d be shocked when you wrap your arms around him and embrace him in a well needed hug.

it almost makes him emotional, in fact it almost drives him to tears. Here’s this beautiful woman in his arms, providing him with more comfort than he’d had in years. Ron’s barrier definitely dropped after this, and he practically melts into the hug. You’d be so so good for him, because who doesn’t need a hug? I think Ron puts a lot of pressure on himself too, so just providing him with this comfort would mean so so much to him. The fact that you’re so honest with him is a huge aspect he values. You’re truly amazing for him and vice versa.

as for your hobbies, I think again, it’s something Ron grows to learn about you the closer you are. Maybe you’re focused one day, writing or creating an art piece, and he just kinda sneaks up on you. He doesn’t mean to scare you, but he’s so mesmerised by your tranquility and interest in this. It calms him? In a way? I think he’d be such a good muse for music, and he’d always always show an interest in what you’re doing.

in a way I think Ron can be goofy???? Like he definitely has a side to him you see more outside of the war, maybe he’ll steal your glasses??? I feel like he’d it the funniest thing ever? And maybe with soccer too you’d randomly stumble upon a ball (idk where this would happen but let’s go with it)
