My, it has definitely been quite a while. I’m here to inform our dear followers that our vacation has now turned into an indefinite hiatus due to some things happening on both of our ends, so I’m typing on the behalf of us both. Fortunately, the blog itself will stay up and dormant until further notice. Should I have any free time, I’ll be sure to at least finish up the submissions and queue them. With the last post being made, it’s now summer vacation! Mod Hiyo and I decided that with a new summer break here, we’re also gonna go out for vacation! Which means... We’re unfortunately gonna put this blog on a hiatus until summer break ends. Fret not, though! We’ll be back soon with more posts to come!

I hear a buzzing insect somewhere in my bedroom as I’m typing this, so yes, it is summer now...

The theme won’t be changed until we come back (unless Mod Defo decides to reset it to Defoko or Hiyori lol). But you’re welcome to submit UTAUs for the next theme or for a signal boost post! We’ll address any and all asks when we return.

June’s Blog Theme UTAU

げっ。。。

I forgot to make the post, didn’t I?

Alright, four days late... But we can manage!

You know what comes next, of course!

The blog theme for this month will be centered around Beth (ベス), who was created by “Mi” (@_HAY_a on Twitter). However, this also means that Beth cannot be the theme for this blog again.

The blog has been adjusted to have its theme center around Beth. If the creator of Beth would not like their UTAU to be used as the theme of the blog, they are welcome to step up and tell us. That being said, Mod Defoko is pretty blind so please notify the mods if the blog theme hurts your eyes.

We will continue to our regularly scheduled posts shortly.

UTAU Theme for June!

Alright, time to put this up before anything else happens!

It’s time to gather UTAUs to select as the potential blog theme! As usual, please submit or reblog/comment an UTAU’s name and creator (to avoid confusion) on this post to submit an UTAU to be the center of this blog’s next theme! Remember: the UTAUs will all be put into a randomizer. Any UTAUs who were not chosen as the theme previously will be thrown into the randomizer as well (unless the person who submitted the UTAU withdraws them). If no more than one UTAU is submitted by the end of the month, the one UTAU will be chosen as the next month’s theme by default!

Please keep in mind that these UTAUs are to be automatically disqualified from the drawing, due to them already being chosen:

We’ve hit 100+ followers! Thanks for sticking around! Honestly, never would I have imagined this would’ve gone past even 25 follows! wwww I’m honestly glad we revived this blog, but thanks especially to Mod Hiyo for helping out a ton while I was out!

Now, my activity shall resume if I survive this weekend! Although, I’ve already put some posts in the queue already... Teehee!

May’s Blog Theme!

It’s a new month! Of course, that comes with a new theme! Apologies for it being a bit late this time. The theme won’t be changed yet because Mod Hiyori (me) still doesn’t know how to do that... Please be patient! >

*Mod Defoko laughs in intruding for a brief second to change the blog theme before disappearing for one or two more weeks*

Unfortunately, there were no new entries. Therefore, the theme defaults to a submission we received in April. And that submission is...

Matsudappoiyo, an UTAU created by Matsuda Toki! Unfortunately, this also means that Matsudappoiyo cannot be chosen again for future themes.

If the creator of Matsudappoiyo does not feel comfortable with their UTAU being the current theme of the blog, they are welcome to contact us.

We’ll return to our usual posts soon!

Heyo, same person who requested Beth! I'm quite sure that they don't have gender, not that it's unknown.

Yeah, I think you're right. It's listed as "uncategorized" in the readme. (I downloaded Beth's voicebank because of this and I plan to keep it, so thank you for requesting them!)

We’re one week away from April, and with that, it’s time to open submissions for the blog theme change once again!

Please submit an ask or reblog/comment on this post to submit an UTAU for the blog’s next theme! We need the UTAU’s name and creator to avoid confusion. These submissions will be put into a randomizer to decide the winner. April’s Blog Theme!

March has ended, and with that, it’s time to announce the new blog theme!

We got two new entries this time! Thank you to those who gave their suggestions! Now then, who won between the two? Let’s find out...

This month’s theme will be centered around Tonova Kika, an UTAU created by zovasoda! Unfortunately, this also means that Tonova Kika cannot be chosen again for future themes.

If the creator of Tonova Kika does not feel comfortable with their UTAU being the current theme of the blog, they are welcome to contact us. Another UTAU will be drawn from the submissions made this month. (In this case, we’ll default to the other submission.)

Sorry, this isn’t a feature, but... It is now the 21st~ Therefore, I am obligated to tell everyone here about the thing Mod Hiyori and I have planned!

TLDR for those who don’t wanna read: We’re throwing a bunch of UTAU names put on a reply on this post into a randomizer, where the UTAU picked for the blog theme every month is completely random! We had an idea where we would change the theme to fit an UTAU every month, as part of our way of getting the names of some UTAUs out there! However, the plan was to allow all UTAUs a chance of being the next theme of this blog! How this would work is that people can submit any UTAU by replying to this specific post but users are only limited to one UTAU, so choose wisely! The names of the UTAUs are then thrown into a randomizer, where it’s all down to RNG as to who gets picked! Yep, that’s right! Every name will have the same chance of getting pulled.

Once the UTAU is picked, the theme on our blog will be changed to match it. Remember: An UTAU can only be the theme of this blog once, and then it is automatically disqualified from any future pulls.

Well, now... Aren’t you interested? You know you are! You definitely are! What are you waiting for? Reply to this post or reblog it with a name! The deadline’s at the end of this month... So you have nine days to get your submissions in.

No post today, sorry! Mod Hiyori (the one writing this) is slow with making posts, and Mod Defoko might be on hiatus. So you’re probably stuck with me for a little while. That said, there should be a post tomorrow.

The tags have been modified slightly: “gender unknown” and “country unknown” will be used for those respective situations now. Before, we had several different tags (not marked, unknown, unidentified, etc.) because we couldn’t remember our own tags we were experimenting!

Without further ado, it’s time to announce the next UTAU for the blog theme!

This month’s theme will be centered around Dr. Leaf, an UTAU created by Leafy-P! Unfortunately, this also means that Dr. Leaf cannot be chosen again for the theme, after this month ends. 

If the creator of Dr. Leaf does not feel comfortable with their UTAU being the current theme of the blog, they are welcome to step up and inform us. Another UTAU will be drawn from the submissions made this month.
