As you may have known. Discord was blocked in the entirety of Russian Federation.

For "illegal content" such as allegedly CSA material and pro drug content, but most importantly lgbt propaganda.

I want to remind you that they allegedly found over 900 instances of said illegal content.

I also want to remind you that discord has a no tolerance policy for CSA material and it would be immediately banned by discord if reported.

So the issue lies in LGBT propaganda. Which they cannot reasonably remove,this will devastate the users if it were to happen.

Good news is despite the government saying they have no plans of unblocking discord

Roskomnadzor actually removed 2 complaints about discord from the registry and the discord servers seem to work in select regions.

Which is great if discord comes back again, but I want everyone to remember how many things we can lose from the most trivial to something as important as someone's rights (you can get 15 years in prison if the rainbow on your clothing looks like the pride flag here), if we let people fueled by hate or misguided belief have too much power.

The hate for the new Discord UI being chocked up to "Discord users don't like change" pisses me off because IT'S A FUCKING ACCESSIBILITY ISSUE FOR SO MANY FUCKING PEOPLE.
