⚠️🚨TO MY HIKERS, the Cholla side of Camelback has some (and by some, I mean a lot) of bees about 3/4 the way up. They will dive bomb your head, get stuck in your hair and possibly sting you. Today I’m my own motivation ✨When I was practicing yoga 6-7 days a week in LA ☀️🌴with the best teachers around (in my humble opinion), I didn’t realize how advanced I was. Only now that I don’t practice anymore do I have a different perspective. What I loved most about those classes was that my mind and body were constantly challenged. I was always hungry for more. I just wanted to soak up everything about yoga 🧘🏼‍♀️ both physically and spiritually. For advanced as my physical practice was, I still felt like I was at the bottom of the food chain in every class. This did not bother me one bit💥Looking around the room at all of the talent that surrounded me made me smile 😊 I knew where I wanted to go on the mat and what my goals were 🤸🏼‍♀️ that determination and inspiration is unlike anything I’ve every felt 🦄 yoga was my JAM ⚡️ Being surrounded by the best desensitized me to my practice however that’s what kept me accountable. Believe me when I say I put more than enough pressure on myself in every aspect of my life, but now when I think about my old yoga life, I think “damn! I used to be able to do that? That was me?!” 😂🙈 I know with enough practice, I’ll pick up where I left off.
